Sergeant Apricot Tarts lives her life in Stable 242 rather normally. However, one day she is forced to set out on a mission to save her very home, but things don't go as planned. She gets stuck in a world that no training could have ever prepared her for. While she struggles to fight everything the Wasteland throws at her, she strives to avenge her fallen comrades and to find out what happened to the once pulsating city of Coltsboro.

Rainbow Dash has just moved into an awesome new home! Although it's not a house in the clouds, she can easily see herself kicking back in this beautiful abode. The only problem is, the house has a mind of its own, and it doesn't seem to want Rainbow to leave. The house is holding her captive, a prisoner in her own home. It taunts her, moving doors, and switching where the rooms are. It adds things, then takes them away. Rainbow Dash has to escape her new home, but how can she, when it controls everything surrounding her?

A thousand years ago the princesses both had a devoted pupil. A special spell had been placed upon these students by those loyal to them. If ever a princess should be incapacitated, than the spell would place that princess's student into stone until the princess regained their position. When this spell was originally created, it was merely thought to be a method of keeping the student under the control, it was never thought that one of the two princesses would ever actually be incapacitated, that is until princess Luna was banished to the moon.

At the height of the EndWar, a Ghost team has orders to track down a madman who has kidnapped some of the United States' top scientists. However, when it turns out that the madman has used them to build a portal to escape from the world's ongoing onslaught, he runs through, forcing the Ghost team to follow through and take him down. In the aftermath of events, the Ghosts realize that they have no way to return home, and find themselves in a middle of a conflict that calls upon their talents to protect Equestria.
