My Little Pokémon

by Amarvax

Victory by Mouth

Equestria. Canterlot. Equestria League Stadium.

The exhibition match between Ash and Gold continues. Two Pokemon from each side were down with Lucario and Typhlsion being sent out next. They were still on a time limit, but these minutes would not be wasted on these trainers.

While this battle was ongoing, with Sombra deciding to put on his Jet Black disguise, he had been snuck up on with a hoof touching his back. "Oh! Who goes there?!"

"My bad! Sorry!" But the one present here was the older Flurry Heart from Universe 6.

"You..." Sombra groaned.

"What? You told me that catching others off guar when they least expect was another way to go, right?" Flurry Heart brought up one of Sombra's lessons to her.

"I did say that. But not on me."

"I came here as soon as I caught wind about this battle. How's it going?" Flurry Heart peered her head past the crowd. She was just in time to see Lucario vs Typhlosion take place. "Oooh! It's always fun to see Ash battle! Is he winning?"

"He's tied with that other trainer. But he'd better win this if he wants to properly hold the status of a king..." Sombra narrowed his eyes.

"Lucario! Force Palm!"

"Rrrr!" Lucario advanced, running towards the Volcano Pokemon with his paws glowing.

"Focus Blast, Typhlosion!"

"Typholosion!" Typholosion put its two hands forward, summoning a ball made out of mental energy. Typhlosion had then later thrown the blast.

"Lu!" Lucario locked onto the blast as it had stopped him from going any further. His paw met with the ball of mental energy. Lucario destroyed the blast but at the cost of failing to use Force Palm on Typholosion, causing him to slide away.

"Extrasensory!"

"Phlosion!" Typhlosion's eyes had then flared a bluish colour with then had purple outlines. From his eyes and hands, a Psychic wave could be seen emerging.

"Double Team!"

"Rrr!" Lucario went back in there, but he ended up duplicating himself multiple times in the process. These clones had scattered, causing Extrasensory to hit some fakes that had then been blown away.

"Ty?!"

"Now, Aura Sphere!"

"Luca...!" Multiple Lucario clones appeared above Typhlosion along with the real one, ready to unload them onto the Volcano Pokemon.

"Use Eruption to find the real one!"

"Ty...Phlosion!" In a perfect position, Typhlosion had got on all fours with the flame on its back intensifying. From its back, the flame expanded, unleashing a gigantic eruption of fire that went upwards. All the Lucario clones and the real one gasped as the flames gave an orange ambient to their entire bodies.

The real Lucario managed to stay away while the rest of them were engulfed. Lucario landed, skidding on the ground afterwards.

"That got close..." Ash uttered as he knew one Eruption from Typholosion would do massive damage. The best thing to do was to not get over the Volcano Pokemon.

"Use Aerial Ace, now!"

"Typhlo!" Typhlosion was now the one to get up close and personal, approaching Lucario with a white trail around its body, moving at confounding speeds.

"Lucario! Force Palm!"

"Rio!" Lucario would meet face to face with Typholosion, also approaching the Fire-Type. Soon, the two of them were locked in close quarters combat with Force Palm and Aerial Ace colliding. They pushed each other before Lucario lunged back in, going straight for the head.

"Typhlosion!" Typhlosion had promptly ducked, eluding a hit to the head before then getting a precise hit on Lucario's stomach. Lucario grimaced before then being pushed back. After being repelled, Typholsion went for another Aerial Ace, only for Lucario to then release the energy of Force Palm into an orange beam, blowing the Volcano Pokemon back. "P-Phlo!"

"Use Reversal!"

"Cario!" Lucario would take the damage he felt from Aerial Ace 3 seconds ago and use it on Typhlosion who had just been knocked away by the energy of Force Palm. The Aura Pokemon ran back in with his paw still glowing.

"Extrasensory!"

"Typhlosion!" Typhlosion's flared its eyes, spreading out Psychic waves to push back Lucario. The Aura pokemon gasped as he had been blocked from getting closer to the Volcano Pokemon with an array of mental-based waves.

"Rrrr!" Lucario, much to his chagrin, was forced back once more, unable to get close.

Now, Eruption!"

"Ty...Phlo!" Instead of getting on all fours, Typhlosion had built up the flames boiling within it, unleashing an erupting blast of fire from his mouth. He had more than one unique way to use this devastating flame.

"Dodge with Double Team!"

"Rrr!" Lucario split himself multiple times, using this chance to get around Eruption from a different angle. From above, it was a bad idea, but on the ground from different sides was a different story. The dozens of Lucario clones had emerged, taking the hit for the real Lucario. That allowed the real Lucario to advance while the others fizzled out.

"Now! Reversal!"

"Caaaa!" Lucario had Typholosion where he wanted him as his glowing palm met with Typhlosion's stomach.

"T-Ty!" Typholosion cried out as its flames went upwards with all of Lucario's clones being obliterated. A clear hit that made the crowd erupt as the Volcano Pokemon had almost fallen over.

"That's it, Ash! Keep it up!" Rainbow Dash cheered, flapping her wings excitedly while also feeling nervous about this entire battle considering that Gold was by far Ash's perfect equal.

"It's not like he's overpowering Gold," Roxanne replied, looking at it from an objective point of view. "They're still even in every way right now."

"Ugh..." Chrysalis bit her hoof, feeling nervous. "I rarely feel a rapid heartbeat but this is starting to drive me on the edge.

"I know that feeling." Luna agreed. "At first, I thought I saw a clear winner in all of this, but now, I'm not so sure. Should I use Xatu to see into the future perhaps?"

"That would spoil the fun, Luna," said Celestia, petting Arcanine. "Let's just keep watching a see what happens next."

"Return, Typhlosion!" Gold quickly recalled his Typhlosion. "Let's see if I can slow Lucario down...with Ampharos!" Out came Ampharos as the obvious attempt to paralyze Lucario had been made.

"Ampharos!" Ampharos returned to battle again.

"Ampharos! Thunder!"

"Ampha!" Ampharos stomped on the ground before summoning a ferocious aura of electricity around itself. "Ros!" Ampharos then allowed it to form into a frantic blast of lightning that came flying at full force.

"Here it comes! Lucario, Aura Sphere!"

"Lu...Ca!" Lucario lunged at Ampharos' Thunder, holding out an Aura Sphere. He had used the sphere as a shield, colliding it with the bolt. Lucario was now aiming to push it through as a struggle between Aura Sphere and Thunder had been initiated. "Rrr...!"

"A-Ampha!" Ampharos could be seen gaining veins, trying to overpower Aura Sphere. Lucario's legs were digging through the marble ground and his arm was trembling from this.

"Your other paw!"

"Luca!" Lucario roared, using his other paw to summon an Aura Sphere. He threw it whilst Ampharos was busy with the first one. This allowed for a free hit that Ampharos could not defend against.

"Pharos!"

"Go!"

"Lucario!" Lucario could now unleash the other Aura Sphere now that Ampharos' defence had been interrupted. The sphere broke through the bolt, crashing into Ampharos while it was still feeling the previous Aura Sphere. Another Aura Sphere blowing up in its face had caused the Light Pokemon to suffer a heavy fall.

Gold gasped as his plan to try and paralyze Lucario had failed. Mainly because Ampharos had fainted when it had fallen. "Ampharos..."

"Ampharos is unable to battle! Lucario wins!"

"Lu." Lucario got down on one knee, holding his trembling arm as the crowd went wild after that. Lucario pulled it off at the cost of a damaged arm.

"That plan didn't work out. Darn." Gold lowered his hat before returning Ampharos. "Thanks anyway, Ampharos."

"Awesome, Lucario. Return and rest for a bit." Ash brought Lucario back, allowing him to rest his arm. "It's starting to reach its peak here, but there's no need to worry! Sirfetch'd I choose you!"

"Sirfetch'd!" Up next was Sirfetch'd, entering the fray.

"Gyarados, let's go!" For Gold, Gyarados had returned to the stadium.

"Gyarados!" This battle was now truly amping up as more of their Pokemon were being sent out frequently now.

"Here goes! Bite!"

"Gyarados!" Gyarados slithered through the air with its fangs being coated in darkness.

"Keep your guard up, Sirfetch'd!"

"Sir!" Sirfetch'd held out his shield as he was allowing Gyarados to approach him. His eyes squinted as Gyarados went for his head, only for the shield to get in the way. The fangs had bit into the shield with Sirfetch'd being unharmed. Once they were deep in there, Gyarados found itself briefly stuck.

"Now! Night Slash! Pierce through!"

"Sir!" Sirfetch'd coated his leek in darkness, ready to thrust it towards Gyarados.

"Back up, Gyarados! Quick!"

"G-Gyarados!" But it was not fast enough. Its fangs ended up betraying it once they were deep inside the shield made out of leek, which was also tasty to Gyarados' mouth, Sirfetch'd struck Gyarados' underbelly, knocking the Atrocious Pokemon off as the grip on the shield had ended up with visible fang marks being left behind.

"Brutal Swing!"

"Sir!" Sirfetch'd continued its attack, swinging furiously at Gyarados with a trail of red energy.

"Aqua Tail!"

"Gyara!" Gyarados maintained aerial balance, quickly covering its tail in a veil of water before then swinging at the leek. Sirfetch'd's leek met with the tail of Gyarados with both of them being pressed onto each other. There was no back and forth as one side was trying to push through.

"Dark Pulse!"

"Gyara!" While its tail was struggling with the leek, Gyarados took this opportunity to use another move while the previous one was still active. Out of its mouth, a pulse imbued with dark thoughts had been spewed out.

"Sir?! Sir!" Sirfetch'd used his other arm to raise the shield, protecting himself against the Dark Pulse. That only ended up forcing Sirfetch'd away as Gyarados had won the close-quarters struggle with Aqua Tail slapping him away. With a hit to the side, the only good thing from Sirfetch'd's side was that Dark Pulse had been successfully blocked.

"We're ending this! Dark Pulse one more time!"

"Gya!" Gyarados showed no signs of relenting as Dark Pulse was used a second time against Sirfetch'd, who was still staggered.

"I don't think so! Detect!"

"Sir!" But even when staggered, Detect allowed him to get back on his feet as quickly as he needed to. His eyes flashed blue before then moving at a smooth yet lightning-fast speed that caused him to leave behind a trail of afterimages. Sirfetch'd ended up evading Dark Pulse, appearing to the side.

"Go! Night Slash!"

"Sirfetch'd!" Once to the side, Sirfetch'd approached with his leek being thrust forward. The darkness had even covered his entire body with the angle he was lunging at.

"Bite!"

"Gyarados!" Gyarados was ready to take another bite, but this time, without the shield getting in its way. Both Pokemon got close to each other as the auras of darkness ended up clashing. Ash and Gold closed their eyes with pure darkness emanating from this collision that blew away some rubble.

And out of this black smoke, the Pokemon to fall out of it was Sirfetch'd. He descended, still holding onto his leek and shield. But that didn't matter as it was revealed that he had fainted.

"Sirfetch'd..." But he fainted with style. Stabbing his leek onto the ground so as to not fall on his back. Instead, once the leek, lost balance, he fell forward. To him, falling on his back would be a greater impact than any.

"Sirfetch'd is unable to battle! Gyarados wins!"

"Thank you, Sirfetch'd. Return." Ash returned Sirfetch'd as he was now down another Pokemon. Just like that, Gold evened things out. Ash and Gold continue to take out one Pokemon from each side in turns it seemed. Neither has overpowered the other.

"They're both down to only three Pokemon!" Pinkie stood up. "Oooh, I love it when it comes down to just three! Even though we most see 3 on 3's a lot."

"It's getting too close now! Where's vuvuzela?! Maybe that will help!" Rarity exclaimed, searching in her bag for a vuvuzela she owned. It was her way of continuously cheering for Ash rather than just shouting.

"Leaving the Gym for this was worth it!" Candice chuckled excitedly.

"What?! Left?!" Olympia gasped. "Candice! Are you saying that you should be at the Gym at the moment?! Is that why you haven't shown up to teach others yet? Have you been doing other things?!"

"Yeah. But I still find time, just so you know." Candice wagged her finger as Red, who was always silent, leaned forward when observing how this battle continued to play out.

"Look at you, Red. It's grabbed your interest fully, hasn't it?" Brendan asked.

"..."

"His face says it for us," Twilight replied before facing the battle. "Come on, Ash. You can do this!"

"Yeah! Enough with breaking even!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Win with 3 left, okay?!"

"Pikapi. Pika-Pikachu." Pikachu spoke to Ash, wanting to jump in next.

"Hold on, buddy. Gold might expect me to have you battle Gyarados next. Just wait a bit longer, okay?" Ash replied, keeping Pikachu at bay for a bit. Indeed, Pikachu was an excellent match to counter Gyarados, but Ash knew clearly that Gold wouldn't let another one of his POkemon go down so easily. A switch would be inbound as the next Poke Ball had been selected. "Now! Dragonite, I choose you!"

"Dragonite!" Dragonite had returned to the stadium. She was still paralyzed after Tyranitar's Thunder Punch, making her movements slightly delayed along with constant twitching.

"Come back, Gyarados." Gold made a quick switch-in for his next Pokemon. Ash was thinking on the spot on how to approach Gold next depending on which Pokemon shows up. "Tyranitar! Go!"

"Tyranitar!" Tyranitar had also come back as it and Dragonite were about to face off once more. Sand Stream made its reappearance as well with Tyranitar's return.

Everyone's voices were being raised to the maximum with all of their cheering. Flurry Heart was lucky to catch the battle at this time. Sombra scrunched his face, hoping for Ash to gain a victory. Anthophilia felt like crying if Ash would potentially lose, only for Chrysalis to calm her down.

Rarity blew her vuvuzela to continue cheering as she wasn't the only one. Since Pokemon Battles were the equivalent to sports, many would bring instruments Somepony were even using drums and other instruments. Roxie saw this as she finally had a reason to play her guitar, which made her fairly happy.

Brawly rapidly drank his energy juice in the heat of this battle. Some were even eating their snacks nervously with many rooting for Ash. And while Gold didn't have many supporters considering he was relatively new to everyone, he was still being cheered on for his efforts.

"Let's do this! Dragon Claw!"

"Dragonite!" Dragonite crossed her arms before separating them to summon the energy of Dragon Claw.

"Thunder Punch!"

"Ty!" Tyranitar did the same only to have electricity form around its arms. The two big-bodied Pokemon had approached each other to pick up where they left off. Dragonite ended up using Dragon Claw to catch Tyranitar's Thunder Punch, holding its arm in place. "Ranitar?!"

"Rrrr!" Once Tyranitar's hand been held, Dragonite took this opportunity to swing at it from the side, giving it a good slap. But the Dragon Pokemon did not stop there. She had then used both claws, swiping them in unison to form an x-shape that had knocked the Armor Pokemon back.

"Stone Edge!"

"Tyranitar!" Tyranitar didn't slide back too far due to its heavy endurance as it had stomped on the ground, summoning large blue crystals that sproute rapidly as if they were growing trees.

"Hyper Beam!"

"Dragonite!" Dragonite held her breath building up Infinity Energy before releasing it onto the crystals. The beam managed to block the crystals from getting any further, obliterating them. But at the cost of Dragonite needing to recharge.

"Now! Stone Edge one more time!"

"Ranitar!" Tyranitar took this chance to land a super-effective hit on Dragonite, summoning those crystals yet again beating down on Dragonite while she was recharging.

"D-Dra!" Dragonite cried out after being whipped and pummeled by this crystals. But in that instance, she had managed to finish recharging. She had suddenly grabbed the stones with her claws, ripping them to shreds.

"Now! Draco Meteor!"

"Dragonite!" Dragonite formed multiple purple-glowing meteors in the sky, shifting the clouds themselves. The clouds started swirling, turning purple in the process before they gathered in one spot. She then waved her arms downwards, causing the meteors to rain down in vast numbers.

"That's way more Draco Meteors than I've ever seen!" Gold gasped. "Quick! Use Giga Impact to charge through!"

"Tyranitar!" Apart from Eartquake, Tyranitar used its next strongest most that it had at its disposal. By covering itself in Infinity Energy, it had shot itself upwards, leaving behind a massive trail of invisible energy before approaching the meteors.

The Armor Pokemon came face to face with those meteor, managing to break through some of them when going upwards. Its strength was truly showing as it was fighting back against the meteors.

"Go! Hyper Beam! Add it on!"

"Drago...Nite!" Dragonite added Hyper Beam into the fray whilst the meteors were still forming, aiming to overwhelm Tyranitar. Tyranitar moved past the meteors, still taking damage as it felt the ferocious impacts from the attack. But even so, it managed ot breakthrough and reach Dragonite. Hyper Beam and Giga Impact collided, resulting in a devastating paroxysm. This blew the clouds away. along with the rest of the meteors in the process.

Everyone's hair, coats, tails, hats and all other things started blowing in the wind once it all came through. Some even closed their eyes or ears for this. Out of this cloud of smoke, a singular Pokemon could be seen falling out. That was Tyranitar. Meanwhile, Dragonite's eyes glowed perfectly within the smoke to demonstrate her intimidation factor.

Tyranitar crashed into the marble ground as the winner of that aerial collision had been decided. From taking many meteors and a Hyper Beam up close, Tyranitar had fainted.

"Tyranitar..."

"Tyranitar is unable to battle! Dragonite wins!"

"Awesome! You did it, Dragonite!" Ash pumped his fist to the air.

"Dra..." Dragonite breathed in and out, looking at her fainted opponent. And right after she realized she had won, she first smiled before then closing her eyes. With a smile on her face, Dragonite had dropped to the ground. In reality, she had fainted too.

The Sand Stream was responsible for that as it had ended the second Tyranitar fainted. But it certainly left an impact on Dragonite as now she was down and out as well. "Dragonite..."

"Dragonite is unable to battle!"

Ash and Gold returned Dragonite and Tyranitar, thanking them for a well fought battle. A double knockout was a win in their eyes as neither Pokemon would let their opponent go so easy. Now, both were down to two Pokemon. As always, they evened things out again.

"This time, it's Gyarados again!" Gold had sent Gyarados back into the stadium.

"Gyarados!"

"Now's our chance, buddy." Ash looked at Pikachu. "Let's get some licks in before it's late."

"Pikachu!" Pikachu nodded in understanding before running forward. It was his time now. Hearts were beating fast as no one had ever seen Ash in such an equal spot with an opponent before. Especially a full 6-on-6 battle.

"Let's finish this in one shot!" Ash's eyes flared. He was aiming to take out Gyarados with a single hit and nothing more. Pikachu's red sacs flared as he was of the same approach.

"As if I'm gonna let that happen! Dragon Dance!"

"Gyarados!" To increase the chances of it not being hit, Gyarados had boosted its attack and especially its speed. Ash did not intervene at all, he waited for a bit before taking his chance.

"Now, Dark Pulse!"

"Let's go! Makeshift Volt Tackle!" Ash found his chance.

"Pika!" Pikachu had first used Quick Attack, moving at lightning speeds. But to add onto Quick Attack, he had also used Thunderbolt on himself, creating a duplicate Volt Tackle in the process. He moved at even greater speeds at Gyarados, who was charging up a Dark Pulse.

But the speed that Pikachu travelled at surpassed Gyarados as he crashed into the Atrocious Pokemon. Once he connected, the electricity rampantly spread, bursting into the air and covering the entirety of Gyarados. A direct hit that interrupted Dark Pulse and even completely negated the Atrocious Pokemon's speed increase with Pikachu's superior speed. Gyarados went tumbling down, laying on its side. Indeed, Ash pulled off what he had stated.

One shot. Gyarados was down and out.

"Gyarados..."

"Gyaraos is unable to battle! Pikachu wins!"

"Pikachu." Pikachu sat down, sighing for a bit.

"Great stuff, Pikachu!"

"Pika!"

"Just one more..." Spike was raily biting his tails off with Deino doing the same to his other claw. "Should've brought some gems to eat for this..."

"Thanks, Gyarados. Return." Gyarados had been brought back by Gold as he adjusted his hat. "Well, it's come down to this. Typhlosion. I'm counting on you." Gold held out his final Poke Ball. "But thanks for this battle from start to soon finish, Ash!"

"Typhlosion!"

"No problem, Gold! Let's go! Quick Attack!"

"Pika! Pika-Pika-Pika!" Along came Pikachu, moving at lightning speeds as always.

"Aerial Ace!"

"Ty!" But doing the same was Typhlosion who approached the smaller Pokemon. Pikachu passed by Typhlosion, evading his arm swing with Aerial Ace. "Ty?"

"Pikachu!" Pikachu then zoomed upwards, tackling Typhlosion's head in the process. He got the first hit, only for Typhlosion to retaliate with its other arm, knocking Pikachu aside. "Pika! Pi...!" Pikachu growled, sliding on the ground as the Quick Attack and Aerial Ace exchanged had ended.

"Extrasensory!"

"Typhlo!" Typhlosion leaned forward, releasing mental waves that originated from its senses as they even managed to pick up some rubble along the way.

"Counter Shield, quick!"

"Pika!" Pikachu had an answer to this. He had gotten on his back, using Thunderbolt which was shot into the air. The Mouse Pokemon then started spinning, summoning a frantic whip of electricity. The Counter Shield successfully pushed back the waves while also shocking Typhlosion in the process.

"T-Ty!"

"Yes! Now, use Electroweb!"

"Pika!" Pikachu got off his back, rolling on the ground before then lighting his tail up. Out of his tail, he had thrown a ball which had soon transformed into a web. That web ended up landing on Typhlosion mid-stagger. With that, Typhlosion's speed had been cut.

"This won't hold us! Eruption!"

"Typhlo...Sion!" Typhloison had blown away the web with ease, causing a massive eruption from its body. The web had been incinerated in the process with the force of Eruption even spreading far enough to reach Pikachu. Eruption worked well when the user has already taken substantial damage, meaning it was stronger than before and could potentially keep getting stronger.

"P-Pi!" Pikachu slid back from this aggressive heat.

"Focus Blast!"

"Typhlohsion!" After blowing away the web, Typhlosion held a ball of mental energy which had been summoned from its hands. That ball was then thrown, blitzing through hthe ground.

"Thunderbolt!"

"Pika...Chuuu!" Countering this was Pikachu's Thunderbolt. The bolt of 100,000 volts met with the mental sphere, cancelling each other out.

"Aerial Ace!"

"Ty!" Typhlosion moved through the smoke swifty, despite its cut speed. It appeared in front of Pikachu, successfully connecting Aerial Ace. Not once, but three times in a row. First with a frontal hit, then to the side, essentially slapping Pikachu twice.

"P-Pika!" Pikachu cried out as he was propelled like a slingshot. The Electric-Type grimanced before sticking his tail on the ground to recover himself. Pikachu looked up at Typhlosion as that Aerial Ace almost made him feel winded. Pikachu was starting to feel the toll of this battle now, however, that direct contact with Pikachu came with a cost for Typhlosion.

Static.

"T-Typhlosion!" Typhlosion staggere as not only did Electroweb bog it down a bit, but Static had also kicked in. The one ability that is rare to see happen when battling against Ash's Pikachu, but it still exists despite its rarity. Pikachu smirked, glad that Static was his go-to ability.

"Heh!" They never see the Static coming" Ash chuckled. "Return, Pikachu."

"Pika? Pikachu" Pikachu ran back to Ash, taking a break. Ash could see that Pikachu needed some time to catch his breath.

"Typhlosion's slowed down. So let's hit it hard." Ash held out his last Poke Ball as well. "Lucario! I choose you!"

"Lucario!"

"Let's go! Force Palm!"

"Luca!" Lucario rushed in as he would be the one to pick up where Pikachu left off. And Pikachu certainly left behind something great for him.

"Focus Blast!"

"Typhlo...!" Typhlosion attempted to form Focus Blast. However, paralysis kicked in, making it unable to move for that instance, granting Lucario a free hit. Square in the chest too, enough to make Typhlosion's eyes almost bulge out.

"Let 'em have it!"

"Rrrr!" Lucario didn't stop there. He started using Force Palm in consecutive recession, continuing to target Typhlosion's chest. Typhlosion felt this flurry of Force Palm before eventually being forced back.

"Aura Sphere!"

"Luca!" Lucario would then follow up with Aura Sphere, forming the sphere of concentrated Aura, launching it at the bogged down Volcano Pokemon.

"Here we go!" Gold titled his hat. "Check out our full force Eruption!"

"Ty!" This was where Eruption benefited. WIth all of this damage that it had taken, Typhlosion's Eruption was at a colossal level. With its eyes flaring red, the Volcano Pokemon's entire body started glowing. As if it was a bomb, Typhlosion had unleashed a massive explosion of eruptive flames from its body. Powerful enough to break past Lucario's Aura Sphere entirely and powerful enough to reach him.

"Rrr?!" Lucario put up his arms to try and block this wave of fire, but the force of it was too colossal as its heat was even being felt across the stadium. Lucario had been engulfed by the flames with Ash holding onto his hat. "R-Rrrr...!"

"Lucario! Reversal inside of it!"

"Luca...!" But Lucario had a move equal to Eruption. Within the fury of the flames, he had covered himself in an orange glow, releasing that built up energy to try and push Eruption back. And the result was a flaming explosion that emerged afterwards.

Whie Lucario did manage to get Reversal off, even sending some of it in Typhlosion's direction which made the Volcano Pokemon stagger while parts of the flames had been dispered, Eruption proved to have been stronger in this instance as Lucario had fallen.

"Lucario..."

"Lucario is unable to battle! Typholosion wins!"

"Phew." Gold wiped the sweat from his forehead which was also caused by the heat. "Eruption always gets crazy at the last second. Hang in there, Typhlosion."

"Ty."

"You did good, Lucario. Rest up." Ash returned Lucario as now he was down to his last Pokemon. As much as many idn't want it to happen, Ash and Gold evened out at the end of the day. Ash and Gold then looked at each other before smiling.

After smiling, the two of them started laughing. A sign that they thoroughly enjoyed this battle ever since it began. To them, this is was the best form of Pokemon Battling. Pure fun.

"It all comes down to this." Olympia said. "Don't start passing out now, my little pony."

"Not right now?" Rarity uttered, holding her vuvuzela. She felt like passing out from all of this and th heat certainly didn't help. The CMC were starting to shuder too, knowing that this was the be all end all round. Sombra could be seen being visibly trembling while Flurry Heart was nodding her head in absolute excitement.

As for Red, he saw that Ash and Gold were having fun throughout all of this. And to him, that was all that mattered. Red could now have a smile on his face.

"Pikachu! Let's finish this!"

"Pikachu!" Pikachu returned, ready to put an end to this battle. Typhlosion as well. They eyed each other down, waiting for the commands of their trainers.

"Aerial Ace!"

"Typhlo!" Typhlosion went first this time, zooming in Pikachu's direction. However, Pikachu still had the speed advantage, especially with Electroweb and Static being put into the picture.

"Iron Tail!"

"Chu...Pika!" Once Typhlosion approached, Pikachu met its claws with Iron Tail. They had reached an impasse before Pikachu had descended. Typhlosion swung its arm downwards, only for Pikachu to swing his tail upwards. Iron Tail and Aerial Ace once more with Pikachu pushing Typhlosion's arm away.

"Quick Attack!"

"Pika!" Pikachu then tackled Typhlosion's chest by swapping from Iron Tail to Quick Attack.

"Grab him!"

"T-Typhlosion!" But even after that connection to the stomach, Typholosion managed to grab Pikachu by the tail. The Volcan Pokemon now had Pikachu in its grasp, holding the Mouse Pokemon in place.

"Pika?!"

"Eruption!"

"Typhlo...!" Typhosion started glowing red again, ready to explode with pure heat as even this heat was starting to harm Pikachu's tail. This one Eruption could be the curtain call in the eyes of many.

"Pikachu! Thunderbot in its mouth!"

"Pika...Chuuu!" A daring move, but one that fit Ash perfectly. Pikachu may be restrained, but his usage of Electric attacks was not. From his body, he unleashed 100,000 volts into the open mouth of Typhlsion. Everyone gasped at this shocking sight as Typhlosion was especially caught off guard as it got a fill of lightning.

"T-Ty?!" Typhlosion coughed as Eruption had been cancelled out with the bolts of Thunderbolt imploding inside of it. Its grip on Pikachu ended up Pikachu breaking free. Typhlosion's mouth was now smoking with bolts flowing through within its body and even reaching the outside.

Pikachu backed away as Typhlosion fell on its back, completely overwhelmed. After something like that, why wouldn't it? And with such a devastating blow to the insides, the result had been made.

Typhlosion had fainted.

"Typhlosion..."

"Typhlosion is unable to battle! Pikachu wins! Thus, the victor of this battle is Ash!"

"Alright! Pikachu we did it!" Ash held his arms out with Pikachu running over to hug his best friend.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu went into Ash's loving arms, giving him a slight shock afterwards. The last cheer roared through the stadium after Ash's victory.

"Using Thunderbolt inside of its mouth" Twilight was stunned by what she had seen "...That's just unpleasant. But such an Ash approach."

"That's one way to win. And win's a win!" Rainbow Dash gave a beaming grin.

"Yeah, Ash! Way to go!" PInkie Pie bellowed as even her voice wasn't enough to overpower the applaud of the crowd. Those who were massive fans of Ash were the most thrilled about this.

"Yes!" Sombra was surprisingly elated about this. Flurry Heart scrunched her face, startling from his outburst. "Haha! Excellent work, boy!"

"Done in via the mouth..." Gold shook his head before smiling, walking over to his ace. "At least I know it's a weakpoint for Typhlosion. Thanks a bunch, buddy."

"Typhlosion."

"Amazing! Is this what will happen in the future with that whole Equestria League?!" Chrysalis asked.

"It is. You'll be seeing similar battles such as these when the league comes around." Celestia confirmed. "Probably just as big or smaller but still thrilling."

"And there is my potential victory and becoming the Equestria Champion to look forward to." said Luna, intervening to boost herself.

"Thanks for the battle, Ash." Gold approached. "Didn't see that mouth thing coming. Or at any time, honestly. That's the most fun I've had since when I battled Cynthia for the first time."

"Fun for me too! Had me on the edge there." Ash chuckled. "But I'm glad to know I still have more ways to go if there are trainers out there in otherworlds that are as strong as you." They shook hands, respecting each other afterwards.

"Guess that's that." Brendan stood up. "We're one here."

"Mmm." Olympia and many others stood up as this battle being over meant that they could all now leave. "I hope you've all learned from this battle as to make the Equestria League just as thrilling. A great Pokemon Battle must always be a sight for the eyes."

"I've learned something for sure!" Rainbow Dash flew up. "Maybe I should go for the mouth some more when I'm battling! Yeah, that could work!"

"Not exactly what she meant but sure. I guess that approach works on some Pokemon." Roxanne shrugged. It was all over. What a battle. Definitely one to remember in Equestria's history between two Pokemon Trainers from different universes.

Afterwards, the afternoon sun could be seen radiating its orange glow. Many could be seen leaving the stadium, returning to their homes promptly.

"So, where are ya headed next, Gold?" Ash asked.

"Ah, me and Red are still gonna check out the rest of this world." Gold replied. "Brendan. Are you coming along?"

"I'm heading back to my world but...I'll definitely come over here. Steven asked me to see what I can find here so I'll be doing just that from time to time." said the Hoenn Trainer. "Next time, I want a big battle. Maybe for laughs, I'll bring along the Pikachu your parallel self sent me, Ash."

"Looking forward to that when it comes around."

"Hey. Do you think one of your friends could battle me one day?" Rainbow Dash requested.

"And me?" Chiming in was also Spike.

"Sure-Sure." Brendan waved his hands. "I've never seen you all battle anyway so that'll be fun. Anyway, gotta go! See ya!" Off went Brendan, returning to the gateway he originally came from. Ash and his friends would soon separate from Gold too in the process, going their own ways.

As the journey continues.
