//------------------------------// // Aim to be a Crunch Master // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Ponyville. Twilight's Castle. Day. It's been about a week ever since the rescue of Jade Skies and Premium Polish from the Indigo Alliance and Empress Twilight Sparkle. Life returned to normal with some new additions. Jade being revealed as a Rift Pony and Skyblue Shine heading off to discover herself for a while. Aside from that, everything returned to normal for now. At the moment, Jade was in Twilight's Castle, wanting to see how she could use Rift Magic. Possibly, it works the same way as the pegasi in Pegalysium. Using magic via their wings. Helping her in this endeavour was Cold Colt himself. "So does it come out of my wings like in Pegalysium?" Jade asked. "Well...Not sure." Twilight shrugged. "I mean, you were made a pegasus and so was Obsidian before he decided to become a unicorn. So it has to be used somehow without a horn." "Flap your wings!" Pinkie Pie, who was also here had blurted out. "Maybe that will work!" Following the advice of her friend, Jade flapped her wings, trying to see if she could bring out some Rift Magic perhaps. But as Jade was practising with her friends, all of Twilight and Spike's Pokemon were having morning breakfast. Spike fed his Dragon-Types their personal favourites. And when they have their personal favourites in front of them, they eat like maniacs. However, Spike noticed someone missing from the group. "Hm? Where's Deino"? Spike noticed. He looked at Deino's Poke Ball which was open. The Irate Pokemon was here a minute ago and then up and vanished suddenly. However, her location was soon found out once Twilight went over to grab a book at her library. To see what other ways ponies use magic. Whether it's horns, hooves or wings. But as she got there, something shocked her. "Aaaaaaaaaah!" "Twilight! What is it!? What happened?!" Starlight immediately rushed into the room along with Spike, Cold Colt, Jade and every other Pokemon within the castle. What they saw shocked them as well. But not as much as Twilight. Deino had been found. But doing something much to Twilight's dismay. She had chewed on the books in Twilight's library. A good amount of them. She had her idea of a morning breakfast as many pages and covers were scattered on the floor. Ripped up with drool on them as Deino swallowed some paper. "My books!" Twilight cried out, getting on her knees. Her heart sank, witnessing this life-crushing sight. "Dei?" The Irate Pokemon tilted her head, facing her friends. "D-Deino?" Spike stuttered. "W-What did you do?" "Deino." "She ate them, that's what!" Twilight rushed over, picking up the remaining books off the floor. "Please not something super important! Please, please!" "Dei." Deino walked over to Spike with an innocent grin. Although, she wasn't so innocent right now considering the collateral damage done to the library. "Eugh..." Starlight grimaced. "This isn't so pretty." "No, it's not!" Twilight bellowed before turning to face Spike and Deino with her eyes glowing red. "Spike!" "T-Twilight! Spike put his hands out. "I know what you're gonna say and I'm sorry on Deino's behalf! I guess she was hungry for something else. I'm super sorry for what happened to your books! I won't let Deino do it again!" "Deino." "At least there are copies over at Canterlot..." Twilight sighed. "Nothing too important had been touched by it. Just keep Deino on your eye, okay?" "Got it. Come on, Deino. You know those books are important to Twilight." Spike faced his partner while Deino burped out some paper. "Dei." Afterwards, Deino walked off as if nothing had happened. Spike followed her, just to make sure nothing like this happens again to Twilight's library. But the next target wasn't in the castle or library. Carousel Boutique. Over at Carousel Boutique, many ponies had shown up for one reason. Mainly younger ones with their parents. Rarity had made pony-sized clothes and hats based on Ash's clothes. All three of them. The first clothes that Rarity made him along with the first hat and the second hat plus gloves. The new clothes were also there with the new hat too. Being that many were fans of Ash, especially the Ash Ketchum Fanclub located below Ponyville, they came here in a heartbeat. "Have a look at this. These clothes also come in different colours. Do some look familiar to you?" She demonstrated the array of clothes that had unique colours to them. Not just blue. Not only did they have unique colours, but some of them also had the theme of the rest of Ash's friends. There was one that had Twilight's colours, Rarity's colours, Spike's colours, Rainbow Dash's colours etc. The hats also had the Cutie Marks of everypony for extra detail. Rarity went above and beyond for this. Her craft has certainly improved. But she also had assistance from the many Leavanny here. "Pheromosa." Pheromosa tried on some of the clothes. Unfortunately, she was too tall to fit on them so the hat looked tiny on her head. "And don't worry. All of these also have Leavanny's strings, so they are nigh-indestructible. Just don't get too careless, alright?" "Uh...Ms Rarity." A colt called for Rarity, grabbing her attention. "Why is that Pokemon eating the clothes?" "Eating the-" Rarity faced the direction the colt was pointing his hoof at. Soon, she saw a horrific sight that was on par with what Twilight had seen earlier. Deino was chewing on her clothes. Just now, with almost absolute silence, Deino had entered here and taken a bite out of multiple clothes easily. Not even the hard fabric of Leavanny's strings could escape her bite as the floor was now a mess. From the new clothes to the old ones, Deino ate them anyway with some of them having holes in them. Pieces of fabric littered the floor too. "Aaaaaaaah!" Rarity also got on her knees like Twilight, screeching. "M-My hard work!" "Deino!" Spike burst into the boutique, spotting Deino's new snack. "This again?!" "Spike! What is the meaning of this?!" Rarity pulled her mane as she started hyperventilating. Pheromosa picked up Rarity to try and calm her down. "Sorry, Rarity!" Spike quickly held Deino. "Really! I am! Deino, again? You came here for this? Why?" "Dei-Dei." "Mosa." Pheromosa cheered Rarity up, showing her that most of the clothes were still intact. Especially the Ash ones. Only the hats were really damaged. "Pheromo." "I know Pheromosa. Those are fine but...My dress for the Grand Galloping Gala this year!" Rarity wept, holding her gala dress. It was a victim of Deino's snacking, unfortunately. "Oooh...Deino!" "Uh...!" Spike started panicking as he could sense Rarity's emotions shifting. "Look! The same thing happened with Twilight today. Deino ate some of her books. I don't know why she's doing this today. She's always eaten normally!" "Deino." "Deino. I was kinder to you earlier since it was the first time but a second time?" Spike turned to the Irate Pokemon with a disappointed face. "What's with you today?" "Uh...Should we come back another time?" A mare asked. "No! It's fine!" Rarity bellowed before holding her ripped clothes close to her. "Browse and purchase as much as you want. Sweetie Belle, Pheromosa and the Leavanny will take care of things here. As for me...I have to go remake this and weep for a bit." She whimpered as Pheromosa dashed towards Rarity's room. "Wait, I don't know how to run a shop!" Sweetie Belle cried out as Spike carried Deino, walking slowly out of the boutique. "Sorry again, Rarity!" He cried until he was outside. "Deino. Why?" "Deino." Deino sat down, acting innocent as always. Spike gave a sigh before holding out his Poke Ball. "Maybe just stay inside the Poke Ball for a bit, okay?" Spike suggested as the Irate Pokemon had been recalled. Spike pinched the middle of his eyes after all that had transpired. "I can maybe help Rarity fix her dress. Yeah!" Spike quickly ran back inside of the boutique to try and cheer Rarity up, hoping to avoid any further destruction of clothes and accessories. He wasn't sure why Deino was suddenly going on an eating spree, eating things that she normally never devours. Books and clothes. And it was hard to tell how the Irate Pokemon was feeling due to her never-changing expression. Spike was hoping that this was only a one-time thing and nothing more. But as he made he entered the boutique, by her own will, Deino had forced herself out of her Poke Ball. She ended up outside of the boutique. "Hm?" Spike heard the sound of a Poke Ball being opened, even though he had done nothing. He then looked at his bag, spotting for anything unusual. And he sure did find something unusual. Deino's Poke Ball was open. "Deino?! Oh no..." He swiftly turned around to see that Deino was already on the run. This time, She was heading in the direction of Sweet Apple Acres. Spike face palmed before chasing after Deino. Unfortunately, Spike was not faster than Deino. Pokemon are naturally faster after all. Immediately, he had lost her. But thanks to Axew, he could track down her scent. Dragon noses are sensitive after all. "Ugh...Come on, Axew!" Sweet Apple Acres. "Oh..." Applejack yawned as she got up later than she usually does. She was only 2 hours late for her usual schedule. But as she woke up, she was greeted with a surprising sight. "Golett!" Golett appeared, holding up breakfast for the earth pony. "Golett?" Applejack uttered, squinting her tired eyes. The Automaton Pokemon had a plate of breakfast for Applejack to give out. The Ground-Ghost-Type placed the breakfast tray on the bed for Applejack to eat. Her personal favourites were in the mix. "Lett!" "D-Did you do this?" Applejack's jaw dropped after witnessing the food in front of her. Golett shook its head before pointing towards the door. Apple Bloom was the one who made it as she raised her hoof. "Guilty! I got pretty good at something like that when I was making curry back at the Pokemon Festival, ya know. Golett just wanted to bring it over." "Golett!" "Thanks. Nice job, you two." "Gole!" "Oh. You should also kinda see this. Something's happening outside, sis." "What's happening?" Curious, Applejack paused her morning breakfast to check out the events transpiring outside. And once she got out of bed, reaching the outside, she was greeted with a terrible sight. So did Sceptile, Big Mac and Granny Smith. Deino had devoured most of the orchard in just 3 minutes. Not just the apples, but the trees as well. She had used Head Smash to rattle the trees, causing the apples to fall while using Dragon Rush to rapidly move across the area. That would explain how she did it so quickly as many devoured apples laid on the ground. But more than that, she had also ripped off the trees by biting them. There were more destroyed trees than there were devoured apples as Big Mac, Sceptile and Granny Smith had seen this seconds ago. Applejack wasn't too late to the party. "W-What the...!" Applejack's eyes finished observing this sight before her instincts kicked in. She was being reminded of the Vampire Fruit Bats because of this but on a more destructive scale. At least the Vampire Fruit Bats did not destroy the trees. "Deino! What in tarnation are ya doing?!" "Deino?" The Irate Pokemon looked over. Afterwards, Deino went over to take a bite out of what seemed to be another apple. But once her teeth were about to sink into it, the Dark-Dragon-Type was met with a Rollout that had knocked her back. "Dei!" That wasn't an apple. It was one of the many Applin living in Sweet Apple Acres. The Applin clearly wasn't happy about all of this and how Deino was ready to chomp on it. "App! Applin!" Applin berated its fellow Dragon-Type with a flurry of words. "Deino." But Deino didn't seem to care that much. Irritated, Applin took out its anger towards Deino. The Apple Core Pokemon had used Rollout again, spinning rapidly towards the Irate Pokemon. A Pokemon Battle had been initiated. "Dei?" Deino tilted her head before having Applin crash into her. "No!" "Pplin!" After crashing into its fellow Dragon-Type, the Grass-Dragon-Type used Rollout once more. And with the attack gaining greater power. "Dei...No!" But as Applin approached, Deino retaliated with a Head Smash. One smash of her head and the Apple Core Pokemon was sent flying like a rocket into the far distance. "Aaaaaappliiiiiiiin!" "Deino." Deino then went back to what she was doing as Machamp quickly ran after Applin to try and save it. The other Applin had seen this attack on their brethren as they all started approaching Deino. "Machamp!" "See." Apple Bloom spoke while Sceptile went over to Deino. "Just a minute ago it started doing this." "Tile! Sceptile!" Sceptile got in front of Deino and in the way of the Applin. He knew things would escalate with what had just happened. "Scep-Scep!" "App! Applin!" All the Applin ranted with the equivalent force of an angry mod, directing their anger towards the Dark-Dragon-Type. "Deino!" Along came Applejack, sliding over with Golett riding on her back. "What's up with this?!" She then showed the Irate Pokemon the destruction she had caused. "Applejack! Hold on!" Along came Spike, riding n the back of his partner who had just transformed into a Haxorus. A Unovan one instead of the Equestrian one. "Spike. Mind telling me why your partner's done...this!" Applejack showcased the carnage as Deino started walking off as if nothing happened. "Haxo." But this time, Haxorus had grabbed her, making sure that the Irate Pokemon wouldn't go anywhere. "Dei?" "Sorry. It's kinda been happening today so far First he ate some of Twilight's books, then some of Rarity's dressed and now...trees?" "And apples too." Applejack picked up an apple. "The Applin ain't too happy about all of this. They love living in the trees. And the barrels too but mostly trees." "I know, I know." Spike nodded. "Sorry about this, Applin. But I don't get what's up with Deino today. I know she's kinda rowdy but like this!" "Is she super hungry?" Apple Bloom came over. "We can give her some of Applejack's breakfast if she-" "Uh, let's not do that." Applejack quickly interrupted Apple Bloom. She loved the way that breakfast looked and would rather perish than lose it. "Spike. Did ya feed her?" "I was gonna feed her like all of my other Pokemon. But she just keeps eating other stuff on purpose. I'm not sure what's wrong with her. It can't be that she's just hungry can it?" "Maybe the Pokedex has something." Apple Bloom quickly took out her Pokedex, reading Deino's entry. "Deino. The Irate Pokemon. It tends to bite everything, and it is not a picky eater. Approaching it carelessly is dangerous. They cannot see, so they tackle and bite to learn about their surroundings. Their bodies are covered in wounds. If it likes what it tastes, it will commit the associated scent to memory." "That sounds like it, right?" Apple Bloom said. "If she can't help biting everything then that's probably what it is." "Well yeah, Deino do bite everything but...it's usually anything food-related they bite." Spike shrugged. "You should've seen her last month. She ate all of the food in Pinkie Pie's fridge in one night. Mew wasn't too happy about that one." "Deino." "Well...Check up on Fluttershy. Maybe she knows what's up." Applejack recommended. "But she's helping up with cleanup here. The whole orchard's a mess now." "Got it. Deino will totally clean all of this mess up. I'll help too. Right, Deino?" "Dei." Deino sat down with her tongue out. It was hard to tell if it was a yes or no answer. Spike sighed as Deino was giving him a lot of trouble right now. Trouble that he did not want. The Pokemon House. Day. After helping clear up the destroyed trees at Sweet Apple Acres with Spike and the rest of his Pokemon helping out, they had shown up at the Pokemon House to get some answers. There, Ash was currently playing Rock Paper Scissors with some of the Pokemon. They had their reason for partaking in this game. Most likely a bet or deal. Aside from that, Fluttershy had heard the words from Spike as she gave this response. "So, she won't stop eating other things, no matter what?" Spike said. "Yeah. I'm getting worried. I know the Pokedex says Deino eat anything but I thought it was just food." Spike rubbed the back of his head. "Deino." "It is just food. But there's probably something beyond Deino's reason for this." Fluttershy went up to the Irate Pokemon who was already aiming to chew off bits of the Pokemon House. "Deino." "Dei?" Deino turned to Fluttershy. "Can you tell me why you've been eating things like books, clothes and trees currently?" "Dei. Deino-Dei. Deino." Instantly, the Irate Pokemon explained herself to Fluttershy. Her reasoning for this small and seemingly soon-to-be-large scale consumption. Fluttershy nodded as she also had her eyes widen. The words that Deino were saying were truly stunning to her. Shame that Spike could not understand, otherwise this issue would have been solved long ago. "Oh my..." "What? What did she say?" Spike asked. "Apparently, Deino's been practising. Practising to have the best possible Crunch ever." Fluttershy translated. "Crunch?" Spike narrowed his eyes before Ash walked over, winning the Rock Paper Scissors game. "Wait, like the Pokemon Move? Is that what this is about?" "Mhm." Fluttershy nodded. "I think what she means is that she wants her Crunch to be better than any other Crunch. From any other Pokemon too. Ash. You know what I mean, right?" "Yeah. Just like how Farfetch'd's training to be a Leek Master, the best Leek User out there. Sounds like Deino's going for the same thing. But with Crunch." Ash replied. "That's a major plus. Especially when she becomes a Hydreigon. Boy, do they know how to bite." "Pikachu." "Oooh, so that's why you started chewing on everything." Spike turned to his partner. "And the trees were the hardest so far, right?" "Dei-Dei," Deino admitted with a nod. She did want to perfect her Crunch craft. Actually, she doesn't even know Crunch yet. All she knows is Head Smash, Dragon Rush and Focus Energy. "Well, if that's the case then...sure. We can do that. If you want the best Crunch ever I can help you. Just uh...ask me first before you go biting randomly, okay?" Spike pleaded to the Irate Pokemon. "Deino." "Well help too. Guessing that Deino wants to bite on the hardest stuff she can find. She bit on trees, didn't she?" Ash kneeled to get to Spike and Deino's level. "We'll have you Aim to be a Crunch Master. "No need to worry." Fluttershy raised her hoof. "I know exactly what she can bite on. Well, mostly Zecora does. And it's a bonus that Deino doesn't have any teeth." "You said it'll be even better when she becomes a Hydreigon, right Ash? Is Hydreigon's biting power that strong?" Spike asked. "It sure is. I mean, it's got three mouths and it's a Dragon? Why wouldn't it be tough? But I bet she'll have more than any other Hydreigon, no...any other Pokemon in the world!" Ash spread his arms out as Spike liked the sound of that. He gave an approving nod with a wide grin. "Nice. Nice. Then let's get started! Deino, you-" As he turned to face his partner, he found out that Deino had wandered off to bite something. That something being the walls of the Pokemon House as she was gnawing on the bricks. She had no teeth to sink through. Then again, even if she did have teeth, they wouldn't go through either way. "Deino. Deino." "Uh..." Spike zoned out for a bit. "She really goes for the tougher ones first? So, what should we have her bite?" "Ta-dah!" Fluttershy dug into her saddlebag, pulling out a metal feather. More importantly, a Skarmory Feather. "Here. A Skarmory Feather. They're made of steel so they're naturally hard." "She can also try biting on a diamond." Ash had something of his own to test Deino's gnawing capabilities. "Those are tough for sure." "Pika-Pika." "Yeah. You're right. Let's start small. I wanna see if Deino can break..." The baby dragon started examining the area, looking for the first thing that Deino could gnaw on. "Uhh...Not much, huh?" "I've got it!" Just then, Ash and Pikachu had an idea in sync. "Pikachu!" Pikachu leapt off Ash's shoulder, hardening his tail as he had formed Iron Tail, landing in front of Spike. "Pika. Pika-Pikachu." "Hey, Deino!" Ash called out for the Irate Pokemon. "Try biting on Pikachu's Iron Tail!" "Pika!" "Seriously?!" Spike gasped. "I-Is that safe?" "It'll be fine. Pikachu's Iron Tail can clash with the toughest attacks, ya know." "Pika-Pika." "Dei? Deino." Accepting Ash's offer, the Irate Pokemon went over to Pikachu to sink her non-existent teeth in. Pikachu wiggled his tail in front of Deino, tempting her even more. "Deino!" Deino took one big bite on Pikachu's Iron Tail without wasting any time. Upon contact, Pikachu felt nothing due to Iron Tail's hardness. Deino kept biting on his tail to learn Crunch as soon as she could. And each time she bit it, Pikachu's tail remained unharmed. A good start. Deino showed that she was capable of biting iron With that, they could increase the hardness scales. Fluttershy took out the Skarmory Feather in her saddlebag, giving it for Deino to chew on. The Irtae Pokemon gnawed on the feather without wasting any time. Still, she hadn't learned Crunch yet. As she chewed on it, Deino attempted to swallow the feather too, finding it tasty. "Deino, no!" Fluttershy gasped, stopping Deino before she could swallow the feather. A quick and effective save. Next, they tried their hands and hooves on a couple more objects. Ash and Pikachu had gathered many objects after asking the residents of Ponyville if they could borrow some. Thankfully, some of these objects were either outdated or were on the verge of being thrown out and useless. Deino had many options of the hardest materials here. Steel tables, plastic boxes, a used game device that Button Mash had no further use for, a ceramic vase, a tossed out marble tile floor and more. She got to work, biting on all of them at the same time instead of going up a level. She wanted to make sure her Crunch could shatter anything. Even counter anything thrown at her. That way, when she becomes a Hydreigon with three mouths, she'll see herself as unstoppable. Arriving here were Twilight, Applejack and Rarity who were a bit bummed out after what happened today. They came here to let their Pokemon hang out with the rest of the Pokemon as usual. But as they showed up, they saw Deino's biting spree continue with more objects. "Oh, no, not again!" Twilight gasped. "Oh! Twilight!" Spike turned to face Twilight and the others. "I know it looks bad but trust us. This is all intentional!" "Axew!" "It is?" Applejack said. "Yeah. Still super sorry about what happened today. But turns out, Deino's just trying to learn Crunch. Not only that but the best Crunch in the world." Spike explained. "...That's what this is about? For a Pokemon move?" Rarity squinted her eyes. "I suppose so, but she could've told us first." "Deino!" Deino had then ripped apart the plastic boxes in half. An impressive feat considering how tough plastic can be. And as soon as she ripped the plastic in half, something happened to Deino. She had suddenly summoned a yellow aura shaped like a set of teeth in front of her. After summoning it, Deino bit down on the steel tables, shattering them. "No!" "Oh!" Spike and the others gasped. "Is that Crunch?!" He quickly took out his Pokedex to see Deino's updated moveset. "Deino. The Irate Pokemon. Headbutt. Dragon Rush. Head Smash. Crunch!" "Score!" Spike jumped for joy. "You learned Crunch, Deino! Isn't that awesome?!" "Dei-Dei." Deino nodded as she bit on more objects with her newly discovered moves. "Well, at least she got what she wanted," Twilight spoke. "How long do you think it'll take before she can perfect her Crunch?" "Not sure." Fluttershy shook her head. "When she evolves, she'll have a greater biting power as a Zweilous with two heads. And triple that with Hydreigon's strength. But to crush anything in the world would be tough. It would probably take a year to master." "Then we'll just shorten it to a few months by working harder," said Ash. "Pikachu." "No. Deino." Deino then went up to Ash and Pikachu, requesting something from them. Ash kneeled to face Deino as the Irate Pokemon jumped up and down. "It sounds like she wants to test her new move with a battle." Fluttershy translated. "She said she also wants to counter moves by biting?" "Counter moves by biting?" Spike turned to Fluttershy then Deino. "Is that even possible?" "Sure is." Ash nodded in confirmation. "Let's do it, Spike. Deino. I've got some moves you can try and break." "Deino!" It was settled. Spike and Deino would have a short battle with Ash to test out Crunch's current capabilities. Ash had his Lucario and Gengar out for this. Both Trainers stood on opposite sides of a Pokemon Battlefield. The Pokemon House did receive some upgrades and a field for Pokemon to battle in was one of them. This area could be found in the Fighting-Type section. "Okay, try biting on a Shadow Ball to stop it!" Ash suggested. "Okay!" Spike exclaimed. "Get ready, Deino." "Dei-Dei!" "Gengar, use Shadow Ball!" "Gen...!" The Shadow Pokemon put its hands together, forming a blob of shadows before tossing it at Deino. "Deino, use Crunch!" "Dei...!" Deino held out her mouth, summoning the yellow aura of Crunch. Once Shadow Ball came close, the Irate Pokemon gnawed on the purple and black ball. Upon contact, she was hoping to crush it. And for a moment she managed to squeeze Shadow Ball as everyone stared in surprise. But, it didn't last as Shadow Ball broke the yellow aura, hitting Deino anyway. "Dei!" "Oh! Deino!" Spike gasped as Deino slid back. "So close. It looked like it was gonna break with all that squeezing." "That just means she's got the potential to do it." Ash encouraged. "Let's try that again. Shadow Ball one more time!" "Gengar!" Again, Gengar hurled another for Deino. The Dark-Dragon-Type stomped her hooves on the ground, summoning the yellow aura of teeth as she was determined to shatter and counter the blob. Crunch connected with Shadow Ball, squeezing it once more. This time, with a prolonged duration. Deino stood firmly on the ground, making sure not to lose her balance. "D-Dei...!" She put more effort into her body, attempting to break her limits. And by forcing her body to work harder, the Irate Pokemon managed to crush Shadow Ball until it blew up in her face via a black and purple explosion. Success. Deino managed to counter her first Pokemon move by biting n it. "Alright! You did it, Deino!" Spike cheered along with the others. Despite what had happened with them today with how Deino chewed on their stuff, they encouraged the Irate Pokemon anyway. "Sweet. Now, let's try another move." Ash said. "Lucario! Aura Sphere!" "Lu...Ca!" Lucario put his hands together, forming a sphere of Aura as Deino was ready to bite on that one too. Before, Shadow Ball being a Ghost-Type move meant that it was weak to a Dark-Type move like Crunch. But a Fighting-Type move like Aura Sphere could be a different story as Lucario fired the sphere. "Rio!" "Deino...!" Deino formed the energy of Crunch once more, widening the yellow aura. Crunch had connected with Aura Sphere, but it lasted shorter than Shadow Ball. Aura Sphere instantly shattered the yellow aura, hitting Deino in the process. "D-Dei!" Deino went flying back from the impact of Aua Sphere as it dealt super-effective damage. the Irate Pokemon tumbled on the floor before falling on her back. "Deino! You okay?!" "That didn't last long." Rarity shook her head. "This is Ash's Lucario so it wouldn't work on the first try. I'm not sure the second try would be as good either." Twilight replied as Deino sat up. "Dei." Deino shook her head, trying to shrug off the damage done to her. However, because back at Sweet Apple Acres, she took recoil damage from using Head Smash on the trees, she was very weak right now. And Aura Sphere only added to that as the Irate Pokemon started wobbling. "Deino...Dei..." "Oh, my. She looks tired." Fluttershy went up. "Maybe she should get some proper rest before continuing, don't you think?" "Yeah. Sounds good to me. Let's try later, okay, Deino?" Spike suggested as Ash recalled Gengar and Lucario. "Deino." Deino took some time to heal with Fluttershy and Audino doing so. At the same time, the Irate Pokemon was having some lunch. But without using Crunch for it. "Hey, Deino." Spike sat next to his partner. "You know, when we get to the Equestria League, we'll show everyone just how strong your Crunch is. Not only will it be the best in the world, but when you evolve, we'll make sure you're the best Hydreigon out there. How does that sound?" "Dei-Deino." Deino could get behind that. She wanted to be a Hydreigon badly. Plus also wanting the best Crunch possible. While eating her food and being healed, Deino accidentally bit on Audino's hand. "A-Audino!" Audino scrunched her face, pulling her hand back as she cried out. "Oh! Are you okay, Audi!" Fluttershy gasped, looking at her partner's bitten hand. "Sorry!" Spike put his hands together, apologizing on Deino's behalf yet again on this day. Deino gave out a chuckle as even though it was on accident, being cheeky was a part of her. She may be clueless most of the time, but Deino sure is a Pokemon that knows what she's doing. Even if she's rough and brash with it. But aside from that, training went on. The practice for the best Crunch in the world went on with Spike's friends assisting. Deino's quest for the best Crunch was far from over as the journey continues. Chapter 547 End.
