Celestia does not run. She is never anything other than exactly on time. If she arrives and everything is not ready then everypony else is late. If everything is ready and she has not arrived then everypony else is early. Celestia does not run she has no need to. She never breaks her even, regal gait which is only one facet of the air of decorum and regality that seems to seep from her pores in place of sweat.
For most of winter I have avoided her. Seeing her inspired such turmoil in my heart that it had become physically painful. Seclusion comes easy to me, everypony fears me too much to dare break my solitude. I was left alone with only my restless heart for company.
I approached Celestia’s chambers. I do not know what my intentions were only that that night my solitude would end. She saw me coming and she ran to me. Celestia does not run. Nothing rushes her, nothing brings her to break her gait. I have never seen anything in all my years so important as to bring her to run…or so I had thought.
The pony that ran to me was not the mighty Princess Celestia, surrounded by thousands of years of pomp and circumstance. She is my sister, embracing me and crying into my mane because she cannot stand to see us torn apart.
How many hundreds of years has it been since I felt I had I sister. Not a co-ruler, not a towering monolith that always casts its shadow on me, but a sister.

... Okay, maybe healing can begin now... maybe they can start to be there for each other...
Aww man I almost cried at this part. Good job my friend good job.
Okay, yeah, this one made me tear up a bit. Lovely piece of writing.
You made me tear up here, almost outright cry. So little is described here, yet it's all that is needed.
How the hell do you do that with so few words?!
This is getting really, really good!
a sister. I think that first part is a question, rhetorical as it may be.
