//------------------------------// // Humans, Ponies and Pokemon, Oh My! // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// This has happened before. There have been many instances where multiple worlds had crossed paths. One where Superheroes have met wizards, creatures meeting up with intergalactic life. So many of them with their own story. But this story is one of two worlds. One where there lay magical creatures who live with humans and a world of adorable yet wonderful ponies. Yet they all share one thing in common. A powerful bond. Friendship. Somewhere in the vast universe. A being of great power lies at the centre of it all. A sort of deer creature. This life form is known as Arceus. "It is coming for us now." The otherworld being said to himself with an echoing voice. "The same force that has affected multiple worlds and Universes. It has found us. Nothing I can do, but to see how it all turns out between this world and another. You can feel it too can't you Ash?" Equestria, Canterlot Currently, All of Equestria is unaware of what is approaching. From Manehatten to Saddle-Arabia. To the home of the Hippo-Griffs and the Griffins. High in the skies, a rift of sorts appeared, visible to the eye. Ponies looked up at the sudden appearance of the rift. It grabbed their attention as they did not know if it was anything that could pose a threat. Celestia was the first to witness this. Everyone had just recovered from Discord's return and the chaos he brought along with him. Now, this shows up, but no one knows what to make of it. "A rift?" The sun pony said. "Why would a rift appear suddenly? Unless something is trying to come through.." At Ponyville, the residents there spotted it as well. Cloudsdale got a pretty good view of it. "Spike, do you see that rift in the sky?" Twilight asked him. "I see it alright. You think it's Discord's doing?" Spike replied to Twilight. "I don't think so. Discord's antics are much more erratic and chaotic. This just seems to be static and silent. But we can't take our chances. Who knows what's lying in there?." At another world. The World of Pokémon The world on the other side is also aware of this. Humans and Pokemon all had their eyes fixated at the rift in the skies. Flying-type Pokemon avoid this rift with caution by flying around it, over it or just moving away in general. At Pallet Town, a boy and his partner Pikachu are completely unaware of this. "Man, Alola was an experience wasn't it buddy?" Ash Ketchum said to his best friend as they were both relaxing in his room. "Pika." He responded. "I can't wait to travel the rest of the world eventually. Who knows what other Pokemon are waiting out there." He laid back on his bed with Pikachu jumping onto his stomach. "Anyways. Let's get some good rest. That flight tuckered me out a bit." Both of them felt tired after their last adventure, so a good rest was needed for them as they both clocked out for a while. That's when the rift finally acted up. In a sudden expansion, it let out a radiant white light that engulfed both worlds in a nanosecond. Celestia, Arceus, no one could react fast enough to it. And just like that, it was all covered in a white light. The light settled, vanishing off as it seemed to do little damage. At the home Ash Ketchum, everything seemed fine. Delia, his mother noticed something was off. She took a look outside and what did she see? A pony. A light orange one with orange hair. And some sort of mark on it that was a chocolate cookie. She hadn't seen anything like it. "Oh, dear. These Pokemon get stranger every day while still looking cute and simple." She said to herself, not minding it at all. The pony on the other hand. "Hm? I was just in Sugarcube Corner. How did-" She was obviously confused. One minute she was ordering cookies and now she's here in another location. What she saw was some sort of purple rat. She assumed she just ended up in the wrong part of Equestria. This was happening everywhere else. Regions and Countries were being mixed together. All at once, humans, pokémon and ponies were scattered everywhere. Within houses, offices, schools, castles, etc. From Sinnoh to Yak-Yakistan. Twilight opened her eyes as she saw everything was normal around her at first. No one was hurt from the light. It seemed to be a dud. "Nothing? Huh. Guess that was just a fluke, huh spike?" Twilight said laughing. Spike, on the other hand, was starstruck as he was pointing upwards. "Look again, Twilight!" Twilight looked to where Spike was aiming and what she saw was something she had never seen before. Some sort of hairless monkey? They were all over the place. "What are those?!" She shouted. Soon, pandemonium struck between the two worlds. Nothing made sense anymore. Above the balcony of Canterlot Castle, Celestia looked and caught sight of the jumble of mysterious creatures everywhere. She knew she had to calm everypony down before it gets more out of hand. To do that, she'd have to use her royal Canterlot voice. "Everypony, calm down. There is no need to panic. You are all safe and unharmed as of now. Everypony grinded to a halt, even the humans and Pokemon. Her voice reached from Canterlot to Ponyville. Every individual took some time to examine their surroundings. To them all, many things did not look right here. Back in Pallet Town, Ash has just woken after a nice rest. Neither he nor Pikachu knew about it. Ash rose from his bed while Pikachu awoke first. He shoved his human friend into waking him up. This never worked so the obvious thing to do is to do what always wakes him up. That never worked, so the obvious thing to do is to do what always wakes him up. A clean thunderbolt woke the sleeping trainer up. "Okay... I'm up." Ash said as he was covered in smoke. Time passed, as the two of them decided to go out. And once they got out, that's when they saw it. The rift. Although this time, it was in the ground instead of the sky. "Holy moly, Pikachu! You see that?!" Ash exclaimed, his finger pointing enthusiastically at the rift in the fabric of reality. Pikachu, always ready for an adventure, hopped onto his friend's shoulder, fixing his gaze on the mysterious anomaly. In that moment, the air crackled with an otherworldly energy. Suddenly, a hoof emerged from the rift, its color a mesmerizing shade of purple. "A hoof? Which equine Pokémon is that?" Ash wondered aloud, his curiosity piqued. Out from the rift emerged none other than Twilight Sparkle, accompanied by her loyal dragon assistant, Spike. The boy, still in his pajamas, reached for his Pokédex only to realize his current attire wasn't exactly suited for Pokémon research. "Oh." Twilight, with her sharp, violet eyes, took in the sight of the young trainer and his Pikachu. "Unbelievable, Spike. There's another world past here," she remarked, her voice tinged with amazement. Ash, still processing the sight before him, finally caught up to the conversation. "Huh? Woah, you can talk?! Or is it just telepathy?" "Telepathy?" Twilight responded, a hint of confusion in her voice. Ash, however, was convinced that the pony was indeed speaking on her own. "No way. You can talk without telepathy. I thought Meowth was the only one that could do that." "What is he on about?" Spike asked Twilight, sharing in her bewilderment. Twilight couldn't offer an explanation; this encounter was proving to be more perplexing than any magic she had encountered before. Meanwhile, Pikachu hopped off Ash's shoulder, making his way over to the duo. "Aww, look at how small it is," Twilight gushed, her eyes softening as she observed the electric mouse Pokémon. Pikachu extended his tiny hands toward Spike in a friendly gesture. "Oh. Hey," Spike replied, shaking hands with Pikachu. "Pikachu," he added, conveying his greetings. "He said hello back to you," Ash translated, kneeling down to pet Pikachu, who blushed in response. "That's so sweet. Being best friends is always nice." Twilight couldn't help but appreciate the bond between Ash and Pikachu. However, she quickly refocused on the reason for their presence. "Oh right! We're here because of that!" She pointed towards the rift, drawing the attention of both Ash and Pikachu. Through the rift, people, ponies, and Pokémon were crossing between worlds. "That rift appeared out of nowhere suddenly. And then it let out a blinding light that caused this. Ponies were being sent everywhere, and even some of your species ended up in our world." "So you're from another world, huh?" Ash mused. "Yes, and we hoped to come through here to find some answers. Luckily, the rift seems harmless." "Hm. Well, I got no idea really. I was kinda asleep through it all." Ash crossed his arms, chuckling at the absurdity of the situation. "This is no laughing matter! This could be dangerous for both of our worlds! At least... I think it will. Spike, go on and tell the others that we should go see Princess Celestia. She may know what to do." "Roger that." Spike darted through the rift, returning to his world to relay the urgent message. "In the meantime, I have a few questions for you... uhh." Twilight struggled to recall his name. "My name is Ash Ketchum." "Ash Ketchum! ...What kind of a name is that?" "Well, what's yours then?" "Twilight Sparkle," she responded, prompting a suppressed laugh from Ash. "Sure thing. Ask away, Miss Sparkle." "Hmph." Twilight frowned at him, her inquisitive mind ready to unravel the mysteries that connected their worlds. On the other side, Rarity's shop was experiencing some trouble. "WHAT IN THE NAME OF EQUESTRIA IS GOING ON HERE?!" She yelled through her lungs. A swarm of Sewaddle were fiddling around with all of Rarity's dresses using strings on them. Rarity rushed at them, using a scarf to move them away. "Shoo! Get back! Getaway!" She chased them all out of her shop while breathing to calm down. However, the moment she turned around, she saw how her dresses looked amazing all of a sudden. She couldn't get this much work done in a few hours "Oh my. These are stunning. Did those little bugs do this?" Rarity then gained an idea as she rushed out of her shop. "Wait! Come back!" Meanwhile, at Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack was about to buck some trees for apples. One kick dropped piles of them in a wheelbarrow. However, a sound came from the wheelbarrow. She looked over to see what it was. And to her surprise, a moving apple. "What in tarnation?" "Applin!" The creature said as it hopped away. Applejack rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't going crazy. But she saw what she saw. An apple with eyes and something wormy coming out of the back. "Big Mac! Granny!" Applejack called out as she ran into her home. At Sugarcube Corner.. we'll actually, Pinkie is already getting along. A group of Slurpuff were helping her make desserts and all kinds of sweets in a few seconds. They got along surprisingly quickly. As for Cloudsdale, there were flying type Pokemon everywhere, soaring around. Some even landed on pegasi heads, to get some rest. "Why are there so many birds?! This is ridiculous!" Rainbow Dash shook off the Tailow's on her mane. All of Cloudsdale was now 50% Pegasus and 50% Birds. Soon all of Equestria was filled with humans and Pokemon. Chapter 1 End.
