She would gladly give it all up, though, just for a chance to tell Applejack how much she loves her.

Rainbow Dash wants to ask Applejack to go out with her. The problem is that every pony seems to know her feelings EXCEPT Applejack. She enlists the help of her friends. Luckily they have their own ideas as to how to confess.
Warning: Get ready for a lot of face hoofs.
Rainbow Dash and Applejack have been friends for a long time, but their friendship took a long time to get to where it currently is. Along with this long-grown friendship are some different kind of feelings on Dash's side. Now these feelings have grown strong enough that Dash is afraid they may ruin their friendship. After things seem to go too far, Rainbow Dash decides one stormy night that it's time to explain her feelings to Applejack. Even if it means she can never take her flying again.

Rainbow Dash has been wanting to tell Applejack her true feelings for her but is to afraid to do so. Finally mustering up the courage, Rainbow Dash goes to tell Applejack how she feels but finds herself being avoided. Finally catching up to Applejack and tell her the truth. Shortly after a simple misunderstandings tears the two apart.
After a journey to get a plant for Princess Celestia's herbal studies the friendship between Rainbow Dash and Applejack becomes uncomfortable for Rainbow. Applejack doesn't know why Rainbow is acting weird but she can tell there is something wrong.
She tries to talk to her friend but she seems not willing to explain herself.

Romance story between Rainbow Dash and Applejack
Applejack and Rainbow Dash were friends for years. They shared laughter, cider, fritters, flights, phone numbers, and simply friendship for the longest time. And after all that, Rarity offhandedly makes the comment they argue like an old married couple. With that, "AppleDash" is the new couple on the block, until Dash just has to call it off. She can't explain why, or what brought her to it, but a week later, she regrets it. Three days later, Applejack's with someone new, and Dash needs to cope with her mistakes.
