I feel that Naruto may have done a little channeling in his lecture.

That's what popped in my head anyway.
Has he told anyone tht he had a family before he came there? He should have a meeting with all his friends.
Great chapter. Love how Naruto disciplined DT and SP without raising his voice or berating them.
5682953 that's like the mane go to for parents don't raise their voice just let there rage comout without you showing it
"Cutie Mark Crusaders! Yay!"
And thus the world felt a shiver along it's metaphorical back
This episode for me was an…ehhh episode. I didn’t really mind it that much, I just don’t really get how Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle weren’t friends before this episode. You would think that with the girls going to the same school together and living in the same town, they would have been friends by now (although Sweetie Belle did live with her parents, so she might not have been going to the school at the time). Then again, there is that contradicting scene of the three of them together in the first episode, but I’m not going to talk about that. Also, I really don’t like Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon in this episode (or any in general) so it was good to see Naruto chew them out in the end.
Very enjoyable reworking of the Cutie Mark Crusaders episode. The canon episode itself was a fun romp focusing on the CMC's formation but its one of the more forgettable CMC focused episodes nowadays. Naruto helping the CMC along here by dishing out advice (Applebloom) and cold hard truths (Diamond Tiara) definitely gave the chapter the much needed reworking.
I don't think that Naruto was too harsh on Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon by throwing them off their pedestal brought upon by being spoiled rotten their whole lives. Quite frankly, this should have been the way the episode actually turned out but I guess the writers needed to give the CMC some type of rival to overcome during their episodes. How these two fillies continue to get their way is beyond me as its gotten to the point that each episode featuring them is teeth gnashing in their frustrating allowance of the two being such bastards to the other colts and fillies. It got old fast yet they still do it even now. Naruto taking the mantle and laying down the facts to DT and SS greatly outshines the canon episodes sputtering end to the whole conflict of the episode and greatly makes more sense.

5904202 Probably because they hadn't actually met before this episode

I still don't understand why the show used the term crusaders the last time children crusaded was horrible
The children were enslaved and many never heard from again
Also if they were crusading they would be trying to stop social standings on blank flanks
This was a great improvisation of that episode. So Naruto's working on yin and yang styles huh, it will be amazing to see what will come out of it. So Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon make there first appearance, but at least Apple Bloom has more adults to go to for advice and Naruto finally got the big bro speech from Big Mac lol. Will he eventually get it from Shining armor too or did he already get it? That was some good advice that Naruto gave the kids, to bad it didn't take but at least he helped the CMC.
Oh dear lord. Equestria is doomed.
