Letters. Everyone writes them, and they're not just for ponies. Be they carriers of serious news, friendly correspondence between pen pals, or declarations of heart and heartbreak, each one is written with a clear purpose or goal in mind.

Celestia uses them to try and keep her faithful student and friends in line, and try to keep an unbalanced world on the straight and narrow.

This is much harder than it sounds.

Young Twilight is ecstatic about being enrolled in "Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns". To show her excitement, she sends a letter to her mentor along with a drawn picture expressing her joy. Though, she was completely unaware that Celestia would delve deep into her work and search for meaning in it, while involuntarily causing herself great strife.

After running away from her rival, Twilight Sparkle. Trixie hatches a plan to show just who is the more powerful mare.
Then a breezie came into her life...

When some of her friends develop a relationship after spending a few days out to solve a friendship problem, without finding any friendship problem in the first place, Twilight Sparkle start to think something is wrong with the Cutie Map. She's mostly right.
