So love is all it takes to get a leniency when going to Tartarus huh? Well, unless Bucky finds a way to make his family hate him before he dies... he should be getting one hell, pun intended, of a reduced sentence. Especially when the Alicorn of Love herself is his Daughter.

This is actually a major story point, and will be addressed in the final chapter.
6219378
"Bucky. For the crimes you have committed during your life, you will spend the next several centuries confined to... The Comfy Chair!"
That albino pony scares me.
Is it a reaper or Death himself?
6219449
He is Ash Tanto.
Twilight figured out who he was. I think it was in chapter 331. Might be 330. He was there with Bucky when Bucky had to go and fetch Cadance from Tartarus.
Edit: 332!
6219458
All right, time to go back-tracking.
...
And vanpuish tyqos along the way.
I'm the only one who see something odd about Ash Tanto smiling at Sentinel? What the hell (pun intended) meant that?
6219534
Sentinel is his nephew.
6219448 Bucky: NO!!! not the Chair, anything but the Chair
And we close the Chase with the end of the war and the funeral of Gold Leaf.
>. >
Hey that would be some twist
6219540
*MASSIVE SPIT-TAKE*
Holy WHAT!?!?!
NEPHEW!?!
6219810
You haven't been paying attention I see.
Might I recommend that you reread the story, starting at chapter 1.
Edit: At least one person can't take a joke I see.
6219448
if the Comfy Chair had none of his foals or wives...
Then yes, I believe that would be a severe punishment.
6219819
"Look at the size of that thing..."
I remember now, given that Ash Tanto is a sibling of the Fates and eventually Bucky, that means that Ash Tanto is Sentinel's uncle.
6219915
Also, rearrange the letters in his name. Flash Sentry did it.
6219925
yep, Thanatos.
Kinda like Heifer what's-her-last-name is Hephestus
6219819
There, I upvoted it to balance it out.
6219709
Two more funerals coming up.
6220035
and Barly outlived them all. Ripe old age of 793. 5 million words later.
6220046
Barley is in his sixties. He's slowed down mostly by his arthritis, which makes him act old. Plus, he's lived a hard life.
Luna's perceptions are off on what elderly is. She comes from an era (1000 years ago) where a pony in their 30s was ancient. So Barley seems incredibly old to her. Speaking from an internal perspective, she's kinda in awe of him and how spry he is for his age, but this is due to her perceptions being what they are.
Compared to Granny Smith, Barley is a spring chicken.
6220057
Pretty sure Granny's at least 300 canonically. I always attributed it to eating Zap Apples out of the Everfree direct, honestly. Strange magic and all.
Twilight: This is how they wrapped up winter in Ponyville for hundreds of years!
Granny: /relates story of being part of the founding of Ponyville, including showing us that Canterlot the city proper was just a collection of market tents and likely not the nation's capitol yet
6221210
That episode is a mess... That would mean that Applejack is also several hundred years old. You can see pictures of her as a little foal with a very, very young Granny Smith wearing a sun bonnet.
It would also mean that all of Granny Smith's close relatives are also hundreds of years old, because you can see in family photo albums pictures of them all together when they are young.
The show also contradicts itself with Granny Smith, saying she was born after the founding of Ponyville, but then also saying she founded Ponyville. But if Applejack was a foal when Granny Smith was still young and smoking hot, that presents a big frickin' problem.
6221250
Exactly. The side the coin falls on is whether you want to assume which episode and which parts of which episode are in conflict and which to accept of those that are in conflict. As always with the show, if you go too deep, nothing makes sense or matches up. Stop it at surface analysis and character analysis, you can usually get cobble together something decent.
Just as easy that Granny's plain senile.
You kinda have to be to be death. No one ever benefited from a soft hearted Reaper.
6223459
You should read Discworld. Death must have a soft heart, because for many, death is mercy, and a kindness.
"Don't dawdle", I'm beginning to believe this is your most hated typo, it keeps on sneaking back in like a naughty foal and it won't be disciplined. :P
6221250 You have discovered a big problem with shows that go on for a long time, especially when written by multiple different writers. Often times smaller details like when Granny Smith was born, are not as well documented and remembered. So it's easy for a writer to make certain mistakes like that. Even more so on a show that is 60% Episodic and 40% Linear.
Also, we never have much in the way of mention of anyone dying from Old Age. So honestly, we do not really know exactly HOW old a Pony can live for. Although it DOES seem like Granny Smith has lived to be older than many. Frankly we don't know if the oldest Non-Alicorn Pony is 100 years of age or 500 years of age. So that plays a part in it as well.
Plus with Granny Smith as a character, when exactly she was born has little significance on the overall canon of the show in the Present. Instead what is MUCH more important is that Granny Smith is "Super Old", and all the jokes that have to due with her being an old and wrinkly grandmother.
Ash Tanto is a bastard. Do you think he makes typos?
