Twilight wakes up with a moustache. So does Spike. So does all her friends. So does everypony in Ponyville.
What the hay? There has to be a logical explanation for this…

I am just a girl who watches and loves the show of Mlp Fim. I love to draw the ponies and other pony related fan art. I also like to write fan fictions.

April, YOH 1505 (almost 5 years after Luna's Return): Twilight Sparkle and her Companions defeated Starlight Glimmer at Our Town, and return to Ponyville. But though they are victorious, they bear battle-scars on their souls -- and they know that the mad mage is still out there, doubtless lusting for revenge. Sometimes, mere victory is not enough.
Takes place between S501-02 The Cutie Map and S5E03 "Castle, Sweet Castle."
Celestia discovers a lingering trace of Nightmare Moon's soul still lodged in Twilight's mind—a survivor of the lingering effects of the Element's magic.
Faced with the threat of gradually losing her friend to Nightmare Moon's evil influence, Celestia realizes the only way to save Twilight is to let the storm of dark magic take its course all at once.
And yet, as Nightmare Moon's corrupting magic tears away at Twilight's forgiveness and understanding, and Twilight begins dredging up unexpressed doubts once kept controlled, Celestia must face a lifetime of confrontation her student has kept covered.
It is going to be a long night for both alicorns.
This story was written for the Tenth Bimonthly Twilestia Contest. It placed somewhere.
The Mane Seven are on a mission to spread friendship across Equestria. It sounds easy enough, but should they let their guard down?
Twilight is confident that she can cope with any situation. Maybe she’s right and there really is nothing to worry about... Maybe.

Here's what the readers are saying about it:
Dude whoa.... That was powerful. It kinda reminds me of “If you love something” let it go. The type of pony that Twilight is I could imagine that losing her friends would make her go insane, and I know she'd do anything to still be with them. Great story. Mad I didn't hear about it until now. ~ Man on the Moon
Princess of Friendship by Bad Dragon is a great piece of work. ~ Stinium_Ruide
If Twilight can't find a way to save her friends, she'll make a way. And that works out about as well as one would think. ~ FanOfMostEverything
I hope Twilight can let go... eventually. ~ StormyVenture
I liked this story. It was heartbreaking, a bit confusing (in a good way), and overall enjoyable. ~ Heart Felt
it had the nerve to make me experience something you twats call “the feels,” but a nice enthusiastic walk in the woods solved that problem. ~ DR_LaZer
made me cry… ~ deli73
I cried. I didn't shed one tear, but a thousand. ~ Crystal_Chaos
Great story, definitely deserves the tragedy tag. ~ MustacheMerlin
This story really does earn it's tag as it presents a situation that cannot be won and that has no positive outcome, which is part of tragedy in it's strictest sense. ~ HapHazred
Brilliant. Both her plan and the story. ~ Unbridled Dolly
I love it when a story comes together--and I say that this one did, at least for philosophical egghead dorks. ~ Mahayro
I love the entire premise and the ending was perfect. ~ Curify - ChasingVerse

While practicing flying, Twilight looks back on the wonderful life she's lived so far, and wonders what the future holds.
Inspired by a line in Obsolescence's blog post On Being Prolific. If you haven't checked out his stuff, you probably should.
In a desperate attempt to thwart the plans of a power-hungry sorceror, Twilight Sparkle ends up displaced in time.
She finds herself in a world untouched by catastrophe of any kind. Everything turned out well in her absence, and her friends, who have missed her dearly for the last decade, are overjoyed to have her back.
Now she has a decision to make. Go to fight the foe she left behind, restoring time as it should have been, or stay and leave him be. All is well that ends well, after all. Right?
Much gratitude goes out to Sagebrush, who helped me untangle some of my messes!
In a nearly empty library, a librarian tears pages out of books and tosses them out an open window.
Twilight studies in the same library, alone.
They exchange words and a dance.
Sometimes, even hundreds of years can't change how you feel.
Twilight notices this every week.
Will she get over the tears of the past?
