'Prepper', is an alicorn who once saw a glimpse into the future. With a vision of disaster, her destiny changed. No longer believing that no harm could ever come to the world she knows, she began to prepare for an uncertain future.
Now a wandering caravan finds themselves welcomed, invited to come join her in her shop, 'Prepper's Place', as she tells the story of how things came to be the way they are now.

This is an 'episodic' style story that follows the dream one alicorn has of bringing love to the wasteland in her own little way. Revel as she recounts her tales, and buy her bargains at brazenly discounted prices.

Authors note: I had planned to keep this hidden until completion (it isn't going to be a long story, I swear!) but the fact that Grypher finished the cover art and plans to release it prompted a change of pace. Current events in the world (a certain virus) have slowed down my writing efforts, but I promise, this WILL be complete before long!

Also of note: although this is set in the same canon as Broken Bonds, the two stories will never meet, so knowledge of one will not affect the other.

Alright! It's time to show you all how cool the 80s really were!!!

In an AU, unlike the modern day Equestria Girls timeline, this world shows the lives of the Rainbooms and the Shadowbolts in the greatest era of all, the 1980's!

In 1985, CHS and Crystal Prep were slightly different in those times. The lives of the Rainbooms and the Shdowbolts were the same, only before the Friendship Games were officially created, CHS and CPA were at peace with each-other. And living with the 80's technology! Imagine, Rarity making 80's style clothing, Rainbow Dash playing on the Atari 2600, Twilight Sparkle using the old commodore mainframe computers and Lemon Zest listening to 80s classics!!!

I don't own MLP or any of these things within the story. All ponies, songs, everyday products and game consoles belong to their rightful owners/companies. The only things I do own are my OCs.

Famine grips the world. Celestia has no choice but to take what the citizens of Equestria need to survive from other countries by force. She forms the Solar Empire. Whirlwind, a Pegasus from Cloudsdale and old friend of Rainbow Dash, decides to join the Solar Empire Air Force alongside Rainbow to fight for their country, friends and families.

But all does not go well. Whirlwind, now branded a traitor to the Empire and Equestria, finds himself on the run even though he was only following orders. Can he outrun the biggest and most powerful empire in the world's history, can he live with himself after what he had to do to his best and only friend and can he restore peace back to the world?

In a universe where ponies have discovered the means to travel among the stars, an empire arose. Lead by Princess Celestia, ponykind reached out. As prophesied, there came a time when Nightmare Moon returned, threatening to bring darkness to the shining kingdom. Six brave ponies, wielding the Elements of Harmony stopped her, and peace reigned once more. Soon however, Luna found the atrocities her sister had committed in controlling her empire and staving off the threats to it. Outraged, she set in motion thousand year old plans that she thought would never be needed.

This is the story of two empires, and the the war between them.

Button is awaited. In Valhalla, no less. All he has to do to get there is one deed, one act of courage, planning and strength to prove himself worthy. It starts with the gathering of weapons and the spraying of the mouth, and ends with a bang.

But Button wouldn't just spray himself with chrome for a movie, would he? After all, maybe he wasn't the only one who was inspired by it.

Dismayed by worse than expected results in the skies over Vietnam, the US military began to study the problem.

The Department of the Navy decided that the issue was inadequate training for close-in fighting. A cadre of experienced F-8 Crusader pilots led the charge to reform air combat maneuvering.

Their mascot helped, too.
