I just got Them's Fighting Herds and really loved the character of Oleander, and since I have been reading displaced fics recently, I might try at one of them. Though I don't know whether this will turn into a normal story among the way, but just with the displaced background.

you committed the same mistake that a lot of writers do in displaced stories, the character continues acting as an immature(?) teenager after thousands of years of existence
but I'll give you the benefit of doubt and watch the story for now
