And since I am not, in fact, entirely heartless, I do pay enough attention to help out the ones that really do need help. That said, I am spending most of my power keeping the universe from falling apart, so I can't afford to step in when there are plagues or wars, barring very specific circumstances."

I'm going to start getting worried when Sunset, in a moment of distraction, needing deputies to sort out the medium-scale stuff, starts handing out aspected special abilities to certain people. Like the Seasonal Maidens in RWBY - Vast powers and a somewhat-obscure and random inheritance process.

It suddenly occurs to me that Zeph and Starlight might be working for an equivalent of Salem that has been spontaneously created by Magic as a counter-balance for Sunset's good nature.

She has done some delegating, what with Luna handling dreams, the Crusaders guiding destiny, and others aiding the underpinnings of reality on similarly subconscious levels. That's the key word, though: Subconscious.

Also, Zeph's working for a force from outside conventional time and space. Starlight, however, is being guided by Sunset's equal and opposite. Also known as Mr. Discord.

And that is the reason I put almost all my Christian faith into the only the Ten Commandments. The Bible may have been written with the guidance of God, but I'm sure that if Jesus stood before us today, and told us to look left, some of the most devout would STILL look right.
