Carl Lee is new to his job.
In spite of his inexperience, along with coursework deadline induced bouts of sleep deprivation, and a serious caffeine reliance, Carl has made it through his first academic year as a secondary Science teacher, and his Twenty fifth birthday is on the final day of summer term to boot!

Things are looking good, but this summer break will be far from relaxing.

After an unfortunate magical mishap at the School Of Friendship, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle are turned into a single entity, a... you know what? No one's exactly sure. But one thing is certain, life for them is about to change drastically...

A.K. Yearling's mail mostly consists of the usual fan correspondence. However just before the Friendship Summit in Griffonstone and the Daring Do Convention, the Griffon Ambassador writes to demand the return of the looted Griffon's Goblet. This is followed by a variety of letters from Griffonstone and elsewhere.

Red Team had been given an assignment. It wasn't the usual sort of assignment. They were assigned to defend their base 'until further notice'...and then never received notice. All announcements sounded pre-recorded, and enemy assaults were few and far between. The enforced inactivity was slowly fraying the bonds of the team...

...until something unexpected arrived. A tiny creature appears one day in their fortress, in need of compassion and care. Somehow, she finds that in this group of strange individuals, as she becomes their baby.

Uncle lives a very fulfilling life at his antique shop. It's peaceful and quiet for the most part, just how he likes it. Of course, he's a skilled chi wizard, so he knows better than to actually let the universe know that he's content. So he complains.

A lot.

Then one day, a basket containing three infant magical ponies arrives, and his peaceful life goes out the window...to be replaced with, perhaps, something a little more than contentment.

The universe, apparently, is smarter than he gave it credit for, because now he has "Three More Things!" to complain about to hide just how much they mean to him.

Pinkie is looking for more lucrative work so that she can eventually start her own bakery, so she's applied to be one of the Night Guard. The job pays well, and the benefits are fantastic...

But in order for her to take the job she has to undergo a change.

Is it worth transforming into a Thestral for 750 bits a week and full health and dental? She'll have to think carefully.

After Fluttershy and Applejack visit Kirin Grove, Twilight Sparkle demands a kirin in the School of Friendship, and since Autumn Blaze is already friends with Fluttershy and Applejack, she is sent, and so the day begins.

He's no good guy, but he's definitely not a villain. Captain Sprinkletits only does what he does simply because he hates his name. Yes, it's as simple as that.

Oh, I guess I sort of lied, he hates his mother for having given it to him in the first place. Now it's as simple as that.

Everything pirate that he's done is just to grind her gears. To Twilight's chagrin, she'd made it onto that short list.

Every student of the School of Friendship had to complete a capstone project before graduating. While the other students wrote songs, baked cakes, and other ordinary things, Ocellus and her friends decided to make their last project together count--they built a ship, and planned to sail it north all the way up the coast to Manehattan. But none of them were terribly good sailors, and they never could've imagined what found them on the water...

Now they've been washed ashore in a strange land, surrounded by creatures they never imagined in their wildest dreams. To survive long enough to make their way home, they might just have to make some new friends.
