You would think she would have had a reaction to the fact Chakra came from a tree.
Cool
I got to say that I liked how Twilit woke up in the chapter and how she was caught by RD getting a massage. On the other, it was nice to see Naruto telling his past to Twilight.

I thought it would be funny and interesting for the character. Fluttershy having a tough military father just seemed way too fitting.
And of course, this now gives reasoning and explanation for Rarity being a fighter.
That was a cute chapter. Very funny wakeup scene.

That happened offscreen.

Yeah that was something I decided it was time to work on to keep the pace of the story moving.
I'm really loving the interactions between Naruto and his friends! I especially love this chapter considering Twilight is one of my favorite ponies (what can I say? got to love the adorkableness of Twilight!). It's really hard to tell who he will end up with, although I am hoping for two or more...
This is the first time I'm ever going to say this in a fanfic, in terms of a relationship, this has the potential to become a polygamous one. With the gender ratio in equestria being in favor of the females, it also helps that the protagonist is a nice, strong, attractive guy.
Plus Shadow Clones. (Wink)

Yep, its always nice that a lot of time and thought is put in the relationships, while also avoiding the pitfall of there be little to no progress at all.
You know, we haven't really gotten a lot of Naruto x Twilight fluff scenes in this story...oops, never mind lol. I do love how adorable you make Twilight out to be by the way without pushing it over the edge, it's a nice change of pace from the 'nerdy' Twilight I see in a lot of stories and it makes for some great scenes, like waking up in Naruto's bed with him, or getting caught getting a massage from him. Those kinds of scenes are my favorite and ones I look forward to down the road.
Talk about an awkward morning in bed. Definitely impressed that Naruto didn't panic too much upon noticing an unfamiliar addition in his bed; Pinkie's random appearances probably help in conditioning him to not make a scene. I do find it hilarious that Twilight subconsciously knew that Naruto was the best protection towards her nightmare thus teleporting to safety. Kurama hit the nail on the coffin in that Rarity and her quirks have made an imprint on Naruto to the point he notices her work.
I found the following scenes with Naruto and Twilight bonding to be quite heartwarming in that it further shows that Twilight has become very comfortable in Naruto's presence and is happy to call him a friend after the initial hiccups in that friendship. It didn't come to much surprise that Naruto decided to divulge his secrets to Twilight since she would at this point be one of the least likely to have a huge reaction to his life. Sure she had a lot of burning questions, but no signs of disbelief or anger towards Naruto keeping such things to himself. Really, thinking about it now this was probably a good thing in the long run.
Considering this chapter started on an impending disaster waiting to happen, I found that by the end the chapter was probably the best start to the Naruto and Twilight fluff fest. Too bad Dash had to make her good natured appearance and then embarrassing the two with her saucy comments. Poor Twilight, if she wasn't in such a panic at being late she'd probably pull a Fluttershy and faint in embarrassment!
Hmm interesting still that does beg the question shouldn't unicorns have their homes magcially insulated to prevent that.
I wonder where spike was for this chapter

That does make sense, but you forgot one crucial thing. The Golden Oaks Library is a hollowed out tree. And keeping some magic field up for who knows how long would be taxing the pony. The magic nullifying insulation would have to be physical and not magical for that reason. It would either have to be on the inside or the outside of the building which would be an enormous eyesore to the interior and exterior structure. Pulling it in the leaves is out of the question because it could fall through the ceiling. They wouldn’t be able to put it within the walls because it’s a hollowed out tree and the walls aren’t hollow.
Not trying to criticize your question, but I’m just pointing out that it wouldn’t work with the library.
