Ah the cider episode. How I love the twists you tossed out. I also like how you stuck to the cannon as much as possible. I can't wait to see how things continue, and what Gryff is going to throw into the mix while he's still free from royal duties. Also the story just gets better with each chapter so I swear I'm going to have to reread from chapter 1 all over again.
okay, i cannot wait for the hokage to play poker.
i hope he can bring big mac, that would be epic.

I have seen shy girl but not training session. The idea of archery appealed to me and thought I incorporate it..
Was wondering how this was going to play out in the story and I'm happy to see it stick closer to canon then some of the other episode related chapters. Everyone was one there A-game here and I believe you nailed all the main points made in the episode perfectly. The Flim-Flam Bros are possibly the most annoying duo in the show but you have to be impressed with their enthusiasm in screwing pony's over for their bits.
For an Applejack focused episode I think that Naruto and the added bond of the herd played out nicely here with Gryff thrown into the mix too add some extra dialogue and support towards the Apple's endeavor. Naruto's view of the competition here did a great job of adding some changes to the episode even if they aren't over the top as some fics tend to do (i.e. poorly done sub-plots on how the Bros are cheating the towns out of their money) . It's nice to get back to more episodic chapters where the Mane 6's problems are at the forefront of the story. Certainly gives the reader a break from worrying on what major villain has in store for them in the darker chapters.
This bothers me, the Flim Flam brothers have no levarage here. Most of the apples in Equestria are made by one branch of the Apple Family or another so pissing off one part would get around fast, on top of that who would harvest the Zap Apples, these two can't do it.
