The ending for this chapter is delicious. Can't wait to see the date between Naruto and AJ.
Might want to put a "no" in front of nonsense.
who is in the harem of this fic i can tell its the mane 6 but who else?
Also, you used hooves when Applejack was asking for help. As this is an Anthro story, those should be hands.
You know, with all of the chapters this story has, I almost forgot that we're still in the first season! Looking forward to the Naruto-AJ date!
What great timing to ask AJ on a date, when she's already somewhat delirious!
Gotta wonder how Rarity's gonna react to that, or perhaps she overheard it first-hand.
The Shipping Is Real.
I'm gonna be honest, from the story's progression so far, I don't see anything between applejack and naruto. Maybe the next chapter may change things.
Oh, and by the way, you mentioned that naruto used his "front leg" to catch applebloom, not his arm. I'm not implying anything but isn't this an anthro story?

Lol it is. Once again I was reusing a section from my old story and screwed up yet again. I'm just all kinds of blind when it comes to double checking stuff like that. The old version is actually on Archive of Our Own if you want to go check it out. I really need to stop cutting corners.

Also Applejack's interest is more along the lines of liking Naruto and finding him attractive, then the how deep the others feelings are.

it's going to be a three million word story easy.

I'll send this chapter to my editor. Somehow this one was missed in the one's sent.
This episode was a weird one for me when I watched it. I understand that Applejack thought she could handle all of her chores by herself and that she didn’t want to have to ask for help cause of her honor or her pride, but what was wrong with asking for help. I guess maybe it was just something that writers wanted to write down to show that she could be stubborn but this episode just never sat well with me. Oh well, at least we have a date coming up soon between the two.
AJ truly takes being stubborn to a new level, doesn't she? I understand wanting to not be seen as taking charity or guilt tripping others to help, but when your friends are very willing to help you do a task as significant as gathering all of Sweet Apple Acres crop you should take it. This episode certainly had its laughs and helped bring the "who's a silly pony" meme back to life but it was really concerning seeing AJ push herself to that point of exhaustion solely due to her generally stubborn and somewhat prideful manner.
The way you changed up Big Mac's injury was a great surprise and certainly pushed the fact that this is no where near its canon self. I've always seen Mac as being somepony you didn't want to mess with and him taking on a whole bandit group alone and only came out of it with a broke collarbone and a bum leg. I have a feeling the bandits were regretting that hijacking attempt once the dust settled.
Applejack's award ceremony is still one of the show's funniest moments and I believe you did it justice here in written form. AJ's sleep depraved actions here were still funny if not concerning to those who actually know her. Naruto's concern was very well meaning but at this point in the series AJ had yet to drop her stubbornness in the face of concern. Luckily between Naruto and Twilight the two were able to set AJ straight for the time being.
Geez, when AJ sets her mind on something, she does not back down!
