A man who was a knight, now the God of Chaos. Things can only go so well before the bad strikes.
If you asked about Jaune Arc, you'd hear things like how he cheated into Beacon Academy, how no one cared for him from there on before vanishing then presumed dead by everyone.
If you asked about Discord, however, you'd hear tales about how with his power he threw Equestria into chaos, was turned into stone by the princess, returned only to be re-sealed and befriended the Element of Kindness.
But what would happened if Jaune Arc and Discord turned out to be the same person, and if unwanted guests happened to show up? Bad memories from a time forgotten will come back and teams RWBY and NPR will soon know not to anger a God of Chaos.

Outside Ponyville on the edge of the Everfree forest rest a cottage. What makes this particular cottage special from others is the one who lives there, a butterscotch yellow pegasus with a pink mane pony named Fluttershy. Fluttershy is often referred to as the most kindest mare one will ever meet. This is only proven by her shy and timid nature most of the time, but when it comes down to it, she will be forceful and dominant if the situation calls for it.
Currently, Fluttershy is lying down on her couch within her living room waiting for Discord to arrive. Just by thinking his name, she remembers the first time she ever seen Discord in person and it was frightening, even more so given his personality. When she and the other girls were tasked by Princess Celestia to reclaim the Elements of Harmony from Discord, she thought of possible things they would need to go through to get them back, but never did she think that he would toy with them in the hedge maze, corrupting them one by one into their opposites to destroy their friendship. Never in all her life was she so terrified after that experience.
But imagine her shock and surprise when Princess Celestia herself tasked them, mainly Fluttershy, to reform and befriend Discord, hoping his power could be used for good. Truthfully she didn't like that as, not only was she still scared from the first time they confronted him, but also the fact that they'd only do it for his power was a lot like slavery in her eyes. After she successfully befriended him things were tense between him and the girls, understandably considering what happened before, but she lived up to her Element and was kind to Discord the whole time...until Tirek that is.
When questioned why he did it, his answer shocked them speechless
Flashback: 5 days after Tirek
Currently the Main 6, along with Princesses Celestia, luna and Cadence and Prince Shining Armour, were currently sitting in a semicircle formation with Discord being in front of them with his head down in the throne room of Twilight's new castle. It was easy to tell by his posture that he was in a sort of depressed state, just leaking sadness around him. It was quiet for the next five minutes when Celestia spoke up.
"Discord, after the events with Tirek" she started noticing him tense up at the mention of that particular screw up "and we needed to ask you something, to better understand your choice." she finished seriously, but also trying to be gentle as even she knew this was a delicate situation for him.
For a moment it was silent, until Discord spoke up "S-s-sure, w-what is it?" he stuttered nervously.
Before Celestia could ask, Rainbow dash cut in, "What is it? WHAT IS IT? Dude, you turned on us for a demonic looking tyrant and for what?! For 'freedom?!" she questioned, flying up into his face with the others agreeing in some way. Soon it devolved into pointless chatter with each of their reasons overlapping another's with the princesses trying to calm them down, right before Discord responded.
"I was scared." he cut in.
That halted all conversation. He didn't shout it, he didn't screech it, but it still cut through their bickering merely because of what he said. How could Discord, GOD OF CHAOS, be scared? Something he answered without them asking it.
"I was scared that our friendship meant nothing, all because of your opinions of me. I may not show it not regularly, or at all, but the things that some ponies like yourself think and say hurt more than you know." he said before looking at Fluttershy. "I said you were the first friend I ever had, well that wasn't exactly true." he revealed in a solemn tone looking down.
When he stated about how all the things they thought of them actually hurt them made feel guilty for causing him pain, even if they didn't know it. Though they were curious to what he meant by not being his first friend, something Fluttershy voiced.
"What do you mean I'm not your first friend?" she asked timidly.
"There was a time long ago where I had friends, some debatable but friends nonetheless. It was only when they found out something about me that they showed our friendship meant nothing to them, which they showed by verbally, physically in some cases, beating me down day after day with no end in sight. So when I hear all these whispers and see the glares, I flashed back to then which lead to my decision." he finished, leaving them in shock.
If you said that there was a time where Discord was verbally, and if his words were true physically, beaten day by day, you'd immediately be diagnosed with mental instability and put into a mental institute. Throughout history, Discord is often described as an all powerful being that when angered, would strike you down with but a thought, so he was never challenged until the Princesses stoned him. For such a thing to happen to him, being abused like that, made them sick to their guts.
"Ho-how could anypony be so cruel?" Twilight asked after a moment of silence, heck even Pinkie's mane went flat from the thought.
"That was just how they are as people, their decision to hurt me like that eventually broke my mind, throwing me into the thralls of insanity, eventually trying to conquer Equestria before the Princesses hear turned me into stone." he said motioning to Celestia and Luna.
Present
Since then everyone has been supportive to him, helping him when he needs it and they regularly check in on him to see how he is. Right now is their weekly get together where him and Fluttershy sit down eating cucumber sandwiches with tea and make idle and casual conversation.
Speaking of...
*Pop*
"Hello~" came them telltale pop of his teleportation and Discord himself greeting her with a big and enthusiastic smile on his face.
After the confrontation and their efforts to help him, Fluttershy has noticed that he has become more livelier, almost as if before was nothing more than a facade that has now been removed.
Getting off the couch, Fluttershy flew up hug his chest, which he promptly he returned. Exititng the embrace, she the asked "Did you get the sandwiches?" she inquired looking around for them.
*Snap* *Pop*
The trademark snap of his talons and a pop in midair greeted her by displaying a plate with 20 diagonally cut cucumber sandwiches with a pot of tea on the side.
"Indeed, and to change things up a bit I decided to add some mayonnaise. Was that ok?" he asked curiously.
Before she could respond however, a puff of green smoke drifted through her window inside, a signal use of Spike's dragon breath. Collapsing in on itself, it soon turned into a scroll sent through Spike by Twilight, which Fluttershy quickly unfolded before quickly reading to herself.
"What does it say Fluttershy?" Discord asked with a raised eyebrow. While he didn't show it, he was disappointed their time together was interrupted.
After a minute Fluttershy responded looking up at him, "It says that Princess Celestia asked the girls and us to go to Canterlot, something about a problem we could help with." she answered.
"Even me?" Discord asked. Whilst he was curious about this 'problem', he didn't really want to go in fear of scorn.
Nodding she replied "Twilight said that Celestia thinks you can help in this case due to your knowledge in certain aspects." she answered for him.
Putting a claw to his chin he thought on it, "Whilst I'm not an all knowing creature I DO have a lot of experience, hmmm ok I'll do it." he said before snapping his talons.
*Pop*
Suddenly they both inside of Twilight's throne room, with the remaining members of the Main 6 appearing too and screaming in shock before calming down asking the important question.
"Ok, how did I just suddenly get here?" Rainbow asked looking around before spotting Discord, immediately knowing it was him. After his mini confession a while ago, RD decided to spend more time with him, in turn finding out he was MARVELLOUS with pranks, such as turning Diamond Tiara into a chicken with some tar and chicken feathers. Best, laugh, EVER.
"That would be me. I thought we should go visit ol' Sunbutt together, sooooooo I teleported us all here before going." he answered slightly cheekily. "So, shall we go?" he inquired, the girls nodding in agreement before he teleported them there.
*Pop*
With a pop and flash of white, they all appeared in Celestia and Luna's throne room, with the sisters sitting at the top of the steps.
"Girls, Discord, I am pleased you could come here on such short notice." Celestia said with a friendly smile with Luna nodding beside her.
"Well Celly ask and you shall recieve, now what happens to be the probl-" he trailed off as he and the others notice they weren't alone.
At the right of the steps is a group of 8, sitting there gazing on what appeared to be, to them anyway, a mish-mash of different animals in one.
The group consisted of a:
Red furred, black and red-tipped maned, and silver eyed pegasus
Blonde furred, lilac eyed gryphon
White furred, black maned and amber eyed unicorn
White furred, silver maned and icy-blue eyed unicorn
Tanned furred, chocolate brown maned and green eyed earth pony
Black furred, red eyed gryphon
Dark green furred, Raven-magenta striped mane and magenta eyed unicorn
Pink furred, orange maned and aquamarine eyed pegasus
And lastly a bronze furred, red maned and green eyed unicorn
Each of the girls were looking at the new guests with a sense of curiosity, Twilight noting the bronze unicorn looked like Sunset Shimmer quite a bit, where as Discord had a different reaction. In his eyes Celestia saw an emotion never before seen in there other than insanity.
Pure, unaltered, HATRED
"You!" Discord said, spitting it out with enough venom to kill a dragon.
This got everyone in the room to recoil due to intensity of it. Though the new comers were curious as they don't know this thing yet it knows them?
"U-um, wh-what? Sor-sorry but I don't believe we met." the silver eyed pegasus stated, making Discord turn to her making her shrink at his gaze.
"Funny, considering the fact-" *Snap*
With a snap of his talons, in Discord's place stood a teenage boy measuring up to 6'1 feet tall in height, containing a moderately toned build. He had blonde and white striped hair with a deer antler and a blue goat horn sticking out of it. He wears a brown jacket which shows off his right lion paw and left eagle talon. Below that he wears red pants with one brown and green shoe. Behind him swishes a red dragon's tail with a white tuft of fur and on his back is what appears to be a blue pegasus wing and a purple bat or draconic wing. His eyes are asymmetrical blue, his right pupil being larger than the left pupil, with a white goatee on his chin and lastly a snaggle tooth.
"We used to be the best of friends, Ruby Rose." he said, spitting out her name with disgust.
To them, bar one, they are looking at someone who was presumed missing by friends and family alike back home. Now they know he's alive, but hates their very existence apparently.
Beacon Academy, to the outside world it is where the future Huntsman and Huntresses train to combat the Creatures of Grimm, mankind's greatest threat. The academy itself is designed to look like a castle, the purpose of this is to install a sense of hope within the civilians of Vale.
Though at the moment, all one student could feel is loneliness and despair.
Jaune Arc was the leader of Team JNPR (Juniper), and while he is the team's clumsy and goofy white knight while his combat level is below average, his tactical and analytical mind is perhaps one of the best to grace the academy, though like anyone cared for that anymore. When it was revealed that the Arc used falsified transcripts to gain admittance to the school, he became someone who is just oddly weak to the most hated person there.
Day after day, he was verbally and physically abused by everyone around him, all except for Velvet Scarlatina. The rabbit faunus never cared for the legitimacy of his transcripts, to her all that mattered was that whilst he did wrong, it was for the right reasons. To be a hero, to inspire and protect others who can't protect themselves. So when she to Jaune that she didn't care for those transcripts of his, he did something that made her blush like a tomato.
He pulled her into a tight hug and kissed her on the cheek, all the while muttering "thankyouthankyouthankyou" over and over again.
To Jaune, that was a miracle sent from the Heavens. Knowing that there is someone out there who didn't hate him this much was something he truly treasured from thereon, until the day he suddenly vanished off the face of Remnant, leaving a broken-hearted rabbit behind.
Present time
Discord, who has been revealed as being the once known Jaune Arc, glared at the ones he used to consider 'friends', while the rest of the Main 6 with the princesses watch in shock at what has transpired. From what they could peace together, these were the ones who drove him to insanity so long ago, should his words be true. But what confused them was that that happened over 1000 years ago, so how can they still be alive?
Before things escalated to quickly, Celestia decided to cut in.
"Enough Discord!" she called to him. If he were to actually do something to their 'guests', then they wouldn't be able to do anything considering they no longer have the elements.
Discord/Jaune knew she only called to him before things escalated, so he chose to humour her at the very least. Floating over next to Fluttershy while changing back to his Draconequus form, he continued to glare at them with pure hate for them.
Seeing as he relented, Celestia chose to address the situation accordingly. "Am I right to assume you are wondering why you are here girls?" she asked towards the heavily uneasy and confused Main 6.
"Y-yes Princess, bu-but we never got to ask considering Discord's, 'moment'." Twilight answered with the rest nodding, stuttering at the beginning from either shock or fear.
Celestia quells their curiosity, "The reason I have called you here with Discord, was to help with this group's" she pointed to the bonus audience "dilemma."
"And, what sort of dilemma would that be, perhaps?" Rarity asks for the group.
For a moment, the tanned-brown earth pony's eyes seem to flash, before a rather sophisticated voice spoke. "Our dilemma miss, is our sudden arrival herein this world." he answered to them.
Suddenly, Rainbow Dash flew into his face with a suspicious gaze. "Woah woah woah, you telling us you came from another world?" Rainbow asked him, not knowing if he's telling the truth or not.
"He's telling the truth Rainbow." Applejack said with a straight face.
"How can you tell Jackie?" Pinkie said, the ever happy pony planning one hell of a welcome party for the newcomers.
Before Applejack could answer her, Discord did for her "It's her connection to Honesty". Seeing the confused and curious gazes of the Main 6 and the princesses he clarified.
"Whilst the Elements have been returned to the Tree of Harmony, a bit with my influence involved, you each are still connected to them until the day you die." He answered with a professor like tone of voice.
Soon the golden blonde griffon raised a claw, "Uh, what exactly are these 'Elements' and 'Tree of Harmony'?" she asked.
Before anyone could answer her question, Celestia soon spoke up, "Before we have any questions answered, I feel we should introduce ourselves to better understand the situation." she suggested. Agreeing and one by one, the new comers each introduced themselves:
Red pegasus = "Ruby Rose, leader of Team RWBY (Ruby)" Blonde griffon = "Yang Xiao Long, resident pun master and Ruby's older sister" Monochrome unicorn = Blake Belladonna" Pale white unicorn = "Weiss Schnee of the Schnee Dust Company" Tanned earth pony = "Oscar Pine, but I'm also known as Professor Ozpin" Black griffon = "Qrow Branwen, uncle to Ruby and Yang" Dark green unicorn = "Lie Ren" Orange pegasus = "Nora Valkyrie, self-proclaimed 'Queen of the Castle and Pancakes'" And lastly, the bronze-orange unicorn = "Pyrrha Nikos, leader of Team PRN (Prune)
After the introductions were given, Twilight decided to voice an important question. "Wait, you said your name was 'Oscar Pines', yet also 'Professor Ozpin'. What do you mean by that?" she asked confused.
Eyes flashing again, he answered "What he meant was that I'm Professor Ozpin. For you see, my soul has transferred into the young man's body, which we now share control over." Deciding to make things easier, he said "Any other questions would you like to ask me?" with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, what's that that Dissy's playing with?" Pinkie asked pointing at Discord, who seemed to be fiddling with a golden intricate lamp.
Turning their heads to him, they saw that he was holding what they know as the Relic of Knowledge, one of four gifts left behind by the Gods of Light and Dark. Before they could say anything, Luna asked before either of them.
"Discord, what pray is that?" she asked confused, as to her and the others it didn't seem to be all that important besides being a rather nice looking lamp of some kind.
Floating over to her, Discord answered her in a teasing tone. "Oh Moonbooty, I would've expected you of all ponies to not judge items by mere sight." he said to her with her turning red from anger and embarrassment from being called 'Moonbooty'. Before she could voice her complaints he continued, "But nonetheless, this isn't some lamp, the magic within it is comparable to the Elements themselves." he said seriously to their shock. An item that can rival the Elements of Harmony? Such a thing has never been seen before.
Looking over the lamp, he could feel something inside of it. Or rather, someone in it. If anything, it could be classed as when he was turned to stone by the Royal Sisters and later the Main 6, not so much turned INTO stone, but rather encased an a layer of stone who couldn't remove. The fact that there was someone out there who experienced the same thing as him was a welcome relief.
Seeing Discord with analytical eyes got her curious on why, "Besides being compared to the Elements in terms of power, what has sparked your curiosity Discord?"
His answer came without hesitation, "There's someone inside of it." he said serious.
"That would be Jinn."
They all look over at Ozpin, who has remained in control for the past few minutes, for answers. Seeing their gazes, he decided they could at least be trusted with this information.
"The lamp he is holding is what is known as the Relic of Knowledge, one of four relics left behind by the Brother Gods of Light and Dark. The other three relics are of Creation, Destruction and Choice. Within Knowledge rests Jinn, known as the Genie of Knowledge, who answers a total of three questions, no matter what they be, every 100 years." he said to them.
This shocked Celestia and Luna, more so the part about the Brother Gods. In their early years of ruling, they were often seen as the Goddesses of the Sun and Moon. To know that there are those, besides Discord, who have more influence then them is astonishing.
"Well that's all fantastic and what not, but why is her situation comparable to mine; merely wishing for a way out of a prison you can't leave yourself?" Discord asked irritated.
Celestia, seeing that it is nearly time to lower the sun, decided to cut in. "While there are some questions we want answers to, I'm afraid we have to cut this short. You'll each receive a room here in the castle for tonight, and tomorrow morning you'll board the train for Ponyville." she said with Yang snorting at the name. "I'll have my guards escort you there. Discord can you stay for a moment please?" she asked to him, with the others being filed out of the room.
Floating over to the front of the steps, Discord broke the silence. "Okay Celly, what's this about?"
"I do not know your past affiliation with our new guests, but can I trust you won't bring them to harm? she asked him seriously.
"I swear on my honour as God of Chaos that I will not bring them to harm." he swore, placing his talons on his chest while raising his lion paw in the air. Oddly enough, there seemed to be a pink beret on his head too.
Nodding, she said "Very well then, you may leave now Discord." which he wasted now time doing, immediately snapping himself away into his own pocket dimension.
Looking to her sister, Luna spoke up. "Sister, art thou sure Discord will keep his word? Thou has seen the hate within his eyes when looking at them after all." Luna said concerned and reluctant. After all, the whole time she has known the draconequus, it was all when he played some sort of prank; but never has she seen him this serious before.
"I hope so Luna, I truly do." Celestia said, not entirely convinced with her decisions thus far.
Astral Plane
"Are you sure this will work?" a voice said. The voice is easily male, with a calm and serene tone to match.
"Yes. After all, their pasts aren't the most happy. Though of course that's coming from me." a second male said. Similar to the first voice, though has a more demanding and menacing undertone.
*Giggles* "Oh boys, have some faith. I believe that some time together will heal their wounds. Don't you trust me?" a third but female voice said with sass in her voice, seeming to just radiate kindness to those around her.
"We do trust you, we just merely question your judgement. But for now, I suppose all we can do is wait." the first voice said, seeming to accept the situation.
"Good, now we need to find a certain WITCH, and from there we can progress." the female said before leaving.
Grumbling to themselves, the two followed her through a portal, looking for a certain cursed witch.
To say it has been a hectic three weeks would be an understatement.
The morning after they were introduced to their new guests, Discord immediately teleported the group to Ponyville, hoping to be done with this and cause some sweet chaos, much to Twilight's chagrin. She insisted that before anypony do anything, they were to, at the very least, discuss where the newcomers will be staying for the foreseeable future. She managed to do so, having correctly guessed their individual personalities and housed them with the pony they would get along with the most.
Blake will stay with Twilight at her castle (mainly for the library), Ren and Nora with Pinkie at Sugarcube Corner, Oscar and Qrow with Applejack over at Sweet Apple Acres, which left Pyrrha and Ruby with Fluttershy; however this also included Yang as she didn't want to leave her sister's side. When given these arrangements, almost everyone agreed with Twilight's assessment, keyword being 'almost'.
Saying Discord had a hissy fit would not do it justice, as he, surprisingly, gathered a mountain of evidence which all details why Pyrrha staying at Fluttershy's is a bad idea (he also incorporated Yang and Ruby, but that wasn't as focused on). However, his evidence and claims were promptly shutdown after Twilight showed him a letter sent by Celestia, which stated as clear as her day, that this organisation will be put through, whether he likes or not (guess which one he fit into).
Currently, the newcomers are currently in Twilight's library, as she and the rest of the Main 6 are on a mission into the middle of nowhere, for some reason. They decided that every so often they were to meet up at a set location to discuss their current situation, how they are and what they should do next. After Qrow and Oscar entered and Ruby shut the door, she addressed the collected group.
"So, how is everyone holding up?" Ruby asked nervously, still getting used to the whole 'Alternate World' scenario.
"Besides the fact we received the biggest shock of our lives three weeks ago?! Yeah, preeety peachy I'll say." Yang said sarcastically at the end.
Who could blame her? Just three weeks ago they found at that JAUNE ARC, who was deemed missing and later presumed dead, was ACTUALLY ALIVE. To say that rather regrettable and rather forgettable memories resurfaced since. One time, Princess Luna actually came to them saying to get professional help with all the nightmares they were having. Each were different between them, but they all followed the theme of them scorning him, Jaune turning into a monster of sorts and torturing them before brutally killing them at the end.
"Uh, I still don't know what this is all about honestly. I mean, who is this Jaune you keep talking about?" Oscar said timidly, squeaking in embarrassment when they turn to look at him.
"Gotta say, the kid's got a point. Even I don't know who he is, and I'm your uncle." Qrow said pointing a claw at Ruby and Yang.
Ren, seeing as he has one of the best stoic faces, decided to answer their questions. "Jaune Arc, that's his name, is-was the former leader of Team JNPR (Juniper), now renamed as Prune. While his combat levels were below the Beacon average, it was undeniable that he had a tactical mind most would perhaps sell their souls for." Ren said stoically, before getting a downcast and regretful, something mirrored by Team RWBY and the rest of Prune.
"Now way in hell he was that smart." said Qrow, not believing anyone could be that much of a strategic prodigy.
With flashing eyes, Ozpin quelled Qrow's denial. "It is true, in fact Port gave him a fourth year student test, with my permission of course, and while he didn't notice it, he got perfect marks with bonus points, claiming it was 'easy'." Oz said, having looked at the test results and was undeniably shocked by them. Only every one in every 50 fourth year students get a perfect score like his.
Regaining control, Oscar wanted to make something known. "Okay so? That doesn't explain how he got here, I mean, did something happen?' Oscar asked with Qrow nodding along.
"Well, If you're asking about me, you could've come TO me you know?" A voice sounded above them.
Looking up, the group were collectively shocked and surprised to see Discord/Jaune, in their Draconequus-Faunus form, reading in floating chair. Which was upside down, nonetheless. Looking down at their expressions from where he his, he couldn't help but be the slightest bit smug. "What? Never see a guy read upside down before?" he asked with a smug and teasing grin.
"W-w-w-WHAT?! HOW YOU DOING THAT?!" exclaimed Weiss, as seeing this is no doubt messing with her. Just by unexpectedly announcing himself, Jaune had managed to massively fuck with her views of the world around her, no doubt giving her the world's largest headache.
Somewhere, an alabaster alicorn sneezed.
"Oh dear Weiss, what's wrong? Got your panties in a bunch?" Jaune said teasingly, having popped into existence in front of her. (AN: From now, he'll be referred to as Jaune by the Remnant group, while those of Equestria will label him as Discord.)
All that came out of Weiss' mouth was a gurgle of embarrassed and disgusted noises, not able to form a coherent sentence. The other girls however just have mild blushes on their faces from hearing his remark. Jaune, deciding to ignore the faces he was getting and Weiss' freakout, turned to Oscar and Qrow.
"So, you wanted to know about little ol' me do you? Oh, I feel honoured." Jaune said dramatically, putting his lion paw to his forehead and leaning back in a dramatic pose.
"You gonna answer our questions or what?" Qrow asked irritated and impatient, having been fed up with these distractions.
Eyes snapping open and suddenly standing straight, he muttered something to himself about "Griffons these days" before looking the questioning duo. "Well, what EXACTLY did you want to know?" he asked with an eyebrow raised.
"W-w-well, we wanted to know what happened to get you here." Oscar stated intimidated by Jaune, not surprising when taking into account his abilities so far.
Loosing his cheerful attitude, a scarily serious one appeared. "Oh, I see now, You're wanting to know about that." he spat with venom.
'Of all things to know, it has to be that. Why must life hate me so?' Jane thought with disdain.
"Well, I guess I can tell you. Back after my false transcripts were revealed, did the group behind me do something unexpected. I won't go through it all, but merely sum it up. Ruby hated my guts from there, Weiss called me a waste of space, Blake didn't give a shit," that part shocked him, mostly because of him cussing, "Ren & Nora ignored me, Pyrrha was the same as Ruby, BUT, It's the next that is a personal favourite." he said to their shock.
"And, that would be?" Qrow asked, not really wanting to know as there was ONE name not mentioned yet. And she is known for her temper.
Chuckling with little to no humour, he revealed what shocked the two boys still. "Yang would beat me on a regular basis, more like daily now that I think about it. Some of those landed me in the infirmary for a week at best." he said with little care in his voice.
This shocked Qrow the most out of the two of them. He knew Yang had a temper, yes, but to beat him on a near daily basis?! He knew that if his sister Raven were here, she would be disgusted with as well. And they hardly, if ever, get along. Looking over to his eldest niece, who was currently trying to cease to exist currently, he made his IMMENSE displeasure known.
"Yang. You, me and Ruby are going to have a LONG talk about what you did." he stated fiercely to her, Ruby flinching alongside her. Looking back to Jaune, he still had one more question. "However, that still doesn't explain how you got here either." he stated to the Chaos God.
Jaune, thinking for a bit, answered truthfully. "Quite honestly, to this day I still have no idea. I was out in the Emerald Forest killing Grimm, when I was struck down suddenly. After being close to dying by blood-loss, I saw a blob of white and wine-red. Granted, my sight was blurry, so I couldn't tell what it was." he said. After checking the time on his, suddenly appearing, watch, he saw he was late for his time to feed the animals for Fluttershy. "Oops, gotta go now. Ta Ta!" he called by vanishing in a flash of white.
Qrow and Ozpin, who had taken control during the shock, looked to the two teams with disappointed glares. "I do not know what supernatural force possessed you to do such a thing, but know this. I have made more mistakes than any man, women r child, but the level of abandonment has not been, nor ever will be, one of them." Ozpin said before he and Qrow left the Library, leaving the two teams to their own things.
Right now, months of guilt and regret had come back and struck with a vengeance upon them. As they wallow in their grief and failure, they realise that their chance to reconcile with Jaune may very well be dead.
Out in a grass field outside of Ponyville, Discord could be seen messing with the Relic of Knowledge, which he "borrowed".
To most, it would just look like an ordinary but fancy lamp, but Discord knew better. Having lived for over a millennia with access to the Chaos of the universe gives him a variety of skills, and detecting magic was one of the first. He wasn't lying when this lamp could be compared to the Elements of Harmony, what with all the potent magic inside it. However, he could tell that the magic wasn't complete, almost like its missing something. Alongside that, it felt as if someone was inside it, but can't get out.
"If there is someone inside, how can they be let out?" he mused to himself, turning the lamp in all manner of directions. After thinking on all sorts of methods, he got an idea. Since he's the God of Chaos, he should just do what he does best:
"Crack it like an egg." he said as with a snap, a stove and frying pan appeared in front of him. Putting an apron and a chef's hat on, he turned on the stove at 180 degrees Celsius (356 Fahrenheit) and placed the pan on top. Picking up the relic, he banged it on the rim of the pan, right before splitting in half over the pan itself, setting in a blue coloured goop like a normal egg. Cooking it for 5 minutes (he had a clock), he turned off the stove and carefully scraped his cooking onto a plate, before snapping the stove and pan out of existence.
Waiting for something to occur with the blue coloured food, Discord was cut out of his musings by a nearby voice.
"Hey Discord."
Looking over, Discord saw the young Spike walking over to him, carrying a box of muffins with him. 'Must be from that one mare, Ditzy I believe.' Discord guessed. He liked the mare, so much so that he offered to help realign her eyes, but she declined every time. Seeing as he was being rude, Discord returned the greeting.
"Hello Spike, tell me, what brings you over here?" he asked with his talons supporting his chin.
"Oh well, I saw you over here alone and thought you might like the company." Spike said, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.
That through him for a loop. While the friendship did eventually grow between the two (even after the Tirek incident), Discord knew that the young drake didn't just come over to say hi. Something he voiced to him.
"We both know that's a lie, and I'm the Spirit of Disharmony." he said with a straight face.
Figuring out he'd been caught, Spike looked down with a downcast look. "Ever since you met the new guys a couple of days ago, I've noticed that all of them but Qrow and Oscar have depressed looks. I'm really worried." he said, looking up at DIscord with a heavily concerned look. Not surprising, as the drake was always worrying about his friends (what with them being national heroes and all).
Before Discord could respond, a flash of blue drew his attention. Looking over to his beloved cooking masterpiece (to him anyway), he could see it was attempting mold into something apparently. After a few seconds, it suddenly exploded into a blue mist. The mist began condensing on itself, forming a roughly human shape. When it was finished, the two boys were treated to any interesting sight.
Floating in midair is a blue skinned human, obviously female due to her exposed curves. On her wrists are two bracelets with a golden chains dangling from them, with another two bracelets on her ankles and one on her left bicep. Wrapped around her stomach are two sets of chains, with one section connecting two a sun-looking gear. On her neck is a golden necklace, similar to Celestia's, while on her ears are gigantic circular earrings. Completing the regalia is one final chain wrapping around her forehead. When she opened her eyes, the two could see they were a deep sapphire blue, with her hair being a shade of midnight blue. Overall, she was very pretty, accented by how Spike had hearts around his head.
Stretching, the woman moaned out her appreciation (to their embarrassment). "Mmm, wonderful. Tell me, what knowledge do you seek?" she asked, putting her head in her chin when leaning down to the two. Her voice sounding both sultry and curious at the same time.
Looking between each other, a silent conversation went between Discord and Spike. What knowledge do they seek? What the heck does that mean? Seeing as she hasn't introduced herself, Discord voiced his complaints.
"Well that was rude, not introducing yourself. At least I have half a mind to do so." Discord said in hurt and frustration, crossing his arms and looking away from her in a 'holier than thou' manner. Seeing she was about to retort, Spike intervened as to not start start.
"Whoa, hold on, what he meant was that it was kinda rude to not introduced yourself." Spike said, waving his arms about in a pleading manner.
Thinking on his words, the woman realised he was right. Deciding to start things over, she formally introduced herself.
"I am Jinn, a being created by the God of Light to aid humanity in its pursuit of knowledge. I've been graced with the ability to answer three questions every 100 hundred years." she started, shocking spike in awe and making Discord curious on this 'God of Light'. If memory serves, that earth pony, Oscar, said something about Jinn and the Gods. "You're in luck, as I'm still able to answer two questions this era." she finished.
Thinking on what she said, both Discord and Spike looked to each other, silently going over what she said. Being the more experienced, Discord went first.
"Well, that wasn't so hard was it? Nonetheless, I am Discord, God of Chaos and Spirit of Disharmony." he introduced, bowing down at the hip. He looked at Spike, silently telling him to go next.
"And I'm Spike, faithful assistant to Twilight Sparkle." the drake said, putting a claw to his chest in a proud stance.
Jinn couldn't help but giggle, being amused by the drake's childlike enthusiasm. Secretly however, she was cautious of Discord. She was graced to answer any question asked of her, for she already knows the answers. But, for some incomprehensible reason, she knows nothing of this Discord, claiming to be a God of Chaos.
Discord, seeing Jinn looking at him intently, embraced his chaotic nature. Having his back face her, he looked over his shoulder to her with a half lidded gaze. "See something you like?~" he said with a whimsical tone.
Being brought out of her thoughts, Jinn blushed in embarrassment, something new for the magical genie. Sputtering out incoherent responses for a bit, she regained her bearings. "I'll have you know that I'm merely curious about you. Do not get any ideas." she said crossing her arms under her breasts, 'Don't look Discord, it won't end well.'.
Groaning out his displeasure, he complained. "Well, that is wonderful, another bookworm who steals the fun out of things." he said, throwing his arms in the air in frustration.
At first, Spike wanted to retort to his claims, but then realised that, in some way, he was right. 'Well that isn't a scary thought.' he thought in sarcasm.
Straightening himself up, Discord planned their next move. "In all honesty though, funny considering who I am, it WOULD be best to go to the others regarding our newest guest." he said, motioning to the idly floating genie.
"Yeah, you're right. I'll go on ahead." Spike said before running off. Jinn, looking to Discord, raised an eyebrow in confusion. Something he noticed.
"Don't worry, it will be fine. Though I am surprised he didn't just ask me to teleport us there." he said rubbing his chin. "Oh well, there's no rush." he said before floating off after the drake. Jinn, for once in centuries, had no idea what's going on.
"And I feel that will be a recurring theme." she muttered to herself, following the two to catch up.
"AHHHH!!" a voice yelled out in rage.
*Giggle*"Calm down Light, it was kinda funny." an amused female voiced said, trying to contain her laughter.
"Funny? FUNNY?! HE BROKE MY RELIC LAUREN, LIKE AN EGG TO BOOT!!!" the voice, Light, yelled at 'Lauren'.
*Chuckles*"I disagree brother, I'm actually quite liking Discord's 'methods'." another voice told Light, chuckling at his brother's misfortune.
"See! Dark gets it. Enough bickering boys, we need to do some hunting." Lauren said before leaving, Light and Dark following after her, Light still grumbling in anger.
