My unicorn parents called me a worthless mud pony. They pushed me every day to overcome my lowly status. When I woke up one morning with my cutie mark, I thought they would love me. I couldn’t have been farther from the truth.

It was not destiny or enjoyment that led me to discover the cello and composing. My parents made that decision, deciding before I was born I would continue their family legacy of famous musicians.

They did not realize what that decision would cost them.

After Fluttershy tells Rarity of her engagement, Rarity considers the nature of love and her own happiness.

Twilight has fallen in love for the first time- with her best friend's mare. How is she coping with this? Not particularly well.

A short one-shot story as Twilight tries to deal with her feelings.

After a week of destroyed possible relationships and a week of despair, Rarity hides away in her house to try and recover her emotional stability by herself. With time and self-reflection, she may come to find the perfect match was actually not so far away.

A story of jumbled emotions and irrational bursts from one who strives to be calm and collected (though not really a sadfic). Mostly solo Rarity with a few moments of hyper-emotional thought rants, so prepare yourself dear reader.
