Frankly, I’d cast my vote in the “let purple horse have fun with bodies” hat. We both know she isn’t gonna stop (not that I’d even try to stop her), so I say relax and see where she goes with it. I doubt my input matters, but I’m telling you anyway because fuck you I do what I want.

Admittedly, I'm a fan of the magic systems where healing is incorporated into necromancy, because it's essentially reversing death. So, maybe this paves the way for brand new healing magic. Maybe it leads to a horrific, undying abomination that needs to be banished to the depths of Tartarus.

It used to be necromancy in 2e and 3.0 d&d because it was still moving life energy around- you were just pushing it into people instead of pulling it out.
Guild Wars takes it a step further, and all necromancy is just moving life energy around- curses and hexes to pull it out of people you don't like, healing skills and minions to put it in people you do.

The best part about Anon is that he actually cares, no matter what he says - what he does says otherwise. And he keeps doing it, against his better judgement. Any lesser man would've noped the fuck out of there, yet he seems to consider himself something of a Sane Man, duty-bound to at least reliably report, if not interrupt whenever possible... I have to admit - this Anon is an unsung hero. Mad respect.

Also, he really is a friend to the diarchs, here. It's clear that he can be a dick (as he likes to prove, over and over), but he's also loyal and caring. And most importantly, when he looks at Celestia, Loona Luna - or any other pony for that matter - he sees the pony, not the title; that alone makes him a dear to the princesses, I feel - it's the sort of closeness they've always wanted, but couldn't really get. They do say admiration is the farthest-removed from understanding...
