    Completed False Face

Well, that was the longest post of any story I set on this website. July 31st 2021 to April 30th, 2020. Interestingly enough, both the ending and beginning are set on the very last day of their respective months.

The turnout on this one is pretty good. I had a feeling it would perform much better than One Thousand Years Ago and its sequel. I'm satisfied with it.

    Decompressing

Last week I posted my newest blog "What I Learned" as a follow-up to share my thoughts about the conclusion of "One Thousand Years Ago", or at least the first part of it. I was dreading that date for several months prior because it looked like it might be the end for that story.

    What I've learned

Buckle up, dear readers who care. I think this blog might be a doozy. I'm starting this one on 12:14 AM, 2/24/2021. I'll announce this again at the end to show how long it took to pour my thoughts into this admittingly tragic but enlightening post.

You are too kind. :raritywink:
And you are not wrong about the short chapters. I fell in love with Leigh Bardo and her POV one character one situation chapters so I wanted to try using them myself. I am still trying even in the sequel I am working on now because I like the focus they bring to the story. That said she never has short chapters so I guess I need to keep on trying and learning.
Ugh that’s what I get for responding from my phone. Still in rehabilitation for at least another week it looks like. :facehoof:
Yeah I do follow quite a few folks here. Been on the site since I first lost the use of my legs over seven years ago. While in rehabilitation then besides exercise there wasn’t much to do. So reached out to the fellow souls I found on this site to preserve my sanity. I cherish many in that list, especially yourself for your kindness.

For a brief moment i asked myself "How did you know I was reading it?" But then I remembered you got the bell notification of the fact I posted your stories in Scrolls Bookshelf. I can explain this one, too. It's because of the poetic elegance of your work "The Flower and the Sorrows Sown". i was originally afraid of your work because I thought it might be too depressing, but this one was short so I gave it a chance. After reading it, however, I couldn't help but wonder if all the rest of your work was of equal quality. If so, I can't afford to continue to ignore it. There are plenty of works on fimfiction I do consider unbearable for one reason or another, but when I do find quality I need to keep a note of it.

Aside from all that, I'm quite fond of you personally. You were my first follower and quite likely my biggest fan, at least that I know of.

You followed my work in a way that genuinely touched my heart so I used to feel guilty not returning the favor until now. What a relief it is to discover, so far, that your work is an easy and enjoyable read. From what I can tell, your work is soulful and narratively makes sense. For example, I was reading your first story "Sunset Tastes the Rainbow" this morning and I internally lifted my eyebrow, personally impressed, that you woven Cadence into the narrative of Sunset's background in a way that really made sense to me. I kind of got an 'Ah-ha' moment from that piece of work so I'm very impressed so far.

Thanks for following my stories Scroll!
