To Princess Celestia,
I write to you in order to express great joy.
We gained a Chromosome today. Our party of adventurers recently saved a city from the hypnotic clutches of an evil wizard. We accomplished this with minimal bloodshed thanks to the quick thinking of Lysanderoth, a fire mage who wanted to help us free his home.
After peace was restored, Lysanderoth requested to join us in our quest to vanquish evil across the land. I was overjoyed to hear this, and the party voted to accept him. Boo Cow does not trust him, however, so I have been tasked with keeping a close eye on him. I am not worried, though. He has already proven himself to me.
My thoughts cannot help but wander back to Orc Mercenary. I held these same feelings then, and tragedy struck shortly thereafter. I have been chastised for my optimism before, but I know things will only get better with Lysanderoth here. He is kind and charismatic and strong. I am sure our friendship will last a long time.
Stu

I love you Stu!
Stay away from disco
Is this a ProZD reference?
The moment that I saw who wrote this, I began to realize what this is about xD
Famous last words. I sense something will happen to his new friend.

Expect betrayal
Oh, Stu... never change.
I spat out my coffee, thank you very much.
Lysanderoth...
Is King Dragon gonna show up too?
We need to protect Stupid!

Anon should be DM and suggest Stu switch to a necromancer class and play favorites with the effectiveness of him reviving dead friends. Low roll gets his "friend" back with low health and high roll just OPs said" friend" to be a cursed eternally reviving undead who will never leave him again.
Hoped this meant that Twilight made a good decision for once, but I should have known better.
So, Anon here is Dennis, right?
Will there be another NPC called Archibald who will join for a mission, only for that to be the betrayal mission where Lysanderoth perma kills him?!
Whenever Stu writes I express great joy.
That ProZD reference makes me want to like this, but I can't like it twice. Thrice, if counting Snow's sister fic.

The real "morality" questions aren't necessarily about the millisecond of being dead. The real problem comes with the... well, the actual transportation. Transporting a stream of particles is pretty much just as inconvenient as transporting the whole thing, and not a lot faster. So most (nonmagical) teleportation involves disassembling the subject, possibly converting it into energy, and then assembling an exact copy on the other side.
So if someone believes in the soul, and the soul is not a physical object, does that get transferred too, or does it just die, and a husk is created at the other side? Living, breathing, but no "life" is actually there.
If you don't believe that a soul exists, or you are one of the people who believe that the soul is the electrical currents of your brain (and those are copied as well), then teleportation is no issue whatsoever.
And, of course, if ponies know exactly what the soul is because of magic, and know how to transport that, then it equally is no problem.
Ohhhhhhhhh boy...

Oh, that quandary exists for atheists and the like, too. Is a mentally and physically perfect copy of you you? If not then why would a post-mortem perfect copy of you (such as one made after you were ripped apart at the molecular level) be you?

>Tree of harmony sees future.
>The future is purple and autism.
>Look for solutions through time, but only find more purple.
>Find one existence where its not completely purple (but still very purple)
>In its center is a creature the tree knows as "human" and he is screaming in a weird mix of anger and fear.
>Suddenly purple cascades around the human into Twilight, who then yells at said human for ruining the autistic purple singularity
>This continues on loop for a few centuries.
>Are humans supposed to be immortal? (The tree asks legitimately confused.)
>Tree decides that its the best solution it could find, even if the end comes and goes.
>You are Anon.
>You just learned a fuckass-tree just took you to be a sperg-sitter.
>You want to chop the bitch tree, but every time you find an axe, it suddenly explodes into rainbows.
>You really don't like that tree.
>The feeling is mutual.
My god, Stu could give Pinkie diabetes
Lysanderoth's gonna die/betray the party, calling it now
I see Anon is a man of culture.

"We work with the tools we're given."
"It is really hard to take you seriously when you're channeling Princess Leia by way of Twiggles."
"Again, we work with the tools we're given."

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
That name is almost as not-evil sounding as Goge Vandire.

King dragon sends his regards -
i really hope celestias relpy is to whoever is GM (proabaly spike) telling them to keep lyfiremagedude alive for a while or at least have his pass oit if the game in a peacful and pleasent way. (like settling down with a family) so that stu can still visit him from time to time.
i may be overthinking it but from the investment Stu has in this game it is impotant that he can learn friendship lessons through it.
