The storm approaches. A threat hidden in darkness, now steps into the light. Illusions of security and safety are finally shattered.
A time of celebration has come upon Equestria. Twilight Sparkle has recently been crowned Princess of Friendship. Preparations have begun for her wedding with her soon-to-be prince, Dusk Noir. Everypony is excited for this momentous occasion.
Until a series of devastating attacks occur, ones which mark the opening gambit of their enemy: the wrathful Fallen Soul and those who stand with him. Individuals of those within and without Equestria, stolen away without warning. Not just ponies, but a griffin, a dragon and a buffalo. But why these beings? What is twisted alicorn's plan for them? Whatever it is, the Wielders of the Elements of Harmony will stop him, as they have every other threat.
But will that be enough this time? Will they all survive and for those who do, how will it change them? Will they all live to see the colours that come out, when Dusk falls?

Book VI
A month has passed since the Invasion of Canterlot. In that time, Dusk and his friends have continued to live peacefully in Ponyville. Recent revelations have shaken them, but they stand firm, their friendship and love as strong as ever, if not stronger. They help each other, lend their strength and remain united by the magic they all share. The threat is defeated, as it always is.
But these threats are never truly gone. They wait, they fester, they grow... they rise. Now, they have risen once more. Growing shadows creeping from the North. Vows of vengeance rising from the Pits. Roars of rage echoing across the land. Once again, they must stand together and face them, strengthened by their ever-growing friendship.
But these ancient enemies aren't the only things that need to be contended with. Dusk and Twilight continue to explore their relationship, but what will it lead to? They know of Ray's terrible secret, but how will they ultimately cope? What are these whispers of Twilight's destiny between the Royal Sisters? Can their friendship withstand the trials they will soon face?
However dark the shadows may be, one thing that's certain is that there will always be a Ray of light shining in the Dusk.

Twilight Sparkle and her brother Rahs Sparkle have become gods. One would think that would mean that there would be less problems for them. Having survived three years in Ponyville [ or Ponyville having survived three years of them] the Sparkle siblings and their friends are about to have a whole lot more problems.

Vicious vines, end of the world doomsday cults, vampire ponies, Equestria Games, Party wars, Lip sync scandals, breezies, a trade expo, members of the royal family moving into town, betting pool changes, more dating shenanigans, a fishy presence, darkness, and the return of a great evil.

Graduation was supposed to be a happy day for the Rainbooms. Sunset and Princess Twilight had both agreed to temporarily shut the portal to Equestria so they could leave CHS safe and sound while they went on a post-graduation band tour. However, instead of SHUTTING the portal, they somehow made it explode, shattering the multiverse and scattering the Rainbooms across countless different universes. Now, Sunset Shimmer finds herself face-to-face with creatures straight out of dreams and nightmares, from the pages of legend to the screen of cinema.

Her best chance to reunite with her friends and get home: a self-proclaimed "Giant Nerd" and his old jalopy of a car, both of which are native to a world of silent observers of the multiverse, including her own life with the Rainbooms. Between his guidance and her courage, the two of them are determined to reunite the Rainbooms and get them back home...

Even if that means facing ink demons, xenomorphs, genocidal time-looping children, or even Egyptian god cards.
