'they are like'?
6036186
Fixed.
Om nom nom nom... Love bell
Hmmm so the weird crystal ponies like the one he faced before are just holding parts of sombra? or are they just acting as like batteries. Still Sunset shimmer, I could see her beating Sombra.
6036330
They hold a part of Sombra and Sombra holds a part of them.
6036345 Ah. so a form of Mutualism. I take it hes gotta remove all of them to weaken Sombra then?
6036350
What was said in the chapter?
Killing Sombra should kill them. They're psuedo-liches.
6036367 Ah. Must have misread it. Interesting concept though.
Bucky talons make the best chew toys, One out of one kelpie foals agrees.
6036480
A bad state of affairs for minotaurs, diamond dogs, and any humans who might be in Equestria. Kelpie foals think fingers are delicious and chewy.
6036490
I was tempted to say something about finger food, but I feel that would be silly.
6036573
Finger sandwiches.
It's coming isn't it? The future comes closer and closer to the present.
I think sentinel will fit with a eye patch. Like nick fury, it only adds to the badass.
6036367
So they're living phylacteries, and he's... THEIR phylactery?
6036616
Sort of. Think of it as a leech attaching itself to a host creature. The leech gets to live, sucking some life out of the host. In exchange, the host gets superpowers.
6036623
Actually I kinda like the doubled-up phylactery idea. Sounds like some bullshit I'd pull in a D&D game. Change the people into crystal so they're technically an object...
Yoink. My DM's gonna hate me. ... More than she already does, really.
6036689
My notes have them explained and reasoned out as golems of a sort. Crystal golems. Thier flesh has been transmuted into a crystalline form. Not exactly ponies anymore.
So yes... in a sense, they are objects. Not exactly alive, not exactly dead, not exactly undead, but animated extensions of Sombra's will.
And dangerous. Did I mention that they are dangerous?
6037179
If you inhale a pegasus fart, it will give you a squeaky voice.
6036689
I did that to a player's adamantine sword, see it specifically says that adamantine has a crystaline structure, so when he was tricked into finishing a liches creation rites I made his SWORD the phylactry not the big showy crystal that was obviously there and hard to move or hide.
He's gonna be reeeeeally mad later when he has to destroy he trusty, game breaking as hell, sword that he's toted along the whole campaign.

My first character, a paladin, ended up befriending an incubus PC who'd been trapped in shadow form inside of a theatrical mask by his master Orcus. Weird, I know, but the paladin was a good influence on him. Turned out that the epic lich that'd been harassing us the entire campaign had half of his phylactery invested in that mask, and the other half in the friggin' Wand of Orcus, as we're approaching Tenebrous who's trying to resurrect himself/Orcus.
Pain in the ass, let me tell you. Your player is going to hate you. If that is the goal, more power to you! DM originally had it written that the only way to undo the Lich's phylacteries and defeat Tenebrous was for said incubus-shadow-demon-mask character to slay someone close to him and use their blood to unravel Tenebrous' avatar-state and destroy the phylacteries at the same time. ... Which was of course my paladin, whom I'd been using to keep the DM from TPKing us and washing the game out for about... nine levels. Considering we only got three levels per real year...
I survived, though! Not knowing this, I had my paladin give said mask-demon thing an uplifting speech of brotherhood and how much he appreciated fighting alongside one another, causing the demon's player to break down in tears and force the DM to change that part of the script. He was not pleased.
Adoption is a funny thing in this story.
If you get adopted into a certain family you're automatically screwed.
Missing a period here.
Missing quotation mark.
Okay, some it's like uploading the virus to the mothership in Independence Day. But if they pseudo-liches are killed, will it weaken the shadow?
