Shining Armor advises me that no plan of battle survives contact with the enemy. I am not surprised given the simplistic strategies he seems to prefer. The battle is well met and my victory is yet assured. A third of my force has taken to the sky where they battle Celestia’s pegasi. My flyers are outnumbered but skill is prevailing and none have yet fallen. Soon the skies will be ours alone.

The land battle goes similarly. My forces have been in a fighting retreat from the beginning. They goad Celestia’s guard into traps and pitfalls. Celestia’s forces are thinned as they make their way across the courtyard. My forces have kept to a mid-ranged fight. Should they move in too close training may overtake reason and the fighting become less lighthearted. At greater range the unicorns will have a clear advantage.

A temporary ceasefire has been called. Some icicles hang dangerously above the fighting and should they be dislodged it may prove fatal. As they are cleared sister and I agree that the fighting should resume exactly as it was the moment before the ceasefire was called. I have no objections considering I am winning.
