//------------------------------// // Inside every Rift is a universe // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// An unknown area. An area that was unknown. This was where Ash had awoken after being swallowed up by the Rift Volcano's cosmic magma. Thanks to his Aura and Sir Aaron's staff, he had been shielded from harm. "Huh?!" Once he awoke, he got to see this unknown area for himself. However, with just a few seconds of head movements and spectating, it may be unknown, but its appearance matched a common thing in every universe. Space. "I'm in...space?" Ash uttered, gazing at the cosmos. He then realized that he was currently breathing despite being in space. Plus, he was floating with control. He even felt something below his feet. He looked down to see that he was standing as a galaxy that acted as a platform. Ash could move on this galaxy as he was surprisingly bigger than it. That's what also threw him off. He was bigger than the stars around him, bigger than the planets and even bigger than the galaxy he stood on. He felt like a giant. There were other galaxies acting as platforms scattered everywhere. But, instead of taking the time to explore this cosmic area, Ash remembered how he ended up here. He recalled the cosmic magma swallowing him previously. Pikachu was out there. But still with Ash was his other Poke Balls, meaning the rest of his Pokemon were present in this space. "Yeah. I got swallowed up by it. But how come I'm in a place like this?" "You shouldn't have survived." Just then, the Rift Volcano started speaking to Ash with its voice echoing throughout the cosmos. "I'm way more stubborn than you think I am," Ash smirked. "What is this place anyway? Actual space?" "Not at all. Right now, you are inside of me. This the inside of a Rift Creation as you can see." "An inside of a Rift Creation?!" Ash gasped. "The Rift Ponies and Humans you know are the same. Inside of every Rift Creation, there is their own mini-universe, burning within them. Similar to the Pokemon. But no one else has been in this area before. The fact that you are the first is worrying. You're a troublesome one, Ash Ketchum." "Yeah, I get that a lot. Anyway, thanks for the neat fact about Rift Creations. But I'm still gonna stop you and free the Scrafty." He adjusted his hat. "Then you'll just end up perishing within these cosmos." Responding to Ash's declaration, the Rift Volcano had made the stars and planets move, shooting them towards Ash. "Lucario! Dragonite! Gengar! I choose you!" Acting quick on his feet, Ash had sent out his Lucario, Gengar and Dragonite for assistance. Once they emerged, the Aura Pokemon, Shadow Pokemon and Dragon Pokemon obliterated these planets and stars with Aura Sphere, Shadow Ball and Hyper Beam. "Let's get ourselves out of here. Maybe I use my Aura from inside." Ash figured that using Aura within what was essentially the volcano's internal area, he could break free. A star came his way. A fairly massive one while also moving ridiculously fast. Ash gasped before moving away from it. Soon, all of them started moving fast as a rain of stars started approaching in numbers equivalent to the number of stars in the night sky. "Come on!" Ash exclaimed to his Pokemon. Standing around wasn't the safest option right now. He and his Pokemon dashed off as the rain of stars chased after them. "Lu!" But not without some retaliation. Turning around, Lucario lobbed an array of Aura Spheres at some of the stars, blowing them up. And this time, their explosions were bigger, causing something akin to a supernova. Multiple of them. Constant star explosions were going off each time Lucario, Gengar and Dragonite took one out. The planets either crumbled or were obliterated by the combustion of stars. "Here goes!" Ash put his arm out, summoning Sir Aaron's staff as it had enlarged. He gripped the staff before letting his Aura flow out of him. And much like a flame to a wound, it burned the volcano from the inside. The Aura expanded, growing due to the influence of Sir Aaron's staff. The Rift Volcano could feel the Aura breaking its internal area down gradually. Every star that rained down were promptly halted due to what the Rift Volcano was feeling. Ash's Aura burned. "I-I can't lose to you!" The Rift Volcano rumbled, feeling the burn of Aura. And the staff only emphasized it. The damage done to it was so unbearable the space itself was starting to crack. Not wanting Ash to break free, the Rift Volcano was doing everything in its power to stop him. However, most of its power could be done on the outside, not the inside. There was only so much it could do internally. But there was one thing it could do. With all of its internal power, the Rift Volcano decided to form some of the stars together to push back against Ash's Aura with a little bit of Rift added in there. What followed was a collision of two forces. Nothing out of the ordinary. This wasn't the first time Aura and the Rift have met with each other. And it certainly won't be the last. Ash came to a screeching halt. But not with his will. He was trying to move forward, only for something to keep him at bay. But Ash was resilient. That much is known. He allowed his Aura to move him forward. But with assistance. "Gengar!" Gengar used Psychic to give Ash that extra push. Lucario and Dragonite chimed in, pushing Ash on his back with all of their force in every muscle they had. If Ash could keep the Aura going strong for a while, then he could break himself free soon. However, all this amalgamation of forces was becoming unstable the Rift Volcano and even Ash as well. So much so that at the very centre of this mini-universe, something had been revealed. A bubble in space had popped, revealing something that shined brighter than all the stars in the area. Everything stopped as Ash and his Pokemon had witnessed this new sight. A heart that constantly swivelled with various lights exuding out of it. Inside of the heart was an orb. All attention was drawn towards it immediately. And Ash could only wonder. "What is that?" "Stay away from that!" The voice of the volcano roared, making the universe shake. Clearly, this heart was of great importance. Ash could feel the radiance illuminating from it as there was a connection being made. Ash could feel the enigmatic phenomenon glistening from this heart. It felt like it was speaking to him. He instantly realized what it was. Something that every Rift Creation had. "This is your heart." The Glittering Island. Nightfall. Due to everything pausing within the Rift Volcano, outside, the magma stopped flowing as well. To the point where it was motionless. Frozen. Seeing magma just sit there without any sound or motion was bizarre. Especially to the eyes of Pikachu, Shining Armor, Adagio Dazzle, Flash Sentry, the other four guards and their Pokemon. Right after they witnessed the Rift Volcano consume Ash, now they had seen this. "It stopped. Can magma do that?" Flash Sentry asked. "No." Adagio gave a straightforward answer with an honest head shake. This is not possible in any way, shape or form. Unless it involves the Rift then anything is possible. "What should we do?" A guard asked Shining Armor. "Should we-" "Pika!" But Pikachu didn't want to stand around while Ash and his teammates were in danger. He immediately approached the frozen volcano, aiming to do something. "Pikachu, wait!" Shining Armor held his hoof out. But there was no convincing Pikachu. Not when it came to his best friends. And Shining Armor knew this Manaphy looked, wondering what she could do to help. But nothing she could do would work. "Chu...Pika!" To test things out, Pikachu used Iron Tail, slamming it onto the motionless magma. He was hoping to crack it, but it was to no avail. However, Pikachu refused to give up. He kept slamming his tail onto the magma before using Thunderbolt. "Hey. Hey!" Adagio went up to Pikachu, stopping his efforts. "None of that is working, okay? Your friend is gonna be free like that." "Pikachu..." Pikachu's ears dropped as Manaphy went to comfort him. "Mana. Mana-Mana." "But he should be in there somewhere. The magma stopping must mean he's done something crazy again. Otherwise, this volcano would've attacked us by now." Adagio observed. "Alright. Gather the parts of the ship that were stolen while the volcano's like this." Shining Armor ordered. "And we'll assist Princess Luna and the others back at the Grand Equestria. Let's put our faith in Ash to get out of there." "Manaphy!" Manaphy thought of one way to gather some help. It was hard to say but it was all she could think of. The Scrafty that had managed to resist the Rift Volcano and became a mixture of Unovan and Equestria. She bounced into the air, going for the nearest body of water, but obviously, away from the ships. The Grand Equestria. It wasn't looking too easy here either. Luna was currently struggling against Tempest Shadow, who was currently jumping from Pokemon to Pokemon, using them to her advantage. All the while, the Grand Equestria was a prime target for the Rift Blockade. "Gliscor!" Gliscor, being an expert in the skies, was even finding some trouble here and there. The mobility of these ships was comparable to his. Musharna was floating around, trying to see what dreams she could eat. She didn't have many attacking moves but thanks to Darkrai's Dark Void, Dream Eater could work its magic. "Darkrai! Dark Void!" Luna commanded as all of her Pokemon were still active. Darkrai threw his Dark Void over at Tempest Shadow who was currently on the back of a Mandibuzz. "Brave Bird." "Mandi!" Mandibuzz cawed, zooming through the skies with an orange aura covering her. She evaded the Dark Void by flying underneath it, crashing into Darkrai. Along the way, Tempest had also fired magic from her horn towards Luna. Luna herself had been hit as well. Both Luna and Darkrai were knocked off their balance from the combined prowess of Mandibuzz and Tempest "Ugh!" Luna groaned. "Aurorus, Aurora Beam!" "Aurorus!" But she still had Aurorus who was down here with her. The Rock-Ice-Type unleashed an aurora-coloured beam right for the Bone Vulture Pokemon. "Ma!" Mandibuzz was struck, taking super-effective damage as Tempest jumped off Mandibuzz at the last second. Mandibuzz had fallen after being struck by Aurora Beam. But Tempest jumped onto the next Pokemon which was another Skarmory. "Now, Darkrai! Thunderbolt!" Darkrai placed his arms together, shooting out Thunderbolt. This time, Tempest put a shield around Skarmory, protecting it from the bolt 100,000 volts. "This is fun but too much time is being wasted," said Tempest as Skarmory had used Air Cutter towards Darkrai. Promptly avoided them before approaching the Armor Bird Pokemon. "Skar?!" Skarmory gasped before being met with a Dark Pulse to the face. Tempest hopped off of Skarmory at the last second once more, evading another hit. She even jumped on Darkrai's head afterwards as Skarmory had fainted. "Gotcha!" Darkrai cried out before manipulating the shadows. He turned around, sending claws from out of the shadows to try and grab Tempest. But one of the airships came in, ramming into Darkrai and breaking his concentration. While most of them have switched to the underwater, some of them stayed in the air. "Darkrai!" Luna gasped as Tempest landed right in front of the Princess of the Night. Luna quickly moved back, lighting her horn up with magic. But right from behind, another Skarmory was incoming, using Iron Head at full-speed. "Auro? Aurorus!" Aurorus stood behind Luna, acting as her shield. She had used Outrage to try and block this attack from even touching Princess Luna. She and Skarmory butted heads once the collision occurred. As for Luna and Tempest, their horns also clashed as well. Magical auras started sparking out of them. Both had blue magical auras, but Tempest's was slightly lighter than ours. "I wonder! Has my alternate self of this universe been discovered yet?" Tempest questioned while trying to push Luna back. "Not that I know of! And if I do come across her, hopefully, she'll be less of a hooffull than you!" Luna retorted. "So not yet, eh? Good. When the time comes for your universe to be conquered, I'll be her personal trainer. A dynamic duo of the same pony. A shame that out of all the possibilities so far, you don't get that special chance?" "What do you mean by that exactly?" Luna growled as she was starting to push back on Tempest. "In every universe that we've travelled to so far, there is none with Princess Luna having a promising future. Only Nightmare Moon at best. Sounds to me like you're doomed to be under the shadow of your big sister and only capable of reaching greater heights as the pony you despise being. How fun is that?" Tempest chuckled, mocking Luna for her shortcomings. "Why you...!" Luna's anger was being exuded. And with this anger, Lunar Ire was slowly starting t emerge as Luna's eyes were glowing. However, despite this taunting, Luna was a strong-willed pony. Much more than she was before. "No!" She shouted, rejecting Lunar Ire from appearing once more. She even used a bit of her Royal Canterlot Voice, pushing Tempest away and ending the horn struggle. Tempest shook her head, feeling a bit confounded. Luna's body sparked dark blue as a sign of Lunar Ire, but it was promptly taken away as Aurorus pushed Skaromory away, winning in the head clash and knocking the Steel-Flying-Type out. "Say what you want. Even I and my variants of myself live under my big sister's shadow, I can still make myself known! Without Nightmare Moon. Clearly, you haven't seen enough of my universe to know just what I've forged my own path to where I and my sister can truly shine. Along with my Pokemon. That's my universe" Tempest was slightly intimidated by this. She couldn't quite get to Luna's head. Due to the current time and how she's developed ever since last year, Luna's resolve was as strong as Cobalion. "Talk about scary..." Tempest uttered under her breath. "But it's not a big deal. I've played my part. Our advantage came from the sea instead of the skies." "What?" Luna had an eyebrow-raising moment before seeing Tempest nudge her head to the side. Indeed, Tempest was just there to buy time and maybe affect Manaphy with the small amount of Nightmare Rarity magic she had currently. But that part wasn't coming to fruition. Except for the first one. Underwater, the ships have been interacting with the Grand Equestria this entire time. Frillish was knocked out of the water by what seemed to be an electric shock. "Frill!" "Frillish!" Luna gasped, catching Frillish in her hooves. The Floating Pokemon was twitching with static around his body. It looked like an Electric-Type was responsible for this. However, so far, all the opposing Pokemon have been Flying-Types. But in reality, the ships underwater were the cause of it, emitting an electrical surge via one of the many weapons they had. But that wasn't the only weapon they had. Right now, the Grand Equestria was being pulled towards the Rift Blockade. Not by the Golurk, but by the ships and their magnetic weapons. The force of these magnets pulled the ship towards the blockade, even just as efficiently as the combined might of Golurk. And du to the previous actions of the Golurk, it was the Grand Equestria that was closer to the blockade more than the Sunstorm were. The magnetism emanating from these ships seemed to also move faster than the Golurk. And this did not spell good news for all of those onboard. Luna soon realized this. She was the only one who did since everyone else was occupied. But showing up to the scene, just now, were Shining Armor and the other guards. However, they didn't expect the ship to be slightly further away from the island. "The blockade!" Luna gasped after realizing that the Grand Equestria was close to the blockade. "All of you, push the ship back!" "How are you gonna do that when they're so occupied?" Tempest asked as the Golurk and guards were still dealing with more Flying-Type Pokemon at the moment. She was on the back of a Honckhrow, chuckling as she knew that Luna's group was in a rough spot right about now. Without a force to counteract the magnetic field, this was an issue. "Princess Luna!" Shining Armor cried out, riding on Aegislash as the other guards were on their Golurk. Even if they used their Golurk to push the ships, Tempest and the others would get in the way, distracting and putting them off focus. "Is everything okay?!" "Everything is..." Luna looked up as Tempest was being carried away by a Honchkrow. Luna didn't let Tempest throw her off guard. "Not at its best. We're even with our enemies, but the ship is headed for the blockade. We need to make a counteractive force that will steer us away from it." "We can just have the Golurk do-" Flash Sentry was about to suggest. "No. Not with all these foes around us. There won't be any time or focus to make it work." Luna closed her eyes, thinking as hard as she could. The power of Lunar Ire was seeping out, tempting Luna to use her. "I'll give you enough time." Darkrai descended as he had just malfunctioned the ship in the sky that had previously rammed into him. "Darkrai?" Luna turned to the Pitch Black Pokemon. "Push the ships either way. I will do my best to keep them at bay. You can also try using a shield around us and away from our foes. Better to try than to do nothing, Luna. You and Equestria have taught me that." He turned to Luna while being in front of her. While it was impossible for Darkrai to smile, if he had a mouth, he would by now. "And both of us can do something." Shining Armor referred to himself and Flash Sentry. "I only have Aegislash while Flash Sentry has a Pidgeot. They can't push but they can defend." "Sure can." Flash and Pidgeot nodded. Aurorus, Musharna and Gliscor did the same as well. "Pidgeo!" "R-RIght! Thank you, Darkrai! All of you." Luna nodded with a proud smile. That steered Lunar Ire away. She then used some of her Royal Canterlot Voice to speak to everyone. "Now! Start diverging the ship at once!" With her command, all of the Golurk ceased their battle against their opposing Pokemon, focusing on the ship. They used their flight ability as they put their hands out. All at once, the Golurk touched the Grand Equestria from one side only. However, this meant that their opponents could attack them freely without having to worry about any retaliation. The Flying-Types and ships advanced on the Grand Equestria. But there was defence behind it. For Luna's magical shield to protect the Gourk, she needed the enemies to be as far away from the Grand Equestria as possible. Luckily, the rest of her Pokemon, Shining Armor's and Flash Sentry's would make that possible. "Aegislash, use Sacred Sword!" "Pidgeot, Heat Wave!" "Darkrai, Dark Void! Musharna, follow up with Dream Eater! Gliscor, you're the best with the skies so do what you do best. Aurorus, do what you can with Stone Edge and Aurora Beam from afar!" "Aegislash!" Aegislash and everyone took action, approaching the ships in the sky. Those that could float or fly took the skies while Aurorus would provide support from afar. But there was one other help coming this way. "You as well, Xatu. Florges." Luna took out two Poke Balls, sending Xatu and Florges out for assistance. "Xatu!" "Florges!" "Xatu. Florges. I need you both to assist your friends and keep those foes away from the ship as much as you can. Florges, I can rely on you to heal everyone. Make sure no one faints." "Xa-Xatu!" Xatu and Flogres advanced with Florges being the one to heal everyone in case things were getting too ugly. Luna's Pokemon would be busy but they always give it their all to make their trainer happy. "Where is Adagio Dazzle? Did she not come back with you?" Luna asked a guard. "Adagio Dazzle is staying behind at the island for a bit. Ash Ketchum has been swallowed by the Rift Volcano, your majesty." "W-WHAT?!" Luna gasped as her heart dropped after that revelation. "But we suspect he's fine due to the motionless magma and the Aura exuding out of it!" The guard quickly reinstalled hope in her heart. "Adagio Dazzle is trying her best to figure out a way to free him. As for the Scrafty, the Want-it-Need-it spell has been used by Adagio Dazzle to distract them." "Then only I can reverse the spell with my magic. We can't stay here for too long..." Luna bit her hoof. "But we need to help the Scrafty as well. So much to try...but we have to do what we can." "If you're so stumped, use me..." Lunar Ire spoke once more before almost appearing as a floating head as always. "Stop hesitating and fully accept what you're capable of. Why not have a second usage of this power?" "If I use you then..." "Then nothing. This situation is already risky in its own right. So go ahead. Take it." "...Fine. But only a bit of your magic and not for too long." Luna, in the heat of this moment, decided to use the magic of Sorrowful Rage. Lunar Ire grinned before fully entering Luna. Due to Lunar IR giving Luna a bit of her magic, Luna had a mixed appearance of both her normal self and Sorrowful Rage self. She had blue going eyes temporarily for now while also having a red stripe in her mane, similar to what the Empress showcased during the invasion when she had less magic than she usually had. All thanks to that Magic Siphoning Jar. Luna in this state could do a lot at the moment. And she was going to use it to the best of her abilities. She turned her attention to the underwater, knowing that she had to help the Golurk in any way she could. Luna wasn't sure what she could do as Lunar Ire, especially she's not even in that full form yet compared to when she was in the Dream Realm. But Lunar Ire whispered to her, giving Luna advice "I was able to reverse whatever I could in the Dream Realm. I wonder if the same can be said for reality?" Luna then jumped underwater, deciding to test out her magic. She then used the Underwater breathing spell to breathe underwater for 20 minutes tops. Tempest Shadow saw Luna and her new appearance head underwater while the feud continued in the skies. Tempest took the chance to get to Manaphy and at least use the Nightmare Rarity spell. "That transformation could be a problem..." Tempest uttered. "But we'll leave that for now." Underwater, Luna came face-to-face with the ships that were pulling the Grand Equestria. There were plenty. More than Luna was expecting. Seeing that Luna was here, some of the ships decided to attack her, letting out electrical discharges underwater. Luna would now have to deal with all of these ships on her lonesome. Within the Rift Volcano's Mini-Universe. Ash stood there, approaching the Rift Volcano's heart. He had no idea it looked like this. He was still surprised at how there was a mini-universe in every Rift Creation. "Y-Y-You stay far away from my heart, Ash Ketchum!" The volcano erupted, summoning some planets to fire them at Ash and his Pokemon. "I won't let you destroy it! Please!" Fear could be heard from the volcano. Destroying the heart meant the end of its life, of course. Plus, the volcano was already damaged from the Aura burning it. Seeing this made Ash realize what Cold, Colt, Jade Skies Emerald Aura and even Obsidian's hearts looked like. This meant that the Rift Volcano was more full life than Ash expected. It threw him off guard. But he stood there, gazing it at, not performing any action despite how vulnerable the heart was. The planets had been thrown at Ash while he wasn't looking. Lucario, Gengar and Dragonite were ready to destroy them at any moment. "I'm not gonna destroy it." Just then, Ash stopped the Rift Volcano as the planets it was about to throw had frozen in place. His Pokemon did the same. "What?" "I can't do that. You said Rift Creations don't have a reason for the things they do, right? Even if you're just here to do something and that's that, you still have a life. So I won't destroy your heart?" "But why? You have the chance to finish things here and erase my existence completely. Yet you choose not to..." The volcano stayed silent for a bit before remembering who it was talking to. "Ah. Why am I surprised about this? Curse you and your kindness, Ash Ketchum." "Hehehe." Ash gave a cheeky grin and chuckle with his arms crossed. "Thanks. But I'm still gonna break free and turn all the Scrafty back. Even if I'm not gonna destroy your heart." "And then what? You expect me to stop?" "I don't know what you're gonna do next. Really, I don't know how to punish a volcano after everything's done." He scratched his hair. "But since this is your home and everything, you can keep being as free as you want. Living here. But if you mess anyone else, I'll come after you, no matter what." The volcano, once again, was mute. It didn't expect a threat from Ash yet it was more a generous threat. One that would only come to pass if the volcano's actions became more widespread or if Ash just happened to be nearby and catch wind of it. And then, the volcano asked him a question. "Tell me. What was it that you said to me back out there? When I told you we creations had no motivation." "I said I know some Rift Creations that do. Cold Colt and Jade. Even Emerald's got something more than what she's already got. Sure, they were made by the Rift, but they're being their own ponies right now." "And do you suppose the same can be said for me." "I don't know. You're on your own here on this island. I don't get everything about the Rift after all. It hurts my head a lot, ya know. What you do is up to you." "Fair play. So if I am to just release the Scrafty, I am free to do whatever I want, right?" "I mean...I don't know if a volcano can move. Can you?" "I am stuck at where I was made. I doubt the Rift will listen to my demand to in all honesty. But, perhaps I can do something with this island. All of the valuable shiny objects could be transformed into something new." The volcano then realized that Ash's words had gotten to it. Ash had given the volcano a reason to be what it wanted to be, despite its appearance and build. "Very well. I shall free the Scrafty." "Really?" Ash gasped. "They were boring me anyway. It's been almost a full year since they've shown up after all. Besides, I will take your word for it." The space around Ash and his Pokemon started rippling. The heart had been hidden back by a cosmic veil. Ash decided to keep using his Aura to exit here. It still stung the volcano but it would be brief, thankfully. He and his Pokemon could feel themselves returning to reality. Reality. Ash and his Pokemon had returned. Right in front of Pikachu's very eyes. "Pikapi! Pikachu!" Pikachu was ecstatic, lunging to hug his best friend. "I'm okay, buddy!" Ash laughed while hugging his partner. Adagio couldn't help but smile faintly at this. There was something endearing about seeing a sight like this. It reminded her of her siblings. Dragonite got in there, pulling everyone in with a hug. Even Adagio. "Hey! Hey!" Adagio roared and hissed at Dragonite but doing that to a dragon was pointless. She became a victim of the hug too. "Ugh..." Once that was said and done, the Rift Volcano gained motion once more. However, the lava didn't hurt anyone when it touched Dragonite and Lucario's legs. There was no harm done. "Thanks, Vol," Ash said to the volcano. "Vol?" The volcano said with a surprised tone. It didn't expect a nickname. "You're a weird one. I'll undo the changes now." Right after that, the volcano made its magma spread along, going for the Scrafty to revert them eventually. "Wait!" Adagio exclaimed. "The Want-it-Need-it spell! It hasn't been reversed yet!" The volcano then stoped the magma flow afterwards. "Luna's the only one who can do it. But she's occupied right now." "Then we'd better hurry. Let's change everyone back, reverse the spell and leave to the Sea Temple." "Aren't we going to battle them and defeat them?" Adagio asked him. "It's best to get rid of this nuisance right now." "Yeah. But we can't waste any time at this rate. We have to go. Now." Ash was set on leaving. Adagio shrugged as she felt like she couldn't fight back against this. It would be a strategic retreat in the long run. But one that would be worth it. They could not risk damaging the ship any longer. And with the Rift Blockade, it was impossible to know the results if the Grand Equestria connected with it. But meanwhile, Manaphy had sensed the flow of magma once more. This meant that the Rift Volcano was active once more. Manaphy had hope that Ash was free so she aimed to head back there. The Scrafty plan was scrapped. "Mana!" But as Manaphy went along her way, appearing in front of her with a massive shadow cast over in the form of two individuals was Tempest Shadow and Honchkrow. "Mana?" Manaphy gasped, witnessing the unicorn and the Big Boss Pokemon's sudden appearance. She was startled, almost falling on her back. And this was where Tempest could strike while Manaphy was still flustered. "Mean Look." "Honch!" With just the flash of its eyes as its body became surrounded by a dark purple aura. A red light then surged out before covering Manaphy on the spot. One look and Manaphy was stuck, petrified for a small moment. But just the right amount of time for Tempest to use Nightmare Rarity's magic. Out of her horn, a mist of nightmare magic and even a bit of Rarity's original magic came flying out, wrapping around Manaphy like a hug. "P-Phy!" The Seafaring Pokemon was agape as the magical aura was already infecting her insides. And since it was during the night, the effects would be greater for a long time. Manaphy then went silent for a while with slightly grey eyes forming. The magic was already doing what it does best. "Good," Tempest smirked as Manaphy lowered her head. "Now then. You're not going to come along with us...But you are going to do one specific thing along the journey. Listen closely and head back to your crew, okay?" "Mana...Phy..." As the journey continues. Chapter 604 End.
