I call bull shit. There is no end to Know Your Mare. It, like our lord and savior, Morgan Freeman, is eternal.
Know Your Mare, is a endless cycle.
That one line had me hooked.
there's a season 6 coming out. Big Jim confirmed.
6445431 Morgan Freeman may be the lord and savior, but Gabe Newell is the lard and savior, with his son Gordon Freeman.
6445906 Thank you; but the comics are not fact. And while I read that one, it was boring and lackluster so I decided to not pay attention to it.
I think this should have ended the first, MAYBE second time it shut down. No offense intended or anything, but it's REALLY lost it's flair. Chapters have fallen apart, with minimal effort put into any of them. The chapters are disjointed and confusing, and it's become little more than a shell of its former glory. I believe this is due to a lack of care from the author. Always end the story too early on a high note than too late on a low note. It's better that they feel empty than disappointed and exhausted of the tedium. This story should never end, that is true... but I think the author should stop writing it, as (s)he very clearly doesn't care anymore. (s)he should give it to someone else to continue, and take a looooooong break.
6456126 You're under the misconception that I ever tried or cared. I've put in the same amount of effort I always put in: none. The story never had flair or a high note; those are illusions that people believe. This was always just disjointed, pointless time wasting. Which in itself is why no one could ever write Know Your Mare except me.
Because whoever tried to write for it next would care. You can't care. That's how KYM was made; by not caring for even one second.
I always had fun writing it, however. Even if I never cared.
6456136 Well to an extent. It's two different types. Now there's no character movement, no real relationships. Every chapter is just an effort to get it over as quick as they can. I don't know, maybe nothing's changed within you. However, there's a very clear difference in spirit. The original chapters felt like they had no care in the sense that they were unbound. Anything could happen! Now it feels like there's no care in the sense that now each chapter feels like it's dragging its feet in the mud, just trying to make it to the next day. And that's never good.
Gone are the witty insults,
Gone are the unexpected character relationships,
Gone is everything that made this story what it was.
6456202 An interesting idea.
