1592930 Really I thought that when the Crystal Heart was powered up he got blown to pieces, either way he got a very family unfriendly send off.

Also the episode itself was amazing and it was nice to see Spike save the day for once, I also liked it when the mane six, Spike, Shining Armor, and Cadence turned into crystal versions of themselves, now I wonder if those will be part of the Crystal Pony set that comes out in 2013.

Lastly Hasbro released a teaser for the rest of Season 3 during the episode and from the looks of things it's going to blow things out of the water even more than Season 2 did.

Well there was a clear shot of his horn still in one piece after he got blown the buck up and seeing as how just a piece of his horn can spread his influence I figured that the whole thing can eventually revive him. Plus the dude looked like a spirit for most of the episode anyway so what's saying that he can't just go into his horn for safety.

1593020 Probably "The Trails" as some fanfics call it, which are tests that allow for ordinary ponies to become Allicorns. The Season 3 trailer shown during the premiere said that "One pony will discover her true potential." and it made itself pretty dang obvious that they were talking about Twilight. My guess is that the Season 3 finale will be Twilight getting the chance to become an allicorn only to turn it down because it would mean leaving her friends behind.
