I got preapproved for a house. Now the real work begins.
Alright, its been awhile since I last saw this. I wonder how its progressed since the wedding?
*looks at latest chapter*
seven.... seven HUNDRED and seventy seven?!

poor Sukari.
And the Jackpot Chapter is a slice of life one, Bucky truly is lucky today.
I've had a pretty rough day, also, Kudzu. Spent a few hours in Dialysis. Talk about a pain in the neck.
That right there is one of the main reasons for making my OC into a pegasi, I never really agreed with the OP power of most unicorns, do to people constructing them into god-types. I am very glad that Kudz doesn't make the unicorns into god-type characters. I know they have the power and potential, but it is nice to know that the characters actually have a sense of morals.

Mang, that sounds rough. Between both of my kidneys, I've got the kidney function of one kidney. Gangrene wrecked my insides with my last infection.
Awwww Sukari the scars are a sign of a life lived, of what you have survived and they are a form of beauty in their own way. She is in no way ugly.
I'm pretty sure she could have been 2 continents away and we would have seen the same result.

That is the subtle joke, yes...
345A.M yay!some would say that getting up now when you stick to a solar schedule is unhealthy when you go to sleep at ten but i feel fine like evry time i do it.
I imagine putting Harper in a pool. Harper now has a giant mass of orange following her in the water!
I just thought of the facial muscles needed for earth ponies and pegasi to delicately manipulate brushes and other things that need great control... Wait, Derpy once cracked a walnut with both her lips...
My life is good I guess, just finished my quarterly tests with decent grades and I got a commission that needs work.
6337935 Yeah. Stuff sucks sometimes.
Bucky's solution to a pretty foals inner/outer turmoil is more kisses... I want Bucky as my dad. How do I go about getting this done?
I confess a small part of me was hoping the chapter name would have been "Chapter 777, Bucky gets Lucky"
Of course, that's the obvious joke. A little slice of life works for me too.

I'm a numbskull, we like broad strokes.
Subtlety is for unicorn snobs.
(1600 US gallon) / ((14 ') * 8 ') =
1.90972222 feet (1 foot 10 59⁄64 inches) deep. Thanks google!
To say nothing of the thermal energy needed... Well, might as well...
1600 US gallon = 6056.66 L
Specific heat of water = 4.2 kJ/(liter*degreeC)
6056.66 L *(4.2 kJ/L*degreeC) = 25438 kJ/degreeC
25.4 megajoules per degree Celsius.
This is a powerful tub for such diminutive technicolor equines.

Um, you do realise that you can buy a hot tub in this size, right? They make hot tubs in the 2000+ gallon range. They are surprisingly common and you can even buy one with 99 down and 99 a month and only pay a few thousand for one.
For a 1400 to 1600 gallon hot tub (Seats six to eight human beings if they don't mind being friendly) you only need a 11.5 kW heater to keep it warm. A common bath tub is about 200 gallons and that is how much space the average human needs to stretch out and be comfortable. (Eight humans x 200 gallons = 1600 gallon hot tub)
The original tub was much larger, but then I realised that a pony is much smaller than a human being.
6341835
I suppose that makes sense. I hadn't really thought much of hot tubs prior to this, and it tickled the part of me that enjoys running silly math problems, having just ran some calculations the other day on someone's heat cistern idea. That maintenance of heat... Hmmm....
25.4MJ/11.5kW=36.8 minutes per degree, but practice with fish tank heaters gives me the feeling maintaining temperature to be easier... But now I'm curious... Hmm... Conductive heat transfer in a semi open room, evaporative cooling, humidity levels acceptable in a bathrooms air, power output of a body.... Bugger me, I'm turning this utterly trivial point into a fun little problem. I'm sure I'll find and appreciate something else to puzzle over later, you glorious writer you.

Good tubs are insulated.
If you buy a fiberglass tub with no insulation, or a big wooden hot tub, you have to buy a much beefier heater.
A 1600 gallon tub uses a re-circulation pump to move water over an element. Earlier in the story, we get a description of the tub, and sure enough, there is a waterfall to re-circulate the water.
Once you have the insulation hot, the heating element actually turns off due to a thermostat and only comes on when needed, saving electricity.
And this is all done with practical electrical elements. We haven't even touched magic.

Right, of course, I can neglect conductive heat transfer and just focus on evaporation. Boy howdy, it's been a while since I visited those equations, this is going to be fun.
And yeah, of course magic needn't be mentioned. Though I do recall calculating from DnD sessions past that mage hand, the cantrip, can produce 33 watts, and double that in DnD5, so in a land rife with enchantments a simple magical motor can become a space heater by just rubbing against water really hard.
Thanks again for this puzzle, as trivial and inadvertent as it is.

Missing 'to'.
777! I've only got a little over 100 chapters before I catch up!
“Harpy mane heavy.” Harper tired of holding up her waterlogged curls, fell over and floated on her back. She kicked out her hind legs and closed her eyes. “Harpy better now.”
I know how that feels. When I let my hair grow out it was almost 3 feet long. Got quite heavy when wet.
