Reunion - Chapter 58

Celestia is her usual self. It seems she cannot be content unless she is meddling in the affairs of another. I am not opposed to her idea and as time goes on it will become a necessity but she is a blind mare trying to paint a wall. She wants to begin including unicorns in the night guard. She offers me Shining Armor as the commanding officer for the new force. If nothing else he inspires obedience in those under him but I do not want him.

He commands no respect from the night ponies and he will doubtlessly expect a rank similar to his own. The night guard is not large enough to make use of him or give him such a rank. Though Sister seeks to give him away he does not truly belong to Celestia or myself. His first loyalty is to another alicorn.

First chapter since school has started. I hope everyone's classes are going well and regular life is good for people not in college.
