A few days later, Twilight and her friends were called into the Crystal Empire for a princess summit. And of course Loki knew exactly where this was going, As soon as Twilight had told him about the summit he had started laughing maniacally to himself and muttering something about a, "Brad," Nyx was excited because she would be allowed to actually come to the empire this time. The day of the trip, Loki had his magical bag that was bigger on the inside at the ready and could barely contain his glee at the prospects before him.
'Oh boy, I can't wait!' He cheered inside his head. 'Not only will I get to torment both Flash Sentrys, we'll also get to tangle with Sunset Shimmer. And once we reform her we'll only have a short time to wait until we get to go through Rainbow Rocks!'
As the group got to bed Loki himself decided to sleep on a hammock hanging about. He head Twilights yelling. "Somepony stop her... Loki!" She screamed. Loki appeared with a sword in hand however Sunset ran right past him. "Crap." Sunset then passed through a mirror as Twilight stopped at. "Where how?' Loki stopped to look it over he touched it and saw pathways all across the multiverse. He was sent back from a shock wave. He saw the hidden paths between dimensions.
He saw dozens of realities as well as the others. He blinked he was lucky with his Equestria.
Loki just shook his head as he tried to clear his head of the images he had seen. 'I think I just stared into the void, and wouldn't you know it stared back.' He thought with a grim chuckle. "Loki, why didn't you stop her?" Twilight asked. "I'm sorry Twilight, she was too quick for me I didn't have a chance to react." Loki apologized. Twilight let out a small sigh.
"Okay, I understand. I couldn't catch her either. Who even was she?" Twilight asked.
"I am afraid that was an old student of mine," Celestia explained as she and the others walked in. "She was incredibly bright, but her ambition and pride clouded her judgment and had her believe I was holding her back for one reason or another. In the end, she had ran off and I had never been able to find her, until now." She concluded as she cast her gaze on the mirror. "Twilight I am afraid you will have to cross through the mirror and retrieve your element before the portal closes for another 30 moons." Celestia explained.
"I'm going with her," Loki stated. "And before you try to say anything to stop me, just remember that you can't stop me, in any sense of the word."
Celestia had to admit she couldn't stop Discord so she couldn't stop Loki. Spike jumped on to Twilight’s back.
"I'm coming too."
The three then passed though the portal. Loki looked at the strange place until finally they were dumped out. Loki stood up. The first thing he realized he had on a black shirt with Anarchy is Chaos written on it. a Jacket with balance written on it and what looked like the Elements of Disharmony symbol. He had on leather boots and blue jeans. Finally he had long hair with one long bang in the front, and a necklace that showed a star of chaos. Twilight stood up only to collapse soon afterwards. Also, Spike was a dog.
Before Twilight could do anything Loki knelt down beside her and covered her eyes. "Loki, what are you doing?" She asked clearly confused.
"Trust me Twilight, this is for your own good," Loki told her. "Now, this world is a little different than what you're used to. You're not a pony right now, and Spike is a dog."
"Really?" She questioned.
"Yeah," Spike cut in, "you're more like a... I have no idea really." Loki could hear Twilight's breathing start to quicken, but he did his best to calm her down.
"Hey, everything is fine. You're not a monster or anything. Right now you are a bipedal being known as a human, and so am I. Now, I'm going to take my hands away and let you see me, but only if you promise not to freak out."
"I promise." She said. His hands were removed and Twilight could see his punk look. Twilight blinked at this. She looked at her new hands and her outfit. She almost fell over but Loki helped her up. "You seemed to have adapted to this... wait you and Discord mostly stand on your hand legs so this is nothing new for you right?" Twilight asked. Loki gave her a smile.
"You got that right." Spike looked at the two of them.
"You know you really should just get married." Spike answered
Both of them blushed hotly at that comment. "Uhhh now's not the time for that Spike," Loki said to segue away from the m word. "We've got a magical tiara to find."
"Loki's right, we can worry about things like that when we're done here." Twilight agreed. Loki looked over the surrounding area and noticed they were right in front of Canterlot High.
'Okay, so far this is like the show, so as long as we're careful, we can get this done pretty quickly.'
"Alright you two, follow me. Twilight, hold on to me and tell me if I'm going too fast. I don't want you to fall and hurt yourself." Loki told them.
Twilight tightened her grip on Loki and nodded as she followed his gaze toward the school. "Lead the way Loki. I'll trust your judgment on this." She said with an audible gulp. Loki just chuckled and looked her right in the eyes.
"Hey, there's no need to be scared. I won't let anything happen to you. We'll get your crown back in no time." Twilight nodded and the two of them made their way toward the school.
Spike just scratched behind his ear and said, "Oh yeah, they really need to just get it over with already."
The school seemed to have human versions of ponies Twilight knew about. She managed to get use to her new from. As they walked Loki saw this version of Discord. He was the janitor. He also had on a shirt. "Chaos is Anarchy.”
'Well Discord’s the janitor.' They finally found a familiar face, the human version of Fluttershy who was cowering in front of Sunset Shimmer with obvious fear in her eyes. "Leave her alone." Twilight said. Loki himself saw a cart of muffins being pushed by Derpy’s human self. He took one from her blind spot and took a bite.
"Do as she says."
Sunset Shimmer looked at them both. She actually realized. This was the alicorn and that strange thing.
"You have no idea how things work here do you?"
Loki answered, "You rule the school right?" He asked as he took another bite.
"Yes, while you have no idea how things in this world work," Sunset said with a smirk. Loki chuckled at that.
"I wouldn't be too sure about that. I know a lot of different things. And also, your mean girl act doesn't really intimidate me."
"It doesn't have to," Sunset said not even flinching at Loki's attitude, "it works on the rest of the school." She then returned her focus to Twilight. "And in a few days I'll have your crown on my head at the end of the Fall Formal." She concluded as she turned and walked away. Twilight then turned to Fluttershy.
"Are you okay?" Fluttershy just nodded at her.
"So what's your name?" Twilight asked even though she already knew the answer. Fluttershy just squeaked out her name which caused Twilight to smile a bit. "Did you say your name was Fluttershy?"
"Yes," The girl said. Loki had finished his muffin and tossed it behind himself. It hit Bon Bon who slipped and fell. "Who are you both?" The girl asked. Twilight thought fast about the differences in this world’s word choice.
"I'm Twilight and this is my boyfriend Loki."
Loki answered. "Sup." A small dog appeared as well. "And this is Twilight's dog spike." Loki finished. Spike glared at him holding him up. "Hey don't give me that look." He told Spike.
As another cart passed by Loki took a cupcake from it. "These aren't as good as Sugarcube Corner." Loki said taking a bite.
"Loki, do you have to keep taking food?" Twilight said with a frown.
"What? I'm hungry and it won't be a while until lunch." "Can we just please keep focus here?" Twilight huffed.
"Alright, I'll stop taking any more food, but I'm keeping this cupcake."
"Ugh, whatever, just please promise to be on your best behavior while we're here."
"Uh, this is my best behavior, Twilight."
Twilight facepalmed and replied, "That's what I was afraid of." Fluttershy giggled as she watched the two of them.
"Oh um, thanks for standing up to Sunset for me. Nobody does that, nobody."
"Don't mention it," Twilight said with a smile. Loki chuckled at Fluttershy's response.
"It wasn't that big of a deal. I mean, I bet she weighs 110 pounds soaking wet. It's not like she can do anything to us."
Fluttershy blushed and looked down. Loki saw the element of magic. "Hey isn't that the element of magic?" He stated. It was in a box.
"You mean the crown of the Fall Formal?" Fluttershy asked. Loki snapped his fingers then remembered he had no magic. Somewhere in the town an ATM exploded.
"Well this sucks." Loki said he snapped his fingers again. An asteroid gained sentience right as he slammed into another one. He pulled Twilight towards him. "I can't use my magic." He snapped his fingers again. A protest over something ran as their signs attacked them.
"What, does that mean I won't be able to use my magic?" Twilight asked as it looked like she wanted to panic.
"It's pretty safe to assume that," Loki replied. He then noticed the look on Twilight's face.
"Hey, we can get through this."
"Okay, you're right." Twilight replied. She then turned toward Fluttershy with a weak grin. "So what is this Fall Formal that Sunset mentioned?"
"Oh, it's the most important dance of the school year. Every year there's a vote for the princess of the dance and the winner gets a crown. And this is the crown this year," Fluttershy said as she held up Twilight's crown.
"Well then, I guess I have to win the vote." Twilight said. Fluttershy started to panic at that.
"Y-you can't do that!" She 'yelled'. "Sunset Shimmer always wins the vote."
"Because she either forces others or there are idiot lackeys who do it?" Loki answered. Loki also got everything right about this. "Or it’s because she’s the only one who runs right?" Loki asked. Fluttershy nodded.
"Everyone is too afraid to oppose her." Loki snapped his fingers. Far off in another part of the world a stone statue came alive and danced for a few moments. A local physicist visiting the city fainted at seeing the scientifically impossible.
"Ok then who do we have to go to?" Loki asked.
"Principal Celestia." Loki tapped his head.
‘Should I tell Twilight?’ he decided no it would be too much fun. Back at the statue sight the physicist was going mad and had to be placed in an asylum.
"Wait, Principal Celestia," Twilight said as her brain seemed to come to a complete halt. Loki leaned in to whisper into her ear.
"Yeah, you gotta remember that we're in an alternate reality. Even you have a double here."
"Really, do you think we'll run into her?"
"Nope, plot convenience." "Wait, what did you just say?" Twilight asked.
"Nothing, just saying that we won't see her. Which is too bad because two Twilights would be amazing," Loki stated as he started to picture an 'encounter' with two Twilights… Twilight snapped her fingers in front of his face.
"Loki focus, now is not the time for that. We only have a few days to get the crown back. Otherwise, we'll be stuck here for thirty moons."
"Yeah, how long is that by the way? I never really understood that."
"Loki!" Twilight growled.
"Ok fine." Loki said backing off from this. In their little walk around the school however they came across someone in the shadows. Loki was able to get to her and held her up by her shirt. It was Rarity. "Well isn't this a surprise." Loki said.
"Can you put me down you ruffian your outfit is simply..." Loki dropped her.
"Yeah I kinda like my look." Loki said looking himself over. Twilight and Fluttershy finally caught up to him and to this version of Rarity.
"There you are Loki, I was looking for you." Twilight said as she came up to Loki. "Sorry Twilight, you know that I sometimes wander off when I get bored." "Do you even hear yourself sometimes?" Twilight sighed. "I swear I should put a child's leash on you or something."
"Oh is...."
"And don't even think about making a joke out of that." Twilight said, interrupting any joke that was about to come out of Loki's mouth. On his part, Loki just slumped over and seemed to pout.
"Fine, but I'll still think it." Rarity looked between the two of them. "I take it the two of you are dating?" She asked.
"Yeah, is it that obvious?" Loki asked, perking up. Rarity then turned to Twilight.
"What do you see in him darling?"
