Oh, the last of all my dreams but still leave me
Yeah...Celestia had to do what she hated to be...a bitch.
Still, she pretty much compared Bucky to Chrysalis. Same focus. Bucky probably hates just a little bit more because he's still new to it. Chryssie has been around far, far longer that she no longer hates so strongly and is a bitter soul.
Bucky won't live long enough to become so empty. His family won't let him.
Yeah, if Bucky repents a little, he can shave a few millenia off his torture in Tartarus when he dies before he's allowed eternal happiness. (Problem with that, is he likes pain and while they torture, he'll be freezing over the place at the same time.) Other methods will be used, no doubt.
This chapter just gave me a HUGE flash of an idea to include into my OC's RP. The idea that the Chief can FEEL somepony in a building on fire, can tell where they are, tell where the heart of the fire is, the weakness in the wood around them as it burns.... yea, yea that could work really well.
No don't be pushing yourself too hard
Guess it makes sense for the celestai of this world to be this way.
Generally though i think celestia acts as a epace keeper. she is good at figuring out what people need or want. And she is good at figuring out how dangeorus or not an enemy is. She has to wisdom to know when to act and when to stay her hoof.
She will also burn absolute threats into ashes. All it can take is to kill just one of her ponies, doesn't matter who, what position, what age. All it can take is an act of extreme cruelty. Extremes are the trigger. Executions, extreme apthy, cruelty, genocide. Rare though they are, they are things with no toleration to them.
Even chrysalis or tirek are no such threat. Chrysalis is much of a fool herself, but mostly causing extreme pain would compromise her very existence. And not even tirek had such cruelty to him.
Basically the idea is that there are a few villains that will not be coming back. Because she feels anyone who is able to stay their hooves, not go to extremes, has the capacity for change. And those who cross that line, are dealt with. Soemthing of a mercy even. So much hate directed at them would ultimately destroy them.
Snuggles are great.
Suddenly want. . . a nap too. . .zzzzzz

I think you missed the point that he was acting. He's done this before. Quite a few times. He wasn't being cruel, he was following a plan.

Do these include notes for chapters already posted?
6820709
The notes cover everything.

Do you know how The Chase ends? Is there a final chapter in mind that you are working your way towards or are you still just chasing after it?
6820747
It ends with...
Wait, I'll let somebody answer that. Hey peeps, how does The Chase end?
6820759
I did not ask how it ended, I asked if you knew how it ended.
6820775
Of course I do. I've told people how it ends.
6820759
The Chase is about the life of one pony. Everything about the pony, from his beginnings to his death. So when the life of the pony ends so does his story. And just like life it is full of moments, this story is a collection of moments. That's why it doesn't flow with the usual story structures people are used to.
But imagine if you will all that goes into a life... from a persons birth, all the way to his death. That is a lot to keep track of. So I'd say yes there are a lot of notes.

The chase ends with a funeral!

Int score is high, but not as high as you think. Lyra, Berry Punch, and Twilight Sparkle are all much, much smarter than he is.
Bucky's primary statistic is endurance... er, constitution in D&D terms. No, his wisdom wouldn't very high, and his charisma wouldn't be great. Most of his charm comes from a magical source anyway. (Bonus points to those who can figure it out)

The Comfy Chair.
They'll put him in the Comfy Chair.
6823978
The silver torque?
Eye of Odin?
Harper?
Charm doesn't necessarily mean positive, i.e. "Oh, he's so charming I want to kiss him!"
It's really just getting someone to do what you want them to do.
So in that respect, Bucky "charms" many people, by making them so terrified that they don't dare oppose him.
6823978 <imagines the character sheet for Bucky> Holy bat bananas, that's a lot of templates!
6827242
... buck, you're right...
Meh. It still makes too much sense otherwise.

The Eye of
VecnaOdin and the passive buffs from being a vampire? Or maybe the Cloak of Thanatos?Or possibly because he's REALLY good with foals?
Maybe it's because he has Power. The fact that he threatened The Radiant Destroyer Celestia with fusing hydrogen atoms should Celestia raise him from the dead when he dies shows that he's fairly confident that he could pull that off. Still think matter/energy transmutation would be more fitting for a Transmutation specialist like Bucky

I wonder if you can transmute matter to antimatter.
