Rainbow Dash was dared to stick a lightbulb in her mouth?

GodzillaSpino gave RD the lightbulb.

"Hey Rainbow," Twilight a p p a r a t e d from the ground. "I invented an edible lightbulb. I dare you to try it."

"Whu--"

"As Princess of Equestria I will cancel your taxes for a year if you try it."

Rainbow Dash bit down on the decidedly not-edible lightbulb. Her taxes were completely and entirely waived for the next tax season for her troubles.

Yes, it was ultimately me who forced a lightbulb into Rainbow Dash's mouth. But to plea guilty would be false, for I feel no remorse for the consequences of my actions.

You know, I've seen all sorts of crazy and unrealistic scenarios in this... story (can it be called that anymore?), but I must say, this contains the most absurd, the most unrealistic, and the most unbelievable thing of all - that friends of the government are expected to pay their taxes.

They pay their taxes but with generous donations to the individuals who write the tax laws in exchange for looser laws and regulations on there mega-corporations. Sure this means none of it goes to public benefit so maybe taxes isn't the right word after all but that's just how the system works.
