This story is a sequel to Twilight Sparkle: Night Shift

Two years after the rise and fall of Decadence, Fluttershy is trying hard to forget what was done to her that night; made all the harder by the strange behaviour of Applejack as she and her family mourn the loss of their beloved Dog, Winona.

When Trixie comes knocking at her door, telling her that Applejack is in trouble, Fluttershy will have to confront a magic even more infectious than anything Decadence put forward.

This story is a spin off/unofficial sequel to the fanfic "Night Shift" by Jawjoe. It is recommended that you read that fic first to get some basic ideas about the world, as this fic may contain spoilers for the events of Night Shift.

Jack backlash was a highschool student that doesn't have that much of anything interesting happening in his life. One day, these 'Dazzlings' show up and one of them caught his eye. She looked like a cute girl who seemed clumsy, but funny. Her name was Sonata Dusk. Ever since the battle of the bands, the dazzlings lost and were never seen again. It was a shame that he never got the chance to talk to Sonata before she and her sisters disappeared.

But it seems that luck was with him.

Three weeks later as he was walking home from work on a rainy afternoon, he heard a girl in the alleyway sobbing. As he looked into the alleyway, he was surprised to who it was. This is where his story begins…

When a patient is badly injured or in a remote location, the Great North Air Ambulance is there to provide assistance.

Sky Sweeper isn't a paramedic yet, but she's learning, and rides out with the crews.

Arcane Word has an unusual profession among Equestrian ponies: a necromancer. After a lifetime of creating characters and telling stories, she's in the perfect position to provide relief to first-generation ponies with holes in their family. For every pony unwilling to ask for Celestia's help to fill in the gaps, she is the perfect pony—she even lives in the abandoned city of Wintercrest, surrounded by appropriately spooky decor. The authenticity of her results were always secondary to the satisfaction they produced.

At least until a particularly troublesome client arrived, flush with resources from Equestria Online's distant borders and megastructure expansion. What would it take for Equestria to bring a pony back from the dead? What about everypony who had ever lived?

Arcane Word could never turn down such a tempting job. The impossibility of the task was only ever a minor setback.
