Wait. They Killed a Demon Lord of Wrath? ... God Damn it. They killed fucking Amon. Now how the hell is Yuri going to have the power needed to kill Rasputin and Asmodeaus. Cookie to whoever gets the reference.
O love these chapters where Bucky lets loose and does what he does best. It warms the cockles of me 'eart, it does.
Sweet, we killed an Arch Demon of stage.

Guess what sealed off the entrance and made the necromantic magic suddenly go away. Go on...
Celestia is no fool. I imagine she already had a solution in the works for Bucky's affliction. I remember her discussing it with someone somewhere in the past. Plus the fact that it was probably the only way out of this situation without drinking Sunset.
6444849
Figured that wasn't Alu-bucky.
I suppose with the Solar Pony out of the way we were able to cut loose and go full on Shadowbolt?
Because we had Sunset AND Bucky there earlier and we got routed.
Nifty chapter. Albeit part of me wonders something. Doesn't feeding on the fear and hate of other beings potentially allow possession from the dead? It is taking in the energies of another into the body, opening the door.
Also just thought back, rather randomly, on your windigos...... Why is it that so many people decide to make them something other than what they were depicted as in the show? Show had them as hatred manifested in the form of winter elmentals. Everyone seems to want them to be anything but that.
6444898
Sunset creates light.
That's all I'm saying. Shadowbolts do not work as well in the light.
Also now almost 800 chapters..... How large do you think it will be when its done? O.o

In that we typically burst into flame, go blind, or lose the vast majority of our powers.
I caught on something bad was going to be happening to her when Bucky, and you kept telling us that Sunset was their best weapon against the undead.
If Bucky's armor, spell jars, airships, body, and other inventions are any indicator, then Sunset was bound for some bad times. Because as War, Bucky tends to break his toys, or have those he plays with break them.
6444929
I hope to be dead in the ground by the time that happens.
*large intake of breath* WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Oh please, darn fool crystalcorn. Celestia won't abandon Bucky over this. Heck, there's probably some way to siphon off excess corrupted nature locked away inside the tower. No self-respecting anti-hero dark wizard magi-scientist would neglect to make one.
Not thrilled about Bucky giving in. He should've just passed on and ruined everyone's plans.
6445063
And what of Sunset?
A teacher has an obligation to protect their student.
6445066
Considering everything went batshit right about that time, the distraction would have probably kept her alive.
6445073
For how long? Drugged, helpless, unable to fight back?
6445081
As I said, considering everything was going batshit, the cultists would have more pressing things to worry about. Long enough for the shadowbolts to reach her, potentially.
6445140
And how would Bucky know this so it would influence his decision making processes?
6445169
Mmm. Fair point. I still think he shouldn't have fed though and simply passed on. That's just my two cents.
6445103
Reference is from a game. Second game in a 3 part series.
Go shadowbolts! Slaying a demon lord couldn't have been easy.
6444929 Don't you mean when will the chase mantle pass from Bucky to sentinel?
6445174 the most anticlimactic ending for the Chase ever. From my understanding, Bucky killing Goldenstar not only revitalized him and awoke his vampiric nature, it also gave him the strength to steal the necromantic magic from the unicorns, thus causing the shit to hit the fan. I'm pretty sure the unicorns had full control up until bucky fed, so if he had died, sunset wold have been screwed. That or I completely missed what happened.
6445463
Bucky was not the cause of the necromantic magic vanishing.
Necromantic spells are grant through demons. If something happens to said demon, the magic vanishes. Other demons aren't obligated to answer the call.
So, when necromatic magic suddenly began to fail, one needs to examine the situation as a whole; It happened as Bucky was recovering, and the Shadowbolts mention that they killed Wrath.
6445568 ah, so it was just a coincidence of timing. Ok
Also, I am surprised that nobody has asked me where Fever Cure and Mask where during the gathering at the end.
I totes thought it was Blueblood that Bucky ate until he was named later.
He strikes me as the kind of douche nozzle that would tempt type 1's and 2's into a Necrocult.
Though the fact that Bucky was openly dismissive of the magically neutered type 1's and 2's when entering his Vampiric Limit Break makes me ponder if the Taint isn't just BACK but BACK IN FORCE. Sombra was also very dismissive of anyone he perceived as weak towards the later half of his reign. . .
6445594 you can never assume where the spies are. It's a good way to end up with a knife in the back
This line just.......
6446891
Yes?
6446915
Just was not expecting it but it was pretty amazing lol
"MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Fear my evil! I'll lean right down to your mouth while trying to convince you to vampire someone! ....Did I have a plan?"
Hey! Here's the chapter with the explanation of vampirism and such!
... And the other vampires are totally not the redeemable sort.
Pity. Then they burn.
I think you mean "Enunciation" here, Annunciation is a real word, but it's the name of a Christian celebration based around the Archangel Gabriel informing (or announcing, haha I'm not funny) to the Virgin Mary that she would conceive Christ. Enunciation is the art of properly pronouncing words.
