The problem is, they are both extremely shy ponies who barely speak out about anything. Two months have gone by and neither have been able to act on their feelings despite it being on their minds day in and day out. Is it possible for a relationship, or even just friendship to bloom if the two ponies in question are nearly incapable of voicing their thoughts and feelings?
A story of finding the courage to face your fears and make sacrifices for those you love. It's not important that you SAY how much you care. It's important that you SHOW how much you care.

After overhearing a rumor that his friendship with Fluttershy means stallions are too afraid to date her, Discord swears that he will find her the perfect mate. Unfortunately Discord has absolutely no idea what a pony wants in their special somepony. Happily, he has many pony friends now that he can ask for advice, but no matter how much advice he gets, nothing seems to go according to plan.

This is somewhat outside my usual comfort zone, I don't write a lot of comedy and I don't write a lot of Discord, but I had fun doing it, so hopefully you will have fun reading it.

Appearance is everything, especially when you're a Wonderbolt. When you live your life in the spotlight, showing vulnerability will not do. There can be no cracks in your foundation, at least that's how it feels. But learning to bring those walls down can lead to surprising, wonderful revelations—even in the intensive care ward.
For some ponies, like Captain Spitfire, something needs to shake the foundations to bring the walls tumbling down. Then, with some help from the right pony, you can be led from the rubble.
