So hi, my name is now Oleander, and I have a calamity to stop.

I just got Them's Fighting Herds and really loved the character of Oleander, and since I have been reading displaced fics recently, I might try at one of them. Though I don't know whether this will turn into a normal story among the way, but just with the displaced background.

From the unraveled psyche behind The Corner of (Our) Eyes, Eyes Wide Shut, and Schadenfreude, comes a new adventure comedy of horrific proportions!

Ever since Sunset Shimmer, nay, Starswirl the Bearded himself crossed the threshold into the human realm, there have been traces of magic among us. And since that time, there have been those who stood against the creatures of the dark that would seek to do us harm.

Unfortunately, right now 'those' people are a group of high school delinquents who can barely keep out of detention long enough to get the job done. Armed with medium-speed wits, a minimal grasp of magic and monsters (mostly from the internet), and whatever heavy or sharp things they can get their hands on, these boys will stop at nothing to disperse the atrocities that threaten their daily lives.

Suddenly, violently, and all over the frickin' place.

Mercenaries. Sellswords. Rōnin. The Siren Sisters are considered many things. Honourable samurai to some, and lawless scoundrels to others.

Adagio Dazzle doesn't much care what you call them, so long as she's paid for the blood she spills.

"Okay everypony! Time to play Oubliettes and Ogres!" Twilight said, holding up the reference book like the ponies hadn't seen it multiple times before.

Pinkie Pie clapped her hooves. "Oh silly-filly, we can say 'Dungeons and Dragons' we're both owned by Hasbro!" She was ignored.

"Dungeons and Dragons, I mean, Oubliettes and Ogres? Don't you know that's Nightmare Moon's game?" The Doctor gasped sticking his head through the window.

Princess Luna pushed him out of the way and stuck her in the window and shouted, "Just because we were mad with jealous and bruised ego, does NOT mean all our hobbies at the time were themselves evil!"

Twilight Sparkle blinked and uncurled an ancient scroll examining it closely. "At least that explains the ancient 'Slay the Tyrant Sun' campaign module from the ancient first editions I found in the Castle of the Two Sisters."

Luna blushed.

This is a group-story/addventure/chain-story/round robin, fanfic 'story' of the Mane Six Plus Spike playing Dungeons and Dragons/Oubliettes and Ogres, with occasional guest players (like Trixie or Gilda), with Spike and Twilight rotating as Dungeon Master. It's intended to be an IN-CHARACTER comedy.

However, except for the opening set-up post, each post should be more self contained, if say (in joke) Twilight is fire balled by a Mimic in one post in a desert pyramid, the next post can have them sailing a ship encountering seaponies siren expies, each one containing a short joke, or an extension of a previous scene if that's what the poster wants. Time skips, flash backs, the ponies rotating different characters and campaigns, are all allowed (and ENCOURAGED) as long as the ponies stay in character (such as Pinkie Pie NOT fireballing a cabbage sales stallion and saying she thought he was a demon, thank you very much).

There are prototype rules and may change with time.

It's also intended to be an INDEPENDENT UNIVERSE from the Pony POV Series OR the Pinkie Pie Variety Show! So things aren't esoteric.

People don't know how agonizing it is being alone for a few thousand years, stuck in a chair the whole time. Let me tell you, it's not fun. Then, this teeny weeny 'Princess' shows up and acts like she's the boss. Oh, and Sparklebutt is there too.

So, how did this happen? It's was probably that angsty Merchant asshole. Should never have bought from him. News flash kids: when a creepy Merchant guy walks up to you with very desirable wares, walk the fuck away. It's a damn trap.

But the worst part of my endless torment? I'm a fucking corpse sitting on a golden throne, writhing in agony as I slowly decay into nothingness.

....fuck you, Merchant Asshole.

The life of a villain can have its highs and lows. You have to build it up, mold yourself based on what you want to be. The bar for being the villain isn't that high. Hell, all you have to do is preform some evil deed.

An evil overlord on the other hand, that takes things like planning and common sense. You can't just expect to get what you want by throwing magic bombs or having some dastardly plot that has so many holes in it that it will inevitably fail when some heroic group decides to put you under.

It's even harder when you have magic powered deities who will stand in your way, like what I have right now. So no, it's not easy. Sorry buddy, domination of anything takes time.

Back to me though.

The multiverse is filled with countless possibilities. I am now a member of this mess of worlds and universes. Now in a land unknown to those who haven't watch a kid's show, within a body foreign to me, I must face those who are considered gods.

My old identity matters little and I only have one purpose now. And unlike those colleagues of mine, very kind of me to consider my fellow villains colleagues, I have a plan to outdo those who would stand in my way.

So join me on my little quest and watch as an evil overlord builds his way to the top. After all, we all know you came to see the villain, not some ridiculous heroic youth embarking to face the forces of evil.

Over a thousand years ago, a bunch of really ugly monkeys got their asses saved by a certain alicorn of the moon, who may or may not have been going through middle school syndrome. As might be expected, there was a party, and a lot of drinking was involved. As might not be expected, a religion begun.

When Celestia finally saw Luna free of Nightmare Moon's corruption, she was hoping that would be the end of it. So, because it was shaping up to be one of those years, an entire city of cultists shows up.

AN: This is one of those things were you want to explore writing in a comedic style, and then you realize that college exists to be unpleasant at the least opportune times.

I have no idea what happened or how I got here all that I do know is I'm in a world full of talking horses.

Ya I thought I was crazy to or dreaming, but then stuff happed some blue horse with a horn and wings is after me. Not only that the ones with horns have magic!. Well good thing I live in this forest then.

One thing that keeps bugging me is how these three little horses, how in Gork an' Mork name do they keep finding me!?.
