//------------------------------// // Welcome back Ash // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Kanto. Vermillion City Hospital. Day. Right now, a surprising revelation had been made at the hospital, concerning Ash. Recently, the doctors and nurses have discovered Ash having sudden movements while unconscious. It was unlike anything they've ever seen before. The closest a discovery like this has come to be is in the form of Komala, the Drowsing Pokemon. A Pokemon that never wakes up and all the tossing and turning it does in its sleep are just dreams that it has. But for Ash, it's a different story. Deep within his mind, he's utilizing Aura itself to fight back against the Delayed Aura Ataxia. But the doctors and nurses weren't aware of this being the cause of Aura. And of course, Delia was made aware of this, who quickly informed Pikachu, the rest of Ash's Pokemon and Twilight to come over and see this. Over the past few minutes, developments had been made concerning Ash's status. "Ash!" Twilight burst into the room with Pikachu. "Pikapi!" And once they showed up, it was revealed that Ash in this odd state between conscious and unconscious at the same time. A bit of a rarity if anything. "Hey, guys." Ash greeted his friends as Pikachu hopped into Ash's arms. His eyes were semi-closed as so far, only his arms could move. "Are you alright?!" Twilight jumped on the hospital bed. "Are you better now?!" "Slow down there, my little pony." The doctor said. "Your friend is in a bit of an odd mix. We're not sure what it is. He seems to be fine but...it's hard to describe." "Huh?" "Pika?" "The doctors here said that Ash in a strange mishmash of health." Delia walked up to Twilight. "It's like he's alternating between different states of mind." "Mhm." The doctor adjusted his glasses. "It's not really common here, to be honest. Or even something we've seen before. We're not sure why this is happening. Usually, when someone's unconscious, they're unconscious and when they're conscious...well, you know the rest. But Ash here is a different story. Almost as if something's keeping him-" "It's Aura!" Twilight cut the doctor off as Lucario nodded in confirmation. "Lucario." "What?" The doctor paused. "The issue was Delayed Aura Ataxia that caused all of this. So Ash's Aura is most likely the cause of it. I read about it and everything!" "Uh..." He narrowed his eyes. "Seems that there's a lot we don't know yet, huh?" "Yeah...I've been working hard to find a way around it," Ash spoke as all the attention was focused on him. "I swear I'm gonna get past this Aura Ataxia thing." "That's not possible, Ash!" Twilight shook her head. "It's a permanent side effect from what we found out. Maybe you can...I don't know...hold it back a bit?" "Yeah maybe. But I won't stop trying. Plus..." Ash sat up. "I think I can move a bit better now. All this focus has really been paying off I think." "Are you sure?" Twilight asked. "Don't you think you should get some more rest?" "Well, he's the first case that's been like this." The doctor said, raising a finger. "We've concluded that he can most certainly move freely. Usually, that's not the case." "Oh yeah!" Ash nodded as he jumped out of the bed. "I've been doing a bunch focus in my head about Aura. I even met uh...someone unexpected." "Oh, it makes me so happy to see you so energetic again!" Delia rushed over to her son, lifting him off from the floor with a hug. "But don't push yourself so much next time! But then again...that's something that won't happen, will it?" "Hehehe!" Ash laughed. "I'll take it easier this time, mom." "For the time being, we recommend you come back to the hospital frequently." suggested the doctor. "Your condition is...well, it's not like it's going away forever. You still need to make a full recovery. Even though...you look energetic at the moment." "Sure." Ash gave a thumbs up. "So, it's summer right now, right?" "Oh, it is! We were about to have a summer party very soon. And then we're heading for Undella Town to check out those villas and...well, I haven't figured out the rest yet. But you should come to the party." "Yeah! I wouldn't wanna miss this! It's great seeing you all again." Ash looked at Pikachu and everyone as Dragonite got teary-eyed, glad that her trainer was up and active again. Showing all her love along with the rest of Ash's Pokemon, minus Farfetch'd, they all flocked to their trainer with Dragonite starting a gigantic group hug before they all crowded him. "Dragonite!" "Luca!" "Gengar!" "Ow-ow-ow!" Ash winced. "Guys! I'm still a bit sore here!" "Thank you very much, doctor." Delia bowed to the doctor, thanking him for taking care of her son. "Ah, no worries. Besides, we should thank you as well, Mrs Ketchum, and um...T-Twilight Sparkle, right?" "That's me yes." "Right. If we weren't aware of this Delayed Aura Ataxia issue, we might've been unprepared for any other patients that may have the same issue. Since you know a lot about it, would you be so kind as to help us in the hospital? Or at least, give us some information about it." "Oh. I can write down every important thing about Aura from the book I had. Everything including Lucario too." Twilight offered to assist the hospital. "Great!" The doctor gave a thumbs up. "It's a bit embarrassing that we here at Vermillion City Hospital aren't that aware of this Aura problem. I mean, Sir Aaron and his Lucario lived here in Kanto, Rota, years ago." "Do you not get Lucario's here often?" Twilight asked. "They aren't native to Kanto after all. Only Sir Aaron's Lucario existed here. Other than that, Lucario's a rare Pokemon and we've never gotten this Aura Ataxia problem before. But if another one just so happens to come by here, we'll be ready, hopefully. It's not too clear on how this problem really works." The doctor shrugged. "But anyway, you go on your merry way now. We'll be seeing you back soon here, Ash. And bring your Lucario with you." "Right." Ash turned around his Pokemon broke off the hug. He would be back for daily checkups with the addition of Lucario now that this whole Aura Ataxia thing has been revealed. Ponyville, Twilight's castle. Afternoon. With Ash being awake, everyone took notice. They greeted him back, but no one greeted him more than those waiting inside of the castle. The friends that he tends to adventure with the most. "Welcome back, Ash!" Pinkie Pie bellowed at Ash while everyone welcomed him back. "Great to be back. And I'm feeling pretty good right now." Ash responded. "But I've still gotta go back to the hospital for checkups." "Aww, really?" The CMC sighed. "Yeah. Sorry, sorry." Ash scratched the back of his hair. "But I swear I'm gonna get through this Ataxia problem. I've already been focusing a bunch on my Aura." "Really?" Fluttershy asked. "Mhm. I wasn't too deep into Aura, even when I first learned about it when meeting Sir Aaron's Lucario for the first time. Maylene, Riley, Korinna and everyone else with a Lucario obviously know a lot more than I do about it. So, I figured I'd do the same. It's how I got myself to wake up in the first place." "You woke up from what would seemingly be a 2 or 3-week unconscious just by focusing your Aura?" Rarity squinted her eyes while pouting her lip out. "I would be surprised but...it's only natural." "It doesn't say anything about that being possible." Twilight had the page about Aura present with her. "Maybe it's another book?" "Any more thinking and I'll have this whole Aura thing down-pat." Ash tapped his head. "But anyway, I wanna get this summer party started, ya know." "Hmm..." Applejack and Rarity suddenly narrowed their eyes gazing at Ash as they could feel like something was missing from him. "Uh...W-What is it?" Ash wondered why the two of them were giving him such a focused stare as he laughed nervously. "For starters...seeing you without a hat ain't doing it for us." Applejack pointed her hoof at Ash's hair. Ever since the incident, the hat he was frequently seen with was gone. In another universe and everything. Now just his hair remained visible. "And you're not thinking of going through summer with that shirt are you?" Rarity deduced. "Hm?" Ash tugged his shirt while feeling his hair. "Heh. Guess so. It is pretty boiling right now." "No need to worry." Rarity let out a confident smile. "We have the perfect answer for this." Deciding to switch Ash's appearance up a bit, both Rarity and Applejack had already chosen Ash's summer getup for him. Mainly the shirt and hat. Ash's long-sleeved shirt wouldn't work in the summer, unfortunately. Until summer is over, he would need something shorter. Besides, before Equestria, Ash always wore fewer sleeves with all of his other clothes, so it was a bit nostalgic. And Ash without a hat is something surreal and uncanny. Just like how Applejack is mostly known for wearing her hat all of the time, the same goes for Ash, who has numerous hats. After minutes of selecting and swapping, Ash had a shorter shirt that resembled the one he always used to wear and a hat that was a mixture of his Sinnoh and Unova hat. "There. All is right in the world." Rarity felt satisfied as Applejack nodded in agreement. "Thanks, Rarity. Applejack." Ash adjusted his new hat. "This'll do for summer for sure. Totally gonna keep this hat on though." "Pikachu!" Pikachu hopped onto Ash's shoulder, liking the new hat himself. "Okay! Let's get this started! You guys can tell me what you've been up to recently." Ash walked forward as this summer party was about to begin. Everyone had a lot to tell Ash with their own little adventures, especially Spike who had a big adventure out of everyone else here. Ash got to experience the taste of food once more. Some made by his mom and some made by Pinkie Pie. He was also told by Spike's adventure and how he got to battle Kyurem himself as well as obtaining new teammates, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie going up against air itself and a bit more. "By the way Ash..." Twilight looked over at Ash. "Not sure if you know this by now, but I think Reshiram's here in Equestria." "Mmmrph?!" That caught Ash off guard as he almost choked on his food. He swallowed the food before turning to Twilight in shock. "Reshiram?!" "Pikachu?!" Pyrestar's world, the Harmonia Kingdom. Colress' lab. Speaking of Reshiram, aside from the second Reshiram being kept in here along with other Legendaries and Mythical Pokemon, very soon, Colress was about to come in contact with another one. One that used to be here. Ghetsis had gone off to another universe, just to capture himself another Pokemon for further pans. Meaning that Colress was in charge of everything in the meantime as always. Colress had indeed planted new spycams all across Equestria. Even if the previous ones were destroyed, new ones could be deployed. And the same goes for the current ones. However, Colress didn't have a full view of Equestria since more spycams were being made. Most of what he had on his monitors were just landscapes. And on one of those monitors, something shocking had shown itself. "What?! Reshiram!" Colress stared at the monitor before his eyes as the Legendary Vast White Pokemon Reshiram was standing out there in a grassy landscape somewhere in Equestria. But, that wasn't actually the surprising part. There were two Reshiram. Two of the same Legendary Pokemon in the same spot just casually standing about like nothing important is going on. Obviously, this threw Colress for a loop. "Don't tell me...They've somehow managed to obtain their own Reshiram have they?" Colress gulped. He then noticed that each of the two Reshiram were starting to move. They flapped their wings, taking to the skies for a midair flight. From what Colress could deduce, the Reshiram didn't have anyone else near them. They were by themselves without a Trainer, showing that they were going solo. Seeing their sudden movements, Colress had to alert Team Plasma immediately. Another capture mission was needed while Ghetsis was on his own. "Attention! All Team Plasma personnel. Head to the other Equestria! There are currently two Reshiram out there moving!" Colress explained as he gave further instructions to the team. The grunts all got moving, getting their equipment and gear ready. Capturing a Legendary Pokemon requires the utmost skill and resources. One of these resources were the giant blimps that Team Plasma own. And another, their best resource yet was the Plasma Frigate. However, that was undergoing repairs after what Jackie and Bon Bon did, so the blimps will have to do for now. For a Pokemon as a giant as Reshiram, blimps are needed. The grunts obtained what they needed, especially the necessary utilities. The blimps had been started up with the Travel Spheres all loaded. Team Plasma knew what they needed to do. Over these past few months, they've grown exponentially. More than they ever did in Unova. Colress would be assisting with the capture of the two Reshiram for safety. They couldn't be too safe with this. Plus, Ghetsis would be happy to learn about the retrieval of not one but two Reshiram after this is all said and done. After everything was set up, the gateway had opened with the blimps flying through. Two of them in total. Each for the two Reshiram. They had entered the other Equestria, ready to capture some Legends. They positioned the Travel Sphere so that it would follow the direction of where the three Reshiram were flying to. Once that was done, the blimps and the gateway appeared behind the three Reshiram, flying out and casting a giant shadow over the landscape. The two Reshiram then turned around, hearing the gateway as Team Plasma was here. Afterwards, the two of them suddenly stopped flying together. They descended, landing on a flat grassy surface instead of continuing their aerial movements. "They've stopped?" The grunt noticed. "Perhaps one of those Reshiram knows about us," Colress responded as he was inside the blimp that was in the middle. He adjusted his glasses, gazing at the three Reshiram. "The others might've already encountered their own Team Plasma. I suspect that they don't trust us one bit." "So then...?" "So then we can use force without a doubt. Capture those three Reshiram immediately." Colress ordered as Team Plasma each saluted. However, they weren't lowering the blimp or even exiting it. Instead, they were going to perform the capture in the air whilst inside the blimp. And they had the objects to do so. The first blimp had aimed its focus onto the first Reshiram they saw. Both Reshiram were lined up in a specific order. One was in the front and the other in the back for an odd reason. Out of the blimp, large steel chains with multiple Pokemon onboard came flying out all of a sudden. The Pokemon onboard were mostly Poison and Dark-Types. The Poison-Types were here for one reason. To poison Reshiram. On the chains, the poison was already present. Since poison can't affect metal, covering the chains in poison was an easy way to quickly poison an opponent without having to do all of the hard work like Pokemon moves. And the Dark-Types were there to play dirty as always. However, when the chains flew over and came close to touching the first Reshiram, the unexpected happened. Reshiram transformed. More specifically, it scaled down to a minuscule size while changing shape instead of retaining its usual draconic shape. throwing everyone off course. The chains had missed due to this sudden size change. "What the?!" Team Plasma gasped along with the Pokemon. It was soon revealed which Pokemon was responsible for this. None other than the Illusion Fox Pokemon. Zoroark. "Zo-Zo-Zo!" Zoroark chuckled as it ran off, knowing it had tricked them successfully. "Zoroak?! Just a fluke...?" Colress gawked. "Right where we want you!" Suddenly, a voice roared at them. From behind the last Reshiram, Princess Celestia had emerged. With a confident smile on her face and further throwing Team Plasma off, she knew what was bound to happen next. Zoroark had returned to its original trainer as it was soon revealed who it belonged to. It was Hollow's Zoroark as he was hiding behind a hill. It wasn't just Hollow hiding behind a hill. Guards from Canterlot as well were playing it secretive while having their Golurk ready for the right moment to apprehend the grunts. "Nice work, Zoroark." Hollow gave a high-five to his partner. "Zoroark!" Once that part of the plan happened, the second and seemingly real Reshiram had used one of its moves. Blue Flare. Reshiram fired a powerful and gigantic stream of light blue flames that could scorch the earth itself from its mouth. However, it seemed to hold it back and for good reason. The stream of light blue flames moved so fast that they not only melted the chains in seconds, but they had hit the end of the blimps. All three of them. The blimps of Team Plasma had their back parts blown away by Blue Flare, causing immediate problems. One of which was that Reshiram's flames were so hot that they could spread like wildfire. And that's exactly what they were doing. The light blue flames were already starting to consume the blimps like a black hole. Not just that, but the flames were so wide and expansive that they even passed through the gateway, reaching Pyrestar's world and the Harmonia Kingdom. The flames spread out into small fireballs, raining down onto the Harmonia Kingdom and immediately melting away parts of it. However, it was brief since they were leftover flames. But the damage was still there. Especially for Colress' lab. The flames broke through the ceiling with ease, landing near the lab as some of the technical and mechanical equipment was caught up in Reshiram's flames. But not all of them. "Now!" Celestia shouted as she had used her magic around the blimps after Reshiram had fired them. Her golden aura meshed with the light blue flames of Blue Flare. And it was quickly revealed what was up with the first Reshiram. From the corner of Colress' eye, he spotted Celestia's Gardevoir also known as Passion, was the cause of this. She had used her Psychic abilities to create an illusion, proving that it was just a fake. That was why it was the first Reshiram that was ahead of the second. A decoy. "Why that...!" Colress growled as his body, along with all of Team Plasma's had been caught by Celestia's magic. Even if she wasn't on the same level as Reshiram, she was still stronger than almost every other creature in Equestria. Especially with that Boundless Cutie Mark. Speaking of which, the Boundless Cutie Mark was glowing as it responded to Celestia's magic and Reshiram's Blue Flare. Not wanting to be caught up in the destruction of the blimps, all members of Team Plasma plan to get out of here as soon as they could with the Travel Spheres. However, thanks to Reshiram's flames burning away most of the blimp's interior, Celestia could see that they were all planning on using the spheres. "I don't think so!" Celestia declared as she had used her magic to grab all of the nearby Travel Spheres. Thanks to that Boundless Cutie Mark, she was the only pony in Equestria that could interact with anything Rift related. Minus the Rift Ponies. Celestia concentrated as hard as she could, raising the Travel Spheres into the air and moving them out of the blimp while the flames raged on. It wasn't just that, Celestia's magic was protecting Team Plasma from taking harm from the flames after knowing what comes next. However, she needed extra help from the incoming explosion. "Passion! Now!" "Gardevoir!" Now it was Passion to pull of the next phase of the plan. By using her amazing Psychic powers, the Embrace Pokemon was able to protect everyone with a shield. Colress grunted as he had a spare Travel Sphere at his disposal. He quickly tapped on it, using its Rift abilities to summon a gateway below him instead of in front like usual. Due to him summoning the gateway below, the scientist immediately dropped through it like a slide, exiting the scene. But he had left the rest of Team Plasma behind. Both Celestia and Passion had guarded them as the blimps eventually failed, causing a chain reaction of two light blue explosions to happen around them. The blimps had blown up with the grunts safely shielded by the shield of Celestia and Passion. As for the Pokemon, they had already left the chains after the flames had spread out, landing on the ground. However, they would have to deal with the real Reshiram, Zoroark, Passion and Arcanine as well. The Vast White Pokemon stood before the Pokemon, staring them down with ferocious eyes yet majestic eyes. Plus, Arcanine's strange ability to make anyone entranced by his majestic bark was also something that they had to deal with. Afterwards, Celestia and Passion had dropped the grunts on the ground after saving them from the explosion of the blimps. As for the blimps themselves, they had a less pleasant landing. In fact, they didn't have a landing at all. The explosion had essentially disintegrated them, making them non-existent. Once that was said and done, out of the rest of the hills, the Canterlot Guards and their Golurk had shown up. Each of the Ground-Ghost-Type had surrounded the grunts along with Reshiram who stood before them all. Naturally, the grunts and the Pokemon were taken aback since they weren't expecting this. "This whole thing was a trap?!" One grunt exclaimed. "Honestly...I was hoping it would've gone even further." Celestia sighed. "Originally, the plan was going to be longer...but this is a much better outcome." "Gardevoir." "Looks like Luna and Darkrai won't have their chance with the rest of the plan now that it's been cut short. Now, if I were you all, I wouldn't fight back. Reshiram here isn't too pleased with how your boss captured him." Celestia smirked. "Hmph." Reshiram sneered at the grunts as blue smoke came out of his mouth. "But...if you do want to resist, we'll gladly challenge you." Celestia spread her wings out as she had all the backup she needed. A Legendary Dragon-Fire-Type Pokemon that is one half of the strongest Dragon in the world. A special Gardevoir that can fuse with her and reach a strength level that many would dream of. A plethora of Golurk along with guards and an experienced trainer who has many Pokemon at his disposal. Clearly, this was a problem for the grunts. And it was made even worse that Luna and Darkrai were present here somewhere. And if Darkrai is here, a Dark Void is inevitable. Or a hypnosis spell from Celestia or Luna would do. Either way, the options were plentiful. Pyrestar's world, the Harmonia Kingdom. "Curses!" Colress slammed his hand on the metallic table. The gateway to the other world had closed as his lab was in a bit of a rut right now. Reshiram's Blue Flare had already dealt massive damage to the kingdom from just a few small fireballs and parts of his lab had been affected. "I can't believe I fell for something like that...Has my intelligence become inconsistent over time...? How am I going to explain this to Lord Ghetsis?" "You don't need to explain anything any further." Ghetsis had arrived, entering the half-melted lab of Colress. "Lord Ghetsis!" "Honestly..." Ghetsis put his hand on his face, letting out a light chuckle. "That Celestia sure knows how to think, doesn't she? I'll give it to her...that decoy plan of hers was simple yet genius. Of course, even a smart guy such as yourself would fall for it." "Tch..." Colress definitely took that one to heart. "Well...no need to mope about it. You can just use the spare lab for extra resources." "Spare lab?" "Haven't you been keeping track? Your lab still exists in other worlds. Use those until this one is repaired."Ghetsis turned around. "Wait! What about that other Equestria! What should we do!?" "I'll plan further ahead. Clearly, they've grown to a point where even our numbers don't matter. Empress Twilight should know since her little invasion was setback by just one alicorn. I'll speak to you once I've made up my mind." "Y-Yes, Lord Ghetsis." "I'll admit, this is getting a bit interesting." Ghetsis chuckled as he didn't even seem worried about how things were turning out. As if he had something else brewing in his mind. As the journey continues. Chapter 443 End.
