It must be nice having all these unicorns around for the use of their cleaning spells...poor ceiling.
Blowjob Bottles
Missing a "
Also... Chocolate Syrup Bottle Blowjobs. Those are now a thing.
Missing quotation mark at the beginning.
Damn teenagers.
Huh... I didn't even consider Barley. But... isn't he too old now?
chocolate syrup
Barley... you the stud
5777110
Bet he is such a stud he ends up giving them a Type 4 Unicorn Foal.
I don't know, Barely as Rarity's baby daddy? Is it because he's banging Luna that he has prince appeal? Also, I think Bucky's plan to teach his Foals a lesson has backfired. I always thought it was stupid to teach people to fear birth. It's supposed to be a wonderful thing. Yes at times painful but also very wonderful and special. But when is life not painful, pain is as much a part of life as joy or sadness.
5777141 that would be funny
5776651 right. I remember now. Sorry for the confusion lol.
5777141
Oh god...Think of the sequines.
Its all fun and game until Bucky realise, after the foals born the chocholate syrup on the ceiling will be a daily sight
( Edit: ugh, its sounds bad as how i wrote it .... i meant the chaos they make not blowing the bottle)
missing a 'the' between 'into' and 'couch'
succumbing

Remember Berry's family. Mixed. So very mixed. Pegasi, earth ponies, unicorns... she brags about how mixed her family is.
5777094
I don't think so. I believe (not entirely sure) that males of most species create sperm until they die... I think. That is certainly the way it is with Humans. Men can be fathers at ridiculously old ages.
Okay, so I was partially right, it did START with a B and END with a Y.
TOLD YA !!!!!
Chocolate syrup on the ceiling.
I've seen that happen before, except not through the nose.
It's every bit as funny as you think.
5777347 Yes, Prince Blueblood, that´s exactly what children do...sorry, man, I mean no harm, but children don´t think that way...it takes some time, and good education, ´till they develop that kind of though. And remember: type 3 neurosis AND her own sexuality adding even more confusion to the mix...
5777258
I wonder if earth ponies with T-glands tend to come from mixed families more often. Berry and Pina have a mixed family, Bonnie probably too as she is from the Shetlands as well.
5777141 he's DA STUD... not "just a stud", Rarity doesn't want a high lvl unicorn... fuck it, Alicorn it is...
5777168 if his good enough for luna his good for rarity
5777699
See that's my problem, is he good enough because of Luna? Or is he good enough because he's taken? I had sorta wanted them to find an eligible bachelor to potently become a father to the both of them. But Rarity and Coco chose Barley, a taken Stallion who happens to be dating a princess. Its as if they didn't want a father for their child, just a donor. I guess if after all their searching they decided no males were compatible for their heard I guess that a Donor would be the next best thing. But I have a hard time believing Barley would ever have been on that list had he not been with Luna. He is an uncouth vulgar stallion who is way past his prime. If all they want is his genes, his age still calls into question his potency.
5777758
A devoted uncle, successful businesspony, there are plenty of reasons.
Also, he's wealthy.
5777860
None of which would have caught Rarity's eye had he not been with Luna. That has always been her biggest flaw, superficiality. Had he not been with princess Luna she would have never looked past the fact that he was a vulgar old coot. But because he was with Luna suddenly he's a consideration? Or at least I believe that is one of the major reasons. Not much in Rarity has changed to make me believe otherwise.
5778098
Coco is also the one making the selection. Do you think she has no say? Do you think she is as superficial?
5778230
No, but I doubt Rarity would have agreed, if he had even made the list. I not saying he is a bad choice, but if it were not for the fact that he is Luna's consort I doubt he would have even made the list. I mean of all the Stallions in Ponyville why is it the one pony that happens to be with the princess? Why not the Quills and Sofas guy? Why not Mr. Cake? We know Bucky is out because of his power level. Without seeing the process the only conclusion I have come up with is that he is the safest choice. Both that he is taken and the fact that he is connected. As if they didn't want to find a herd stallion, just a sugar daddy. And I don't put anything past Coco, she may not be superficial but she is shrewd and practical. Using Rarity's superficiality against her to choose the most practical choice would be something I could see her doing. And while I admit I am taking alot of emotion out of the equation, such are the ways of females.
5778326
Look at Barley from the perspectives of two entrepreneurs who share a business. Two entrepreneurs who are business focused, business oriented, and success driven. It was even mentioned in the chapter why he was selected. He and Berry Punch both are very shrewd business sorts.
Now... imagine if you are the sort that believes that business acumen is something that runs through family bloodlines.
5778374
If that's the case, why not an Apple? While Applejack does seem to have poor business sense, the have a long family history of successful businesses. Or were they specifically looking for a mixed race bloodline? While I know the Apples are predominantly earth ponies they did have a few Pegasus at the last reunion. Why not Filthy's son, Filthy was one of the best Business ponies in the show, and by that virtue his son would be just as likely a candidate (Even if his relationship to Diamond would make things weird). I guess my problem is by looking at all the potential reasons to chose Barley, I cant see any that would put him above any other contender other than who hes sleeping with. That and no other contenders were shown to be even closely considered.
Also I find the idea that business sense is an inherited trait is silly and almost insulting, without learning common sense Barley would most likely just be a letch and a loaf. Business sense is a learned trait just as math or science is.
5778470
But certain ponies do have a knack for business as part of their magical lineage.
5778470
Also, Luna's reasons will be revealed in the story... for those, you will have to wait.
5778480
I see, that brings into question so many things. Does that mean House Avarice were magically inclined to rule? Or guard families are predisposed to war? Are some unicorns just predisposed to dark magic? I guess with a living entity that governs the fate of every mortal its possible, but that just opens so many more levels of manipulation.
5778491
Luna's motives are fairly clear, while I don't doubt she has some reservations their relationship has been quite casual and fairly open. I really don't know why I'm against this, but I've always had a problem with these types of relationships. Hot chick with older guy just because he has something she wants. Love maybe a factor but will always be questioned by society because no matter how long they stay together her initial motives are in question. I only slightly balked at Luna because she was just opening herself, and Barley was the engine that drove that. But everything about this just feels wrong.
Where I live its actually far more common, visa marriages lead to 20+ year age gaps. Older guys flaunting their young wives because they are rich, or had connections. Seeing it every day just makes this particularly hard for me to accept.
5778521
Considering that it created the relative universe specifically as an experiment, there's never been an aspect that wasn't open to manipulation.
5778788
this is true, and I admit that my objection is mostly open biase against age disparity in relationships. But it's almost every aspect of this that in some way shape or form rubs me the wrong way. If they were seeking an age eligible male I'd be slightly unnerved that it was simply for his essance. If they were in love with Barley I'd think it was a bit creapy. If he was trying to woo them instead of being selected like a side of beef I'd be a bit jealous of the old coot. But all of it together just feels wrong.
5778833
Just for the essence. Remember, a principle factor of the Chaseverse is that they are socially and biologically different from our way of thinking in some areas. That social difference is also based on biological differences. I also find elderly sexual situations to be a bit unnerving, but while I shy away from those into Gmilf, I also won't judge them for it, and I won't judge Rarity's Gfilf persuasion. Though really it's less being extremely attracted to him and more that he's good genetic material.
5778989
but that is the fundamental diffrence here. In a society that preaches the fundamental principles and importance of interpersonal relationships, here's an example of where bloodlines and genetics trump wether or not they are socially compatible with the father. A practice favored by nobility and those who were blamed for the downfall of Society.
Taken everything into account, Rarity gains status of having quasi noble ties. Coco gains a family with a diverse heritage and potentially strong genetics (I'm a firm believer in the theory of hybrid vigor), and Luna gains a legacy of her beloved. In fact it's more likely that she instigated the affair simply for that purpose. But all of this negates the fact that if they were choseing him as a mate, I doubt he would even be top 3.
5779070
Not everything done by the nobles was bad. Mostly maliciously-intentioned. Which is not present here.
Wat.
Hmm, no witty remarks about typos in the footnote? That's no Kudz! ITS A CHANGELING! KILL IT!
5779359
yes, no intentional harm is present. Just as Princess Platinum did not intend to create a house of nobility that would seek the overall control of Equestria. while there is nothing wrong with what they are doing as individuals such practice is over an entire society could become problematic or seen as oppressive. my problem harkens back to why aren't they looking for a heard male. its not like they don't have the option, but selective breeding is easier and more effective than trying to look for a compatible mate. is this the kind of value that they're trying to set for their future?
5777093
Have been for a while.
You need to go see some good burlesque shows.
"Nowhere" consistency man, consistency
Please for the love of All that is hilarious, somebody animate this! I would do it myself but i don't have the skill.
