When the ponies came, they tried to convert humanity with words and kindness, saying that they were misguided beings and the princesses would help them on the path to Harmony. When that failed, the ponies tried the potion, only for it's magic to be countered by humanity's science. Then they tried force and failed completely at that.
Finally they decided to let the Barrier defeat humanity and it seemed to work! Nearly 50% of the planet was covered with humanity doing it's best to find a solution.
Unfortunately, the ponies of Equestria are about to learn a harsh lesson that humanity learnt long ago. The Earth can be paradise for those who tame it, but to others it is hell.

Stop me if you heard this before. Guy goes to costume convention as a fictional character. Guy or girl meets a merchant. Get a piece for there costume then goes to Equestria. Here's the thing the guy I am is already in Equestria. Its set in good read the story.

May 25, 2014: I GOT FEATURED! HOLY CRAP THANK YOU SO MUCH!

A D&D gamer is sucked into the land of Equestria in the form of his favorite custom D&D character, with absolutely no understanding of why or how.
What will happen to our pseudo protagonist? Will he go feral from being hunted? Will he find allies? Even if he does, would they still accept him if they discover the cruelty of his homeworld? Will he manage to reach civilization before he starves or goes insane? Or did he already go insane thinking he was in the body of an RPG character? And most importantly, "Why can't I cast any flipping spells!?"

Let the torture story* begin...

And if it wasn't clear: this is a D&D crossover. (5e rules for all those rules lawyers out there. Corrective comments welcome!)

Ok, so here I am in Equestria, AWESOME! Living the dream my fellow bronies! The minor problem? Instead of the ponies in the show the inhabitants are all anthro versions of themselves. Good news? Twilight and her friends are willing to give me a benefit of a doubt. Bad news? Celestia and Luna despise me, the reason for that? I was brought to Equestria as one of the awesome ones in video game villain history, complete with triforce of power and immense dark magic, the powerhouse, ganondorf! As a result of our first meeting, I wound up petrified for 1500 years, thankfully I figured out a way to keep myself from going insane. But now that I am awake, I have one goal.... "Twilight? While the ponies and griffons focus on the present and what the future may bring, the gnoll finds himself faced with his own past as their journey takes them closer and closer to his old, forgotten home.
