One year after her coronation, Princess Twilight Sparkle is dead, killed by her own subjects out of fear and jealously. After the funeral, Princess Celestia isolated herself from the world, mourning the loss of her brightest student and daughter figure.

But she cannot weep forever. She must take control of her duties once more. Haunted by the memories of the assassination, and its aftermath, Celestia slowly makes her way to Twilight's resting place to find some closure.

It was the final battle. My tribe the Dersaei finally were going to defeat the Hydra's clan Edoni but everything wen't wrong I was knocked unconscious and awoke on a slave ship. I will not die in the Arena for the entertainment of others, I will become legend and my name will ring through the Arena for ages to come. Each chapter is about the other characters, outside of Celestia, who deal with the aftermath of Twilight's death in the first story. Some will be main characters, other minor, others OC. But all of them will be affected, all of them will mourn, and all will have to move on.

This story is a sequel to An Alternate Path

Much has changed in a few short months in Equestria. Changelings, once feared and hated, are now starting to become full citizens, and some are choosing to live amongst ponies. A particular nymph, Gel, first sparked the movement and is now living happily with her unicorn husband. However, there are always new challenges on the horizon, and the most obvious to this couple is their first child.

Watch as this young couple take on the challenges of being new parents to the first recorded case of a pony-changeling hybrid. What will this child be like? How will they act? Only time will tell. Friends are always there to help, family as well, but there are some ponies who weren't so accepting of changelings, and one can only imagine how they might react to a literal symbol of their integration.
