This story takes place a week after the events of A Dog and A Pony Show.

Rarity was rescued by her friends from the vicious, jewel-hoarding Diamond Dogs after they had kidnapped her whilst hunting for gems with Spike. Upon escaping captivity with her friends, they had also managed to secure some of their horde for themselves, but was taking the carts of gems evening both parties, or was it stealing? Rarity, as the Bearer of The Element of Generosity, begins to have second thoughts and she heads back to the den of the Diamond Dogs.

Was this a smart move, or would it prove to be a big mistake?

Discord has once again escaped from his stone prison, with a little help from the Diamond Dogs, and sets out to get his revenge on the mane six. His plan involves kidnapping the Cutie Mark Crusaders and holding them for ransom in exchange for the Elements of Harmony. Now Twilight and her friends must think of a way to rescue the Crusaders without handing Discord the one thing that can stop him.

The Diamond Dogs have returned and have captured Spike and all the ponies except for Rarity to make them work as slaves to find diamonds in their new domain, Mud Fortress. Rarity must brave the filthy wasteland before her and make it to Mud Fortress to rescue her friends. But will she be able to when Mud Fortress is full of…well, MUD?!

The Princesses have a recieved a letter from the Diamond Dogs. A letter of peace, saying that they have agreed to stop their attacks on the ponies of Equestria. They've agreed to send an ambassador for their race, and the Princesses were more than happy to oblige. Even though Celestia's gut knows something's off, she's decided to keep it to herself, not wanting to ruin this great opportunity.

Having lost her bow to a day's worth of Crusading, Applebloom is far too distraught over the loss to do as her sister asks and wait until morning to search for it. If she is quick, she can retrace her steps, find her ribbon, and be back in bed before anypony notices.

Discord tries to prove to everyone that he has reformed by doing good deeds all throughout Ponyville. Some are grateful for what he has done, but others still think he's evil. But when Sweetie Belle runs into trouble, Discord goes off to help her.

When the deposed king of the Diamond Dogs is brought before the court of Celestia, the story he tells is far too much to believe. For if it is true, the Equestrians' conquest of his nation has been a terrible mistake.

The Goodfic Bin

Uncle lives a very fulfilling life at his antique shop. It's peaceful and quiet for the most part, just how he likes it. Of course, he's a skilled chi wizard, so he knows better than to actually let the universe know that he's content. So he complains.

A lot.

Then one day, a basket containing three infant magical ponies arrives, and his peaceful life goes out the window...to be replaced with, perhaps, something a little more than contentment.

The universe, apparently, is smarter than he gave it credit for, because now he has "Three More Things!" to complain about to hide just how much they mean to him.
