If you asked about Jaune Arc, you'd hear things like how he cheated into Beacon Academy, how no one cared for him from there on before vanishing then presumed dead by everyone.

If you asked about Discord, however, you'd hear tales about how with his power he threw Equestria into chaos, was turned into stone by the princess, returned only to be re-sealed and befriended the Element of Kindness.

But what would happened if Jaune Arc and Discord turned out to be the same person, and if unwanted guests happened to show up? Bad memories from a time forgotten will come back and teams RWBY and NPR will soon know not to anger a God of Chaos.

Legendary swords, items of power and magic, great artifacts that can topple countries and raise kingdoms when wielded by those worthy of their supernatural might. They are the greatest of arms, wielded by heroes and villains alike as they battle fate itself.

As such, as the wisest of sages can easily attest, there are very good reasons why any sane being would do well in keeping such dangerous artifacts well contained and safely hidden away from prying eyes and unworthy hands until such times when their mighty powers may be needed once again.

So the fact that both Link and Ganondorf lost their legendary blades as they traveled through the void towards ancient Equestria may be something of a problem…

This is just a fun little, non-canon, Omake to my story The Power of Freedom, depicting one of the many possibilities that could’ve come to pass due to Link and Ganondorf losing their swords mid-travel as they reached ancient Equestria.

Reading the main story isn’t necessary to appreciate this, but it would make it far more enjoyable.

Many years after her dethronement, Chrysalis has returned to her kingdom, but not in the way her people had secretly feared. Chrysalis appears to have changed the same way the others have, although some believe she is using her shapeshifting powers to do so, something that is believed impossible. While Thorax is willing to give her a chance to prove she's changed, Pharynx is not convinced of her reform. The King of Changelings calls his closest friend Spike in order to aid him, but will that be enough? And has Chrysalis truly reformed?

When two infants creatures appeared in her bed, Twilight Sparkle couldn't help but feel curious. And that moment, she later realized, was when her entire life would get quite hectic.

All around Equestria, strange events started to take place, a new kind of energy bathed the world overnight, and now odd creatures were popping all over the globe.
And little did Twilight know, that the two babies with her were an important piece of the new mystery.

Equestria is enjoying a time of peace and prosperity. The newly reunited Sisters rule without question and the Elements of Harmony protect the land from any and all evil.

But dark forces lurk in the shadows, hidden from sight… Plotting.

During the apparent chaos will two unlikely youngsters, Spike and Sweetie Belle, become more to each other than they had ever dreamed? Or. Will their new found feelings spell doom for all of Equestria?

BlackWarGreymon, created from 100 Control Spires to do evil, died being a hero.

But as death start to grip him, fate has other ideas. Now in Equestria, his life can start again. Making unforgettable friends, facing deadly foes and experience feelings and emotions he never thought would ever happen to him.
