The Cupcakes thing is a meme that originates from a widely hated piece of fanfiction that most of the fandom has a low opinion of.
There were a lot of edgy jokes and references for a while and a lot of people just got sick of it and generally seem to see it as lazy and forced for shock value when it is referenced.

At least, that's how I understand it.

Also, are you really calling people stupid sheep just for having a negative opinion about what you posted?

I know some people absolutely hated it but I don’t know why. It was over the top, but Pinkie has always been pretty manic so it wasn’t that big of a leap, especially when Party of One is taken into consideration. Besides, it was supposed to horrify. I think it was a pretty big leap since Pinkie is extremely emotional and apparently suffers from some sort of depression or other mental health issue but had never shown any behavior that could be seen as murderous or malicious inclinations.
Pinkie is for the most part just cheerful and eager to make everyone happy, not a deranged cannibal.
But that's just me personally, so you can still feel however you want about the subject and still be totally valid in having that interpretation and opinion on the concept. It is ultimately subjective and there is no one correct answer or way of looking at it.
What if scenarios can be pretty fun, even if people differ on which ones seem believable or entertaining.
