she didn't really seem evil. She isn't even actively influencing ponies, shes only influencing ones who specifically interact with her, or those who have a direct connection to her
Nope, didn't screw it up. I wonder what places she had tried this before. The idea is sound, but if those involved are being taught by their parents, who were taught by their grandparents, and so on, then it is doomed to fail.
What she would need to do is get ponies like the main 6, Bucky, Derpy and any like them, and put them where they could interact much better. That would be the only way to ensure this worked. If a small part of the generation can pass this way of thinking on, the next generation will do the same, which is what I think Celestia intends to happen.
Pound and Pumpkin Cake are going to have fun.
Also... I think Bucky's present is going to backfire. Don't know how.
4312324 seem to be the case, also trying to get the unicorns back into the herd as they have seem to diverge so far away from the other tribes. I really like where this story is going
4313524
Is that in the triple Z formation?
I had to look up esquire to double check that Buck was not in fact a lawyer. Turns out esquire has a different meaning in the UK than in the US. The things I learn reading horse words...
4312324 I think Buckys present is really to big, but he mean it good i think.
Somehow i have to think twice about the chapter, because it always seems for me that way, that Bucky always have an great interesst in Derpy.
I don´t know if he really want to date Derpy or just want to be her friend at first. I would prefer it that way if he understand his own feelings a little bit late.
4309383 Dreadful. Still unsure if the drugs have kicked in or not...
4314859
Watch out for the adrenochrome. I hear it's nasty!
4314485
That's funny, Bucky is thinking the gift is a little on the small side...
Oh Goddess, not more perspectives!
Oh, Bucky, Bucky, Bucky. He's overthinking this. Of course he is. He's got a long way to go, but at least his heart is in the right place.
If they're built into the dolls, then they're not very good secret identities, are they?
Nice touch with Rising Star becoming the mask. Keep exploring your hidden depths and one day, you're going to fall in.
As for Celestia, well, of course she's manipulative. She's an immortal god-empress, she's got to pass the time somehow.
Seriously, you did a great job with her. She's a Big Good, trying to engineer a society of understanding, unity, and yes, harmony. Social engineering on this scale is going to seem a little creepy from the wrong angle simply because of its scale, but you made her benevolence quite clear.
Looking forward to more.

The accessories are clothes that come with a doll. So it can be dressed up.
I was trying so hard to make an Indiana Jones reference too.
I want that on my credit card.
Another great chapter!
ok, you are a talented writer good sir.
And I'm hooked.
i think no matter how you write plans for celestia they will always come out as sounding manipulative because shes always trying to force things upon her subjects and there too nice to not do as she says and the way she always works things into her way never a compromise its always her way thats why luna is best princess
4430272 why? I've got nothing against Luna, in fact I love Wittle Woona. I just don't get why some people are so sure of her superiority. I love both the sisters equally.
And I think your looking at her actions the wrong way, she isn't the average mortal, she's an immortal godlike figure with an complete motherly disposition to all her subjects, she she's all ponies as her children, and a mother always does things that she thinks are best.
Its kind of ironic that this conversation is occurring in a story that is essentially about seeing things from another's viewpoint.
4522674 You know what? Check that about Celestia. She's an NT. Probably an ENTJ, but I honestly can't say at this point.
'Mistakes had to BE made . . . ' spelling error close to the end of the chapter.
"This is why I never go out any more. Life is entirely too confusing."
This is me in a nutshell, literally
I love how you have created a character with whom I can relate to on at least a few levels that haven't really been explored in other fanfictions
I suppose the alternative could have been:
"All right, you little shits. You're going to all get along and sing songs and be happy around each other, or else I'll just tell Discord he can make it chocolate rain all over your whiney little faces! Tough love is my bitch!"
...too much?
4808631 you sir. Scare the muffins out of me.

I believe derpy got them
and it had a train that was large enough to foals to ride winding through the display areas
Twilight rose the challenge
wondering if she was going to far
1. Err... Change it to For Foals, sounds much smoother in my opinion.
2. Twilight rose to the challenge. Unless she actually physically rose it, then that would be impressive.
3. Too.
42, duh
What troubled him was, sometimes Sparkler’s verbal outbursts made him think actual deep thoughts, thoughts that scared him. Thoughts about life, the meaning of life, and the purpose of his own life.
Knowing what I now know, I started laughing so hard, I rolled from the middle of a queen size bed, off into the floor, and stayed there for five minutes trying to get the humor out without agitating my asthma.
Oh no, Bucky did something wrong. Onwards!
Hmm... so Ponyville was a little pet project of hers? that's interesting, always explains its name 8'D
I think the gift Bucky got for Dinky was nice, it doesn't matter what it is, it's the thought that counts...
Right?
Nice job!
YAY! 1% of the way through!
Do you even know how long this is going to go for by the way?
So overall: there is vast misunderstandings between the 3 tribes after living together for 1000 years, despite the fact that 200 years ago we had members of all 3 tribes, not to mention a kangaroo, living in cramped quarters on airships with seemingly no cultural misunderstandings whatsoever?
6763707 all the years! :D
6763800 mainland vs pirates. pirates already throw away social norms by being pirates, also consider how long rye took to settle in with the crew
Ya know it kinda sounded manipulative (to me)
And the entire time i imagined a filly celestia saying "Good..... Good........" While reading the letter
Like that giant roach on family guy
Or funnier yet like whispering to herself "ship all the ponies..." While hiding under a desk
This would be part of his problem possibly, too much pride in his ancestry & trying to live up to it instead of pride in himself.
7074659 I think at this point he at least thinks and wants to believe that all the titles and ancestry are unimportant drivel drilled into him by his parents, but he still cannot help but think of them as important. I think that deep down he really hates how much of him is his parent's influence. I believe this is displayed by his eagerness to understand the other tribes and his alienation to other unicorns (who act and think much like his parents) as portrayed in this chapter.
I might be seeing things though, idk.
Are you kidding? Celestia's Canon has ALWAYS made her rather Aloof and Manipulative. "Oh just go make friends. You don't need to worry about this prophecy about Nightmare Moon". I mean seriously!
Hell look at Celestia in Equestria GIrls "I won't tell you a damn thing about this place beyond the Mirror, but I will say that you will soon learn more than I do. What is it that I know about this place? WHO KNOWS!!"
Huh, I just realized that the way Bucky is dealing with his own kind and learning how to enjoy the baser parts of life is similar to how I feel about my fellow intellectuals. I grew up trying my best to be an intellectual in a family with a food scientist and a mathematician for parents, surrounded by books and educational opportunities. I thought people who went for parties, sports, and fornicating were just acting like beasts. Then I went to college and met some very amazing people who invited me in to experience the physical side of life. It was severe culture shock, going from WASP to muzhik. Before I knew it, however, I found my own educated WASPy sort to be pretty unbearable and had come to love the men I would have described as brutish idiots not even a year prior. Very well done on the story so far.
...
... aww that's depressing...

I told my grandma one day when i was a kid. I don't care for my grandpa because. I never met him I hear he was not a kind or caring person. So why would want to fallow in his foot steps. I going to make my own path, If i make your son a grandpa I'm going to tale my kids to make there own path.
