War. Noun. (1) : a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state.

"Soldiers are always preparing to fight the previous war" is a saying that is common amongst those of military profession. Equestria has not seen a war on her own soil in several hundred years. As such, would she be prepared for when such a thing happens? Of course not.

Battling the griffons and the minotaurs has been a challenge due to lack of experience. Fortunately, her armies adapted and started to hold her own. That was, until Tirek returned and aided in the fight to defeat Equestria. To keep his friends safe, Discord successfully defeated Tirek and sealed him away. The cost of fighting Tirek? Dying. Knowing that he would die, Discord summoned several creatures to protect his friends. These creatures, never seen before in Equestria, are very familiar with the concept of war.

This world has experienced their second industrial revolution and Equestria is at war, a World War, the first this world has seen. Equestria and her citizens have a lot to learn if they want to see the end of this conflict with their culture and way of life preserved.

And I seriously don’t know why she wants to give that trash a Welcome Party. I just hope he dies violently with the new wave of violence on Ponyville.

In the aftermath of the royal wedding between Princess Cadence and Shining Armor, Queen Chrysalis and the remnants of her hive head back to the badlands to lick their wounds, as well as get revenge on the ponies who had foiled her plans.

Team Harmony, have had to deal with school life, social life, and saving Etheria from many evils, including Nightmare Moon, Discord, Lord of Chaos, and even Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings. But now, it's the start of the new school year and their ready to get back into it. New groups of mages are formed for the start of the year, but one seems to hold quite bit of attention. A team of six, each with a darkness they must overcome:
A flame that burned out of anger.
A star that faded before it was lit.
A helpful code with a destructive glitch.
A light that hides what it is from itself and from others.
A wolf betrayed by its own pack.
A gem ignored despite its value.
Join the these new mages, as they try to overcome their own inner demons, their grudge against each other, and help the Elements save Etheria from a coming darkness.

All are humanized. Pegasi(Skyborn) have ethereal wings, Earth(Gaians) have tattoos on their upper arms, Unicorns(Espers) have focus gems and marks on their lower arms. Spells are cast by hand or using magic items.
Magic is not restricted to any race, but each race has a specialty.
Gore tag for, later, graphic content.

FYI: Main 6 will have fewer parts as this revolves around another group, but they aren't completely out.
Others tag for numerous other appearances.
Modern day: there are cellphones, computers, cars, 3DS's, etc.

When a freak reading accident causes Twilight to be admitted to the Ponyville hospital, Rainbow Dash is right by her side. Compelled by a sense of duty and repayment, she takes it upon herself to cheer up her friend.

Words can hurt. Sometimes, that hurt is permanent.

One too many accidents results in a falling out between you and Rainbow Dash, the mare of your dreams, and your friendship with her lies on the brink of destruction. Twilight suggests a vacation to clear everyone's head. Could this be your last chance to make amends, or will you spend the rest of your life filled with regret?

Alternate Universe for wingless Princess Twilight. Might just change this out, because it's a pointless change, tbh. :)

This is a story I've been fantasizing about in my head for a while now. It's had some changes in its development for later chapters to make sense.

All Dante ever wanted to do was lay back, relax, and - eventually - open and run his devil hunting business. He certainly never wanted to get involved in anything regarding the fate of multiple worlds, power hungry demon lords, insane cultists, and certainly not parenthood.
