//------------------------------// // Time Rewritten // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Pegalysium. Lulolum Island. Morning. As if nothing had happened, morning had come. All was calm and peaceful within the skies of Pegalysium even after the flash of light that came from the Clock Door, enveloping the entire nation and its many sky islands. Opening her eyes and feeling an odd sense of adrenaline through her body was Fluttershy. She gasped for a bit, gazing at the fresh new atmosphere. "W-What happened?!" She uttered as she was still standing next to Thunder Stamp and the Unown. Speaking of the Unown, they had cast a barrier of light energy around Fluttershy and Thunder Stamp, shielding them from the expansive light the moment it came their way. Afterwards, the Unown lowered the light once the flash had ended. Fluttershy and Thunder Stamp found themselves outside of the building and right near the more nature-themed part of Lulolum Island. They were within a forest section of the island, just close to the town. Mainly the town that can be seen by everyone instead of the one that was hidden from all. "Thank you for protecting us, Unown. But what was that light?" Fluttershy wondered. "And when did it become daytime all of a sudden?" Not only that, but everypony was going on about their day as if nothing had happened. Despite how last night, there was a huge Unown attack along with everything being in shambles, starting with the destroyed hotel. In fact, the hotel was back in one piece. Everything was healthy and fine from the looks of it. Thunder Stamp was also the first to notice this rapid change in scenery. Not just with how it instantly became daytime, but with how certain things seemed new. He nudged Fluttershy, bringing her attention to the change. Fluttershy soon noticed how the entire city of Lulolum Island, the full scope of it from both sides, could be seen. The mirror side was finally out in the open instead of being hidden. And the main building that used to be the Indigo Alliance's hideout was now known as something bigger. "The Indigo Union?!" Fluttershy gasped. Indeed, now it was a union that everypony knew about. Whether they were part of the union or not. Gone was the alliance. Fluttershy continued to spectate the rest of the town in the distance, noticing how Indigo flags were now common among many houses. The hotel was still there, unchanged for the most part. But everything felt so different. It was unlike anything that Fluttershy had felt in the beginning when first coming here. To gain the answers, the Unown would do so. The Unown had recalled everything, including the flash. To communicate with Fluttershy and Thunder Stamp, they had used electromagnetic waves to do so. Soon, Fluttershy and Thunder Stamp had received it, gaining knowledge that would've been lost due to what had caused the flash of light, but thanks to the grand power of the Unown, that was not the case. Not only did they speak to them through electromagnetic waves, but they also used their power to show them both visages of what led to it. Fluttershy had seen the flash of light coming directly from the Sky Monarch. The point of view had been focused onto another Unown that was there at the time, witnessing Second Wind entering the Clock Door. She and Thunder Stamp got to see a glimpse of what Second Wind had changed. Mainly with an image involving King Paramount, Queen Luminary and Shooting Star respectively. And after the light emerged, the view of time being altered was something new that Fluttershy had never seen before. Afterwards, the vision ended there as the further parts of it proved to be too overwhelming for Fluttershy and Thunder Stamp to see. "She changed time?!" Fluttershy bellowed, pulling her mane. Panic ensued. She started flying around, realizing how vast this issue was for all of Pegalysium. "Thunder!" Fluttershy grabbed Thunder Stamp by the face, startling him. "We have to do something! I have to find my friends first!" "Mmm!" Thunder Stamp flinched after having his face grabbed. He then realized with time being altered, familiar locations would have been changed too. The burly pony then thought about the images that Unown had shown him and Fluttershy carefully. They only showed them what Second Wind had done to the royal family. In fact, unlike many others, Thunder Stamp could remember Shooting Star's name. And his status. "Hmmm..." He then looked at the Unown, realizing this was their doing. The Unown managed to keep the memories of Shooting Star's true history intact for these two unlike everypony else who began forgetting his status and couldn't even say his name before forgetting all about him. Thunder Stamp then looked at Fluttershy, knowing where to go next. His grunting and facial expressions allowed Fluttershy to understand. They were heading somewhere else for the meanwhile. "Big Sky? Okay. I just hope that I can find Audi and the others still..." Fluttershy sighed as it was off to Big Sky now within this altered timeline. Outside Pegalysium. Day. They weren't the only ones who were unaffected by the timeline change. The light only affected those within Pegalysium. And thankfully, Celestia and the others were free from that as the forcefield essentially saved them due to how much they were struggling to get through it. It took them a while, but after blinking, they soon noticed the change in scenery. Morning had come and nightfall was long gone. "S-Sister...When did you raise the sun?" Luna asked. "I didn't." Celestia shook her head. "When did you lower the moon?" "I certainly didn't." Luna denied that as well. Neither of them had controlled the sun and moon as of late. In fact, it wouldn't be hours until they did so. But it felt as if those hours had passed by in a flash. And together, the alicorn sisters realized that it did pass by in an actual flash. Figuratively and literally. "That light!" They shouted in unison. "Oh, my eyes..." Twilight rubbed her eyes. "Are we still going to push through?" "Without a doubt, yes." Luna nodded. "This situation could be larger than we expect if daytime has already come. It was nightfall just a second ago. Something happened in Pegalysium that must've changed the time. And that light is a good indication of that." "Then, let's continue. Everyone, focus on that same spot once more." Instead of pondering any longer, Celestia ordered everyone to keep doing what they were doing before. Attacking the same spot to create a dent. Even if a different time had come along, they wouldn't stop until they passed through to Pegalysium. Twilight meanwhile still wanted answers. As did a few. But those answers might not come to her immediately. Not until the forcefield was broken through. Pegalysium Capital. Sky Monarch. Day. The place where the flash originated from. Straight through the Clock Door. However, the door was now fully closed as it had already been used. Much like Lulolum and presumably everywhere else, everything was peaceful. Residents of the capital went on with their day, living their rich and luxurious lifestyles. Except that something was new. Not new to them but certainly fresh in appearance. Not from the outside. That all looked familiar. But rather the inside. Waking up with his eyes flashing was Tip-off. He gasped once his eyes had opened, causing him to feel winded. Despite how the flash had affected everypony in Pegalyisum, Tip-off still felt some rebound from the previous event. Granted, it was only a rebound and there was no recollection of his memories at the moment, but the feeling was perplexing to the mind. "Oh goodness..." Tip-off groaned, holding his head. Afterwards, once his eyes were fully open, he could see his surroundings. And he was graced with the royal throne room. However, the appearance of it was incredibly different. Massive braziers half enclosing each of the ten soapstone columns lit up the entire throne hall and blanketed everything in a warm yet eerie glow. The intricate indigo patterns on the embowed ceiling dance in the flickering light while statues of pegasi looked down upon the marble floor of this royal hall. An indigo rug splits part of the room in half from the throne to midway down the hall while embattled banners with golden trimmings drape from the walls. Between each banner stands a large candlestick, they've all been lit and in turn illuminate the statue of a certain singular pony. Thick, stained glass windows depicting important moments of victory in the past were hidden by drapes coloured the same carmine as the banners. The curtains have been adorned with gilded linings and emblazoned edges. A grand throne of Dynasite sat beneath an almost entirely close baldachin canopy and was adjoined by nothing else. The throne was covered in layered motifs that all had the symbol of the Indigo Alliance. "You look out of it, Tip-off. Is something wrong?" The voice of a mare spoke to the befuddled Royal Advisor. A voice that was far too familiar and far too threatening to the ears. "Oh, sorry, your majesty. It's just that the throne room looks..." Tip-off had replied before realizing whose voice that was. The Royal Advisor quickly turned around to see the ruler of Pegalysium sitting on the throne. Not two rulers but one ruler and only one throne as opposed to the second one that was there before. And sitting on it was Second Wind. Although, there was something different about her. Apart from the regalia she wore, she appeared much taller than before. Taller than Queen Luminary and practically the same height as King Paramount and arguably Princess Celestia. A radical change from her average pony height. Now, the former Grand Judge of the Indigo Alliance had become the Ruler of Pegalysium. The sole Ruler with nopony else by her side. "Uh..." Tip-off looked dumbfounded. He felt as if something was awry when looking at Second Win. But he blinked for a moment with his mind returning to normal. "Ah, pardon me. I feel a bit off for some reason." "That so? Well, take a rest then. I won't be needing anything at the moment." Second Wind ordered. "Y-Yes, um..." He paused his sentence before then resuming it. "Grand Queen!" He then left the room, leaving Second Wind on her lonesome. Nopony else was within this room aside from the guards who were stationed outside. They were the closest. Once she was alone, Second Wind took the time to get comfortable on the seat. Despite it being made out of Dynasite, it had a comfortable sinking feeling to it. Seconds passed with absolute silence. But that silence was broken up once Second Wind started laughing. "Hahahaha! Success!" She screamed, succeeding in her goal. "I've done it. Something that no other previous Grand Judge could achieve. I suppose I'm the best of this generation. And possibly the rest." She then used her magic to bring over a drink, unable to control her laughter with how excited she was fr her resounding victory. She ended up getting what she wanted. Total control over Pegalysium. She drank from the glass before thinking about her actions that had altered time. Despite this victory, Second Wind thought beyond it. "However...I wish I didn't have such little time." Second Wind then placed the drink on a table. "I was only able to replace the King and Queen while also changing everypony's memories. Truthfully, I should've gone for something higher..." Indeed. While her goal was accomplished, Second Wind thought bigger. Mainly with the missed opportunities. She thought back to her time in the Time Dimension. Ironically, it was short-lived as she could interact with one point in time and nothing more. "I should've dealt with those at Equestria. Perhaps gone back in time to when Ash Ketchum and his friends came here. Then the major threats would've been taken out of the way. Alas. So little time can allow me to do so few things." Second Wind sighed before smirking. "But it was worth it. And speaking of Equestria..." The Grand Queen then hopped off the throne, trotting forward. RIght in front of her, a large round table had emerged, shaking the room a bit. However, this table wasn't for sitting or standing around. Second Wind stopped before the table as it had then shown a magical projection that illuminated into the fray. This projection had then showed the map of Pegalysium. All of it. This roundtable map was all Second Wind's to observe. It was never there to begin but such was the perk of an altered timeline. And even in this changed timeline, the Unown were still assisting Second Wind. They were above the ceiling, floating around the room haphazardly. The Unown had no rhyme or reason to the things they do, making them do whatever in any space that they wanted to. Even if meant being in one room the entire time. Second Wind looked at the map projection, hovering her hoof over it. She then tapped on the first location. Big Sky and pathways connected to it. There, she could see all of Big Sky for herself. Total omniscience of everywhere in Pegalysium. And there, she saw a certain pony from Equestria who was still here. Fluttershy. That alerted Second Wind immediately. "Fluttershy?! She was supposed to become a Cloven by now...How is she still roaming?" Second Wind wondered. Fluttershy was an oddity. This revelation worried Second Wind for a bit, even after her resounding victory. But then, something else caught her attention from the map. She could see that near the outskirts of Pegalysium, some rippling could be felt. Selecting the outskirts, she could see the cause of this. She saw that Celestia and her subjects from Equestria were here. And they were using their combined efforts to try and break through the forcefield. Whether it be through telekinetic control or blasts of electricity, they were doing what they could. And now, Pheromosa and the others were getting on the action. "Twilight Sparkle. Of course. And that pony over there is Celestia? Not bad." Second Wind nodded. "I'm actually jealous of her mane right there. But if they're here...they caught on quickly. But how would they have known of my actions up here?" This got Second Wind thinking. She wasn't aware of the disaster-sensing abilities that Absol and Xatu had. She sat on her throne, looking at the table and seeing Celestia and her subjects plus the Pikachu army giving it everything to push through. "This could be a problem. With Fluttershy free and them showing up here. If they were able to know about my plan...then they must know about Pegalysium's secret. Hmm..." Even after succeeding, Second Wind was already thinking of all the potential threats. And ponies from Equestria were the biggest example of this. However, another smile met with Second Wind's face as she wasn't too worried. "I suppose I shouldn't forget about the power of the Unown. They have their own sources of Rift Energy down there. Especially with Jade Skies and that one petty pony, Emerald Aura. Unown." The Unown then came to Second Wind under her command, circling the Grand Queen as they were ready to fulfil her desires as soon as possible. "Tell me...who in Equestria also possess some semblance of Rift Magic?" She requested. The Unown then sent electromagnetic waves through her head, telling her all she needed to know. And the scope of it was larger than she expected. "Desires...?" She gawked, realizing that nearly everyone in Equestria had something Rift related inside of them. And the Desires were to thank for that as there were still some lurking within many others. "So, almost the entire population. Hmm, I was hoping that it would be the important figures but...oh well. I know you all want to rid everything Rift-related in this world, don't you?" The Unown flew around rapidly, singing as they confirmed Second Wind's question. There were still some Rift anomalies here in Pegalysium, no doubt. The Symbol Pokemon could feel it. "I see...In that case, here's what we'll do. Multiply the number of Memoir Petals. Erase the memories of Twilight Sparkle and her friends from ever coming here in the first place. Afterwards, give them some time of peace...and then feel free to attack Equestria, but don't get rid of all of them. It wouldn't hurt to rule two nations now, would it?" Second Wind's new plans were now leaning towards a larger scope than an entire nation. Two nations now. The Unown would do just that. Every single Unown in Pegalysium received electromagnetic waves from the Sky Monarch. They had work to do. Altogether, they focused on one of Pegalysium's exclusive flora. The Memoir Petals. Capable of erasing memories with ease. An abundance of them would be used. Far more than there already were as Second Wind's plans were continuing to flow perfectly in motion. Feathercoast. Day. Over at Feathercoast, it was all a part of the Indigo Union. Even after the town was saved in the true timeline, it didn't stop Second Wind from meddling with the town she grew up in. And with this timeline change, Garnet was affected. Right now, she was at the Pegalysium Kindergarten, going about her normal day as a teacher day, teaching her class of rambunctious children. In her hooves, she was holding a book to them. And as if she had just woken up, the teacher blinked a few times before having her heart skip a bit for just a split second. "Ms Garnet?" One of the foals spoke, causing her to gasp. "Is something wrong?" "Oh. Uh..." Garnet paused on her words, observing the classroom. She felt both warm and cold at the same time. Her eyes locked onto the book she was reading. It was all about the adventures of a little pegasus. Nothing more. "Um, I'm fine, I just...what time is it?" "It's almost time for recess!" Another foal stood up, flailing her hooves and aiming them at the clock. "Just 15 minutes to go!" "R-Right. Recess. Recess?" Garnet was still trying to collect her thoughts. She wasn't sure what to think at the moment. All of this had her lost in a trance. She then placed the book down standing up and turning away from the children. "Uh, where are you going, Ms Garnet?" "I need to...Clear my head for a bit. Maybe it's something I ate." Garnet groaned. "You all can have an early recess. Go along." "Early recess! Woohoo!" Granted the almighty power of having an early recess, the children didn't waste this opportunity at all as they dashed out of the classroom and went straight for the playground. Once she had the room to herself, Garnet took a moment to sit and lounge. She wasn't the only one feeling this way. While the altered time had made everyone go on as if everything was normal, there were those who still felt somewhat perplexed by this. However, despite their mind going frantic, they were unable to think about what truly happened and just dismissed it as a headache or a strange adrenaline rush. The same went for Garnet. Laying on the seat, she looked outside the window to see how daytime was here. The last thing she remembered seeing was it being nightfall and a flash of light. Nothing more. Unsure if she was meant to be teaching today, Garnet chose to take a quick visit to her home. She left the kindergarten promptly as the chaotic sounds of the children erupted across the town. Back home, she wanted to grab something to eat to clear her mind. To her, that felt like the best approach. However, the moment she opened the door, something charged out. Bayleef. "Bay!" Bayleef tackled Garnet once running out of the house. But by accident, as she caught Garnet off guard. "Gah!" Garnet screamed as she fell over. She then groaned, writhing on the floor as Bayleef stood over her. "Bay! Bay-Bay!" "W-What are you...?" Garnet winced as Bayleef was shouting at her. Despite the timeline change, the memories of Pokemon remained. "Oh, right. You're a Pokemon...Bayleef, was it?" "Bay-Bay!" Bayleef then hopped off of Garnet before returning to her home. Garnet stood up, witnessing how the Leaf Pokemon had grabbed Garnet's saddlebag, bringing it over to her. "Bay!" "Wait a second. Why are you in my home?" Garnet cut to more pressing things. "Bay! Bay-Bay!" Bayleef then jumped around, spouting out words that Garnet just could not understand. Pokemon speech patterns were not her forte yet. Bayleef then ran up to Garnet, causing her to back up in fear. Bayleef had then thrown the saddlebag onto Garnet, forcing her to wear it. "What is up with you...?" A perplexed and confused Garnet questioned. "What's going on here?" Becoming alert to all of this were two guards. But upon turning around, Garnet noticed the look of the guards. For starters, they were all wearing indigo uniforms, something she had never seen before. Or so she thought. She also realized that these guards were new. "Is that a Pokemon you have with you?" The other guard asked. "This uh...This isn't mine. This is kind of a nuisance." Garnet denied as Bayleef puffed her cheeks, offended by being called a nuisance. "I don't know what it's doing." "Either way, you can't have a Pokemon here in public. We'll just take that off your hooves and give you a warning at best." The guards approached Bayleef, aiming to take her away from the town. "Bay? Bay!" Bayleef knew that was something was wrong. Much like Garnet, she had never seen guards here before. But unlike Garnet, Bayleef knew more. The Leaf Pokemon had used her vines, causing them to fly out and wrap around the two guards. "Oh!" The guards gasped before they were then thrown to the side by Bayleef's strength. They screamed after being thrown away like yesterdays' garbage. Speaking of which, they ended up crashing right into a garbage can. One of them landed inside of it while another was knocked over, alerting the citizens. "W-W-W-What did you do?!" Garnet screeched, noticed how all eyes were on her. Bayleef then wrapped her leaves around Garnet, dragging her along. "Hey!" "Bay!" Bayleef pressed on without standing around anymore. Garnet groaned, trying to pull the leaves off of her. But she certainly wasn't overpowering the vines of a Bayleef. "Garnet? What's going on?" One of Garnet's close friends, Kaleidoscope, opened her door to see her friend being dragged away. "Bayleef?" "Help!" Garnet cried out. "This Bayleef's kidnapping me! I think! Just get it off!" "Hmm...Ah!" Kaleidoscope made one of her wings snap before heading into her home. Returning from it, Kaleidoscope found herself some shears. "These'll do!" With the shears in her mouth, making her speech slightly muffled, Kaleidoscope slid on over, getting in the middle of Garnet and Bayleef's vines. With careful aim, she snapped the vines perfectly in two, severing the connection. Bayleef tripped over as Garnet fell on her back once they were split up. "Easy." Kaleidoscope tossed the shears away. "But Garnet. How come you have a Bayleef with you here? You know it's illegal to have a Pokemon." "It's not my Bayleef!" Garnet grumbled before sitting up. "It-" However, the teacher needed a moment to process Kaleidoscope's last words. "Wait. Illegal?" "Yeah. Only the Grand Queen can own Pokemon. Usually, it's those weird letter things." Kaleidoscope explained. The timeline change definitely showed itself on her as her perspective on reality had been changed. While Garnet was starting to process it, Bayleef definitely knew something was wrong. "Bay!" She gasped before rushing over to Garnet. The moment Garnet started thinking about the changed timeline, Bayleef had used one of her leaves immediately. The leaf came off, floating in Garnet's direction and touching her leg. The moment it did so, Garnet's mind came to a halt. What she tried to think about was quickly reversed. "Wait a second..." Garnet froze. "Uh, Kalei. Do you...feel weird?" "Hm? Weird like what?" Kaleidoscope tilted her head. "Weird as in...something's off? I just had the strangest feeling today." Garnet then turned to Bayleef, looking the Leaf Pokemon in the eyes. "Way off..." "It's probably those kids messing with you again. Also um...might not be the best time to be seen with Bayleef so..." Kaleidoscope, noticing that the guards were getting back up, quickly zoomed back inside of her home to make herself distant from Garnet at the moment. "Wait!" Garnet cried out as Kaleidoscope had locked her doors. Pointless to cry out now. Garnet scrunched her face, soon remembering that everypony was staring right at her. Not wanting to be seen in a different light, Garnet attempted flying away from Bayleef, only for Bayleef to sprout more vines, grabbing Garnet's tail. "Huh?!" "Bay!" Bayleef dragged Garnet off. She wasn't finished with her, much to Garnet's displeasure. Everypony steered away from Bayleef when it got close, not aiming to interact with the Pokemon in any way. The guards soon spotted Bayleef running off with Garnet, getting the garbage off of her. "What's going on?" Garnet whimpered, wanting answers as to why today felt so bizarre and why she was getting kidnapped by a Bayleef. All answers that have yet to come her way. Outside Pegalysium. Finally, after all their hard work, visible progress had been made on the forcefield. Thanks to focusing on one spot the entire time, Celestia and everyone managed to finally make that dent. And it was made with the final kick that Pheromosa landed on it. "Look! It worked!" Twilight cried out. "There's a dent in it!" "Then now is my chance!" After finding the dent, Luna capitalized on it. She couldn't let this vital moment slip away. The power of Lunar Ire was used once more as Luna now gained two red streaks on her mane. She had then created a magical manifestation of claws out of thin air. Strong and small enough to touch the dent. The magical dark blue claws made their way towards the dent, grabbing it before it could close off. Tied with Luna's own strength, they were being used to their fullest potential. And it showed. The caws started ripping the forcefield by damaging the dent. Luna had visible sweatdrops on her. But soon, all of that strain had vanished once she had finally done it. She had ripped through the dent, making a visible hole. A sizable one. "Hah..." Luna sighed once the hole had been made. "Whoever made this forcefield certainly did an amazing job. Perhaps we should try and make one as good as this someday." "Perhaps Right now, our friends are out there in Pegalysium somewhere." Celestia flew ahead. "Everyone, get ready for the worst to come." With the hole open, they could finally pass through. And now there was solid land to stand on, freeing Celestia, Luna, Passion and Darkrai from the trouble of carrying the other Pokemon. The army of Pikachu, 12 Leavanny, Raboot and Pheromosa had touched solid ground, finally feeling their legs again after minutes of floating. "Pika! Pikachu!" Immediately after landing, PikaSupreme ordered his loyal Pikachu subjects to get searching for Fluttershy, Rarity and their Pokemon. No time to waste. Especially when it felt like time had completely in a flash. Twilight then took out her Xtransceiver once more, hoping that it would work better now that she was inside Pegalysium instead of outside. "Come on...Please work." But after selecting Fluttershy's Trainer Number. Sadly, even when past the forcefield, the Xtransceiver could not reach her either. "No good..." "Strange..." Celestia stopped for a moment. "Everything seems calm all of a sudden. I would've thought there would be visible events from what Absol and Xatu described." "Yes. It's odd, isn't it?" Luna agreed, feeling that it was all too peaceful right now. "Were we too late? Or was it that light again?" "Maybe Absol can figure it out." Twilight suggested before sending Absol out. "Absol!" "Absol. Can you feel the disaster still? Is it still around?" She asked as everyone leaned in to face the Disaster Pokemon. Absol understood before letting his horn do all the work as usual. The Dark-Type closed his eyes, searching for the same disaster. And despite everything seeming calm, Absol's horn vibrated. That shaking was a good indication that all was not what it seemed. "Sol!" "So there is still a disaster going on," said Celestia. "Seems as if we might have to get close to the source. Pheromosa. You move the fastest out of everyone here. Can you grab the Pikachu and head for any of the locations? Anywhere you last saw Rarity and Fluttershy or think you might find them." "Mosa-Mosa!" Pheromosa was on it. She picked up the many Pikachu, having the length to hold a majority of them. Including PikaSupreme and PikaNoble. "Twilight. Luna. We'll go for the Sky Monarch. We might be able to get into contact with the Royal Family." As for Celestia and her group of alicorns, it was off to the Sky Monarch for them. Soon, both groups went off in different paths. Pheromosa and the Pikachu would go wherever while the princesses would fittingly head to a royal area. Pheromosa took off at the speed of sound, leaving a massive dust cloud already. Twilight, Luna and Celestia took flight, aiming to get a better look from above. However, their arrival wasn't made blind to everypony. Mainly Second Wind. Knowing of their arrival and under her command, the Unown would take things from here. By multiplying the Memoir Petals, they had then spread these mind-manipulating flowers into the air, causing them to pursue specific targets. Elsewhere, Bayleef, who had just taken Garnet, wandered off to set things right. But she wasn't the only one who had memories of what happened prior. Thanks to the three Unown on their side, Fluttershy and Thunder Stamp had something to remember and see that something was wrong. All the while, Second wind sat there, enjoying her new royal lifestyle. Total domination over all of Pegalysium as the Grand Queen. And soon, her next target was the nation that foiled her first plans in the beginning. Equestria. As the journey continues. Chapter 715 End.
