Prince Armor has studied well under Celestia’s tutelage. I should find his meddling more tiresome that I do. As I go to engage Chrysalis’s forces the entirety of Celestia’s guard is arrayed before me and insisting to march under my banner.
They have armed themselves with far more than the spears I had given them. Lances, blades and bows shine in the morning sun along with the determination in each pony’s eye. I could tell them to return to their posts and engage the battle with only my own forces but they would follow. Their leader has stoked their desire for revenge until it blazes hot before me.
They have trained themselves to be much more than the gilded shields the changelings fought weeks ago. Even so their unannounced arrival on a battlefield will lead to more casualties than relying on their untested skill. I cannot deny them and so I must account for them in my battle plans.
