Could you explain this some more? Are not all characters OC at one point? Such as Fluttershy, or Pinkie Pie. Hell, all the Mane Six really. They were all OC. What makes other characters dreamt up by other folks so different?

I ask this mainly cuz I've dreamed of thinking of my own OC once. And, well, I want mine to be more OC than the OC. Do you know what I mean?

1093048 A splendid note. One that I've run over many times. But the difference with that is that those characters have depth, meaning, levels that are never said. OC's, however, aren't. Very few OC's have a meaning or depth... Instead the creator uses death, facades, etc. to pretend they have depth. Even still, there are characters in the show or in any show that have the same problem; I.E. Trixie. But you know what the difference is? They are means to an end. Trixie only existed to personify boasting and being a show-off; which Twilight had to deal with at the time. OC's aren't like that... Thus is why I hate them so much.
