Reunion - Chapter 42

It is all but done. Sister believes herself to be on the cusp of victory but she only marches to her defeat. In the sky is a swirling mask of my guard. To her eyes it looks as if the battle for the sky is still being fought in earnest. None of her flyers made it back to report the defeat. Her guard has been bled off to half its former strength while mine have suffered no loss.

There is a fort she believes to be my command post. Her guard marches to take it. my flyers pester them from the skies while I carry my ‘advisor’ over and behind the force. Does he still believe himself honorable as he is carried like a foal over his doomed comrades?

My trap I set without the need for bait. Celestia believes she will find victory but she will be handed defeat instead. ‘Twill be a glorious triumph!
